My mother has moved into Oakwood Senior Living. It's nice, and the price was right. They have a bed, a dresser, and a lamp in the room. The staff members are friendly and nice. They're good, too. The building is nice. They have activities, but I don't know what they are. They have a courtyard.

My brother has moved into Oakwood Senior Living, and they have been very, very nice. I have no problems. He hasn't been there that long, but everybody's really helpful and it's very clean. I haven't eaten any, but he did eat half of a sandwich last night, and that's more than he'd been eating. I was pleased with the facility. His room is very comfortable and plenty large enough. They listed many activities. It was one of the cheapest ones that we had seen and found, and I was pleased with the way it looked and everything. I'm sure there are some that are a little bit more elaborate, but cleanness and helpfulness is my main thing.

We have found Oakwood Senior Living. My mom hasn't moved yet. One of the main reasons I chose it was because it's close to my home and I can visit her regularly. It was also very welcoming. Jessica took me to the rooms. She gave me a couple of choices. She said that they had to be painted and cleaned, but they would be ready for my mom and to let her know which one I wanted. It was a large room and then the room where everyone gathered, the common room, was large also yet cozy because they had chairs lined up in front of the television, and it just seemed like a good place. The staff was very professional and polite. I like her. The dining area was clean and nice. The place felt homey. The staff told me that there was a beauty salon, there was transportation to doctor's appointments or activities. I don't think my mom is going to be in any of that, but still, they are available.

We found Oakwood Senior Living for my brother. The staff has been very wonderful, and he's not the easiest patient to take care of. He loves the food, and he's very picky. What we've seen has been very nice. They took pictures of him in his room after he moved in and we were very pleased with it. The rooms are spacious, because it's an old school, they have nine-foot windows, so there's lots of natural light, and they have really nice, big, handicap accessible bathrooms. His room has a little refrigerator, and a little counter area, and that's all he needs. It's everything that he would need. One thing that was nice was we could use their furniture or ours, and we kind of did both. There is an activity director, but because of COVID they can't do a whole lot. They were taking some of them to sit for a drive in the bus. I said, "Do they get to go somewhere?" She said, "We're literally just taking them for a ride, they never get out of the bus". So I thought that was kind of neat. As for COVID, I know they go to the movies, they go to the mountains, there were several things that we got to pick from for what he wanted to do, so there were several activities that he could do, that he could choose from, but not right now. They seemed to be the most reasonable, their rooms were bigger, and they just definitely were cheaper for the amount of space that he's going to get.

My tour at Oakwood was good. They were very nice to me and I couldn't complain about anything there. I also had a meal there and it was good, plus the staff was helpful. They had nice rooms and the facilities were fine.

In the beginning the facility was very nice, but for whatever reason, the cleanliness has gone done. My mother's room had the same crumbs on the carpet for a few days, the bathroom reeked of urine and the toilet seat was filthy. Step up your facility. The price that's being paid, should bring better results.

Oakwood is a beautiful place with big, spacious rooms and is a lot cheaper than the one my father-in-law was in previously, so I am happy so far. The staff has been really friendly and they seem to be caring for him really well. I think he is getting better attention with his meals because usually they would make him wait a little while, and now they have him served right as soon as he gets out there, so I like that better. They have plenty of activities, but he hadn’t been able to really get into that yet.

Oakwood was very nice, but it didn’t meet our needs. I was pleasantly surprised when I went in as they were very nice. I didn’t see any staff as it was on a Saturday. It was very clean, smelled good, and very nice.

We enthusiastically endorse Oakwood for their quality facility and staff. My in-laws needed some place to go for 3 weeks while my husband and I were out of the country. Amy and the entire staff went out of their way to make my in-laws comfortable and my husband and I secure in mind that they were well cared for. The residents also made the inlaws feel like part of a family.

My parents moved into Oakwood Senior Living. This place is totally awesome. They took an old schoolhouse and turned it into senior living. It reminds me of a hotel when you come in. The rooms are very large. They were very accommodating about taking two of the smaller rooms and knocking the wall out in between so that my parents could have a living room, a bedroom, and two bathrooms, at a discounted price. The price is all-inclusive. I ate there, and the food was phenomenal. The staff is wonderful. The facility just opened and is brand new. Right now, my parents are the only ones on the third floor. It is just an exceptional place, and I would tell anybody to go there.
