We moved into Sherrill Hills. It's beautiful, the landscaping is very lovely, the apartments are very nice, there are lots of amenities, and the food is wonderful. The staff is unbelievably nice and helpful. We've been here for four weeks, and we haven't joined in the activities yet. They have bean ball games, book clubs, entertainment every Friday night, and they bring in entertainers.

My dad will move into Sherrill Hills Retirement Resort. The apartments are very spacious and well-appointed. The food was very good and in appropriate quantities. It was just a very welcoming environment. They have movies, they have a workout facility, they have an RN that can help residents, there is a pharmacy onsite, they have community outings, and they have transportation. The staff who gave the tour was amazing. We really enjoyed it, that's why we picked it.

Sherrill Hills was very nice and very upscale. It's beautiful. Everything was well-appointed. The staff who toured me was competent. I thought the rooms were too small, and so did my sister. They were very clean, too small though. The atmosphere and dining area were very nice. It's very well-appointed, very nice, very clean, very upscale, and very nicely decorated. There's a theater, a TV room where you could do the Wii, an exercise room, a beauty shop, a bank, and a pharmacy. Everything is taken care of.

Sherrill Hills was excellent. The staff was very pleasant. We were pleased with everyone we talked to there. The facility was all very nice and very well kept. There were no odors or anything. It was awesome. They have activities available (when we were there, an exercise class was going on) and visits to the doctor or to other locations like trips to Walmart or dining out.

Sherrill Hills is strictly independent living. They don't have any other facility that you could go down to or up to. It was very, very nice. They have a chef on staff. You can get food no matter what time of the day. You could go, and they would make you a sandwich and stuff like that. Their facilities were nice. They also had a dog park, and dogs were allowed. The rooms were smaller, but they had a separate bedroom. They had a full kitchen with a stove and a cooktop, and they all had a full-sized refrigerator. They had wood floors; I like that very much. The reason I didn't go there was that their monthly fee was too high for me, when you didn't have a lump sum to put down. They also had no pool, and I really wanted a swimming pool. They had an ice cream and coffee place that you could go to. Their staff were very friendly. The facilities were very nice, but they're a little too expensive.

Sherrill Hills was one of the older communities in Knoxville. It's been there for quite a while. They have a lot of activities going on. You can pretty much eat about anytime you want. It's got lots of walking trails and workout facilities with all the machines and stuff that are very user-friendly and they all work on hydraulics. You don't have to pull weights and stuff. It's got a very nice library and several game rooms. About every floor, there are places to do that kind of stuff. There are all kinds of tours, they take you shopping, they've got a multipurpose movie theater, and they use it for a chapel and all kinds of stuff like that. They have nursing care there and housekeeping. They have garages for your car if you want to rent one of those. The downside to it was it's an older unit. They've got carpet and stuff in it that I think needs to be replaced. The rooms were dated and a little small. It's got a nice view though. It's on top of the hill there. The staff was extraordinary. I met several people there.

Sherrill Hills was the most expensive of the ones we went to. It didn't feel like we're moving into senior living. It presented their place like it was a community. A community of a variety of ages. My cousin's husband is in his early 60s and so he was concerned that he would be the youngest person there and he wouldn't, everything looked very comfortable. There was lots of storage, the apartment that we looked at was beautiful and they didn't feel like a nursing home. It felt more like we were just checking out a new apartment complex and there were so many different things to do. It was. The people were outside, talking. We talked to several of the residents there. It was just a very nice first step, which is what they're looking for. It felt like it was just moving to a smaller place. They have an actual theater with a stage and a big piano there, they have movies weekly, they have instead of its kind of ramped a bit like in a movie theater, but instead of having movie theater seats or chairs, they have sofas, which was nice, like love seats, two people to a seat. They have a room next to their dining room, which is kind of like their own little bar. It was a place where people were playing cards. They have popcorn in there, you know, that kind of stuff. It was a more relaxed kind of place where you could sit in a room and play cards or play games, or sit in there and have a drink with somebody or something. If my cousin and her husband can swing their budget, that's probably where they're going to end up. We're very impressed with that place.

We looked at Sherrill Hills. It's the Rolls Royce of independent living. It's stunning; maybe that's where I'll go some time. It's on the high end but an amazing facility. We looked at the whole facility. They had food service there, but we did not sample the food. I only met the person who directed our tour. They were having a large activity in a large auditorium, and we probably saw sixty or seventy other residents attending the activity. We were invited to attend the activity with them. It was like a virtual trip to Hawaii. It's not a room; it's a luxury residence. It was nicer than the others. It's a great place.

I visited Sherrill Hills in Knoxville. I'm choosing it because they have a better food line and they have a place for fine dining. I like the fact that they have in-house managers and I like the way they presented things. The staff was excellent. I've talked to three different people that lived there and they said the food is excellent. The facility was very clean and very nice. I thought it was brand new, but it was 7 years old. What I like most about the layout is that it's convenient and I have a dog, so I can just walk right out of my apartment into the sidewalk. The rooms were nice, convenient, and laid out nicely. Everything is right at your fingertips.

I went to Sherrill Hills. It was very clean and had a friendly environment. They were participating in a St. Patrick's day party of some sort when I was there. The apartments were adequate, they had an exercise area, a craft room, a dining room, and a library.

I'm at Sherrill Hills and I love it. They have a bean bag, bingo, happy hour on Friday nights, parties, and fine dining. The food is wonderful and we get three meals a day. The staff is wonderful. My room is wonderful and gets cleaned once a week. They have a garden, a walking trail, card games, and games of all kinds.

I visited Sherrill Hills Retirement Resort, and it was excellent. The food was excellent, they have two or three, 2-bedroom apartments, but none were available to look at. You need to buy the whole package. The staff member stayed with me for the tour, they invited me twice, and the service was first rate.

We went to Sherrill Mills, and we were impressed. We spent a night in their guest suite, we had a meal, the food was absolutely outstanding, and everyone there was so nice. The room was nice, it was like a small apartment with a kitchen, a living area, one bedroom, and a bathroom. I remembered seeing a fitness room. The staff could not have been nicer, they spent more time with us, and explained more things than the other places we visited.

Sherrill Hills was a nice, clean, and pretty community, and they were very helpful. It was Sunday brunch when we went, so there weren’t many activities, but it was bingo night that night, and they had a movie going on. The food was very good, and the dining area was big.

Sherrill Hills Retirement Community stuck out. Beautiful apartments, really great staff, a lot of amenities, just very well run. They offered things like valet parking and a lot more than what I could see in other facilities of its type. A lot of activities, very clean, very open, good food, nice place.

Sherrill Hills Retirement Community was a fairly new place. I chose it basically for my wife and I for the size of their apartments and it's updates. We are still on their waiting list. I like that their management was very friendly as well as the residents.

Sherrill Hills has the nicest atmosphere because they have lots of lights in the place. It’s probably the prettiest place and it also seems to be the most welcoming. The woman who gave us the tour was definitely the most put together as far as presentation, she is very elegant, well-informed and clear in her information.

I think they are really enjoying it. I like it. The food is good, and the rooms are nice and big at Sherrill Hills, bigger than at one other place that we've looked at.

Words cannot describe the level of service and amenities this community provides. Every employee and every resident is genuinely happy. I am ready to retire here, I just have to wait a few years until I am 55

My parents are at Sherrill Hills. The community is outstanding from the caring management and staff to the beautiful accomodations. The choices that are given to the residents are above and beyond what you will find at other places. You can walk in the door and see smiling faces from everyone. My parents favorite things are the theatre and the soft serve ice cream whenever they want! I have never seen one employee that does not seem happy and eager to help in any way they can and I believe that comes from great leadership. Most of the employees have been there since they opened and really know each resident. If you are looking for a lively, engaging and fun place to be you should check out Sherrill Hills. My parents couldn't imagine living anywhere else. The only thing is they wish that sometimes they could find the concierge when they need one they are away from the desk for long periods of time other than that and that's a small thing the place is amazing!
