My dad is at Tri-State for rehab. The people there are really good to my dad and have seen to it that things are done for my dad to make his stay as comfortable as possible. The Director of Nursing and the Social Worker are amazing they have went above and beyond duty to help me.

My mother was in a car accident and needs inpatient rehab. I was told Tri State Health and rehabilitation was the best. The physical therapist we met was amazing. The office staff was amazing. The nurse and staff that was suppose to take care of my mom on first shift need to be fired. My mom was admitted at 12:00 pm on Thursday. She wasn’t even there 12 hours before we experienced first hand the type of care she would receive. When she needed to use the restroom she buzzed the nurses station No one arrived. She waited ten minutes and buzzed them again. Still no one. She has a broken sternum and is not suppose to get out of bed on her own but had no choice or she would wet the bed. She managed to get into a wheel chair and make it to the bathroom. She was having a hard time getting back into her wheel chair so she pulled the alarm in the bathroom. Still no one showed up to help her. She then managed to get into the wheel chair and proceed to look for help to get back into bed. There was no one around. Finally a PT came by and helped her back into bed. About an hour later she needed to use the bathroom again for a bowl movement. She buzzed the nurses station. No one came. She tried to hold it as long as she couldnt hold it any longer ended up going in her pants. She again buzzed the nurses station noone showed up to help her for one hour and ten minutes. The nurse that came in apologized and said she had no idea since she was not moms patient. By that time the feces was down her leg and stuck in her hair. NO one and I mean no one should have to lay in their own feces for an hour and ten minutes. She also never received her meds in a timely manner. She was told they would not be arriving until midnight. Twelve hours after she was admitted. I offered to leave her meds when I took her in and was told no!! My mom easily could have fallen when she used the bathroom the first time by herself since she is so weak. If she would have fallen she would have laid on the floor for over two hours before anyone would have checked on her or noticed and this is with the alarm being pulled. I will be removing my mother from this facility immediately. My dog would have received better treatment at boarding then my mom received.

A relative will be moving to Tristate Manor Harrogate. I only talked to two people. One of the people was the lady who came out and we did the paperwork. She was great. She was very helpful and very nice. The facility itself looks to be very clean and nice. I got to look through a window to see where my relative was going to be. They have off-campus stuff where they take people shopping and stuff like that. I personally don't have any experience with the food, but I've heard it's good.

My Dad has been there for over 2 years for LTC. We have been so happy with his care. He has gained weight. He loves the food. He participates in activities, such as weekly outings, as well as Friday night football games. His needs are anticipated by the well educated staff. Physical Therapy was wonderful. My sister and I think the best in the Tristate area. As for my family we love Tristate and so very thankful that our Dad has a place to call his HOME.

I am so happy that I had the opportunity for my Dad to be a resident of Tristate Health and Rehab. He enjoys the Wednesday outings, the meals are very good, activities in and outside, and therapy was just the best around. He had been to other facilities prior to Tristate, in the area, and did not receive the therapy and wound care that he received there. Thank You Tristate for taking care of my Dad. I have a peace of mind in my day to day activities.

Before my mom passed away, she was at Tri-state Health and Rehab. The staff were very good and helpful. The rooms were of average size and the dining room was nice. I was able to eat there and the food was delicious. I like that this facility is close to my home. They kept my mom clean and well fed. They were just a little under staff.
