I toured Brookdale Greeneville. It was a very nice place. They had a great facility. They had nice private rooms, and they would prepare your meals and do your laundry, and they would give you your medicines if you needed them to. It was clean, organized, and new looking. You could eat in the dining room or your room. They had activities during the day, and they went on trips. The staff was very nice, well educated, and knew the facility and everything that went on there very well. She was very helpful.

I liked Brookdale Greeneville well. It was very nice, very clean, and they're very nice people. However, my mom would be a better fit for the other one. The room that we saw was a studio type of room. It was very clean. It was very pleasurable because it had nice flooring on it. It had easy access to the bathroom. I liked it. I like the microwave and the little refrigerator that was there. It was a very nice room. The staff was very friendly and very informative. We saw the gym and that was very nice. They gave us a tour where we saw the activities room and the chapel. It was a very nice tour. They had a lot of amenities there.

I took a tour here and the staff were great, kind and very helpful. The residents were having so much fun playing bingo when I arrived. I had a great visit with the cook and she seemed to really care about my specific concerns. The staff in the dementia care were so sweet and loving. They answered all my questions and made me feel like I was family already. I loved the art they had on display that the residents had made in their memory care wing. They were making wind chimes with them, I was so glad to have seen that I think momma would enjoy it. The executive director and Sales lady were so kind and offered me lunch and even though I kept them a while they were glad to help. It’s hard to place your parents into a home and leave but I believe that momma will have the best care here and it eases my mind.

Amanda, the Director, has been so very helpful and always easy to get in touch with. The staff is kind and considerate and always busy helping with the residents needs. Communication is great and we felt our mother was safe and well taken care of.

My husband was at Brookdale Greeneville as a memory care patient. It was not very clean because it had carpet on the floor, which wasn't very easy to keep clean. It was expensive. I didn't think that they got the care that they should have gotten. It did not match their advertisements. In other words, I didn't think it was good. The staff members were good. They had been there a long time and they were good at what they did. I would give their food a three because they had cold sandwiches a lot in the winter time, and I didn't like that. The food tasted good and was healthy, but I wasn't impressed with it. They did not have many activities for the residents to do. When they had the corporate or the state come in, they would get out some activities and work with them, but when the corporate or the state was gone, they'd put them back up and they didn't do them anymore. The room was adequate, but it wasn't clean as it could have been. Most of the staff members were very caring; however, some of them were young people who did not always follow the rules that were set up.

Brookdale Greeneville was nice, but I don't think we're ready for it yet. It was expensive. They showed me the rooms, we ate lunch, and we toured the place. The rooms were very nice, the staff was very nice, we mentioned that we liked a dessert from the town, and she went out and bought it for us. I wasn't impressed with the food; it wasn't really tasty.

Brookdale Greeneville seemed to be an exceptionally nice community, but the price was my deciding factor. The staff member treated me very nicely and the rooms were really nice and a little more updated than the other place.

We thought Brookdale was very nice. The people were very friendly, very professional, and very courteous. We were very impressed with it. They have plenty of activities to offer, but we did not check them out.

Brookdale Greenville was clean. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were a little bit small, but they were OK. The facility was a little pricey. The dining area was fairly homey. I liked the director, who was very nice.

Brookdale is very nice, but we didn’t see many people around. We saw their dining room, but we chose not to have a meal. The rooms were spacious and well decorated.

I had checked them out two years ago, and they didn't have anything open for him then. I thought the manager was excellent. She was very nice, very attentive, and kept in touch with me for several weeks until my father decided that he didn't want to make the move.

I thought that the majority of the staff was very caring, considerate and attentive of the residents. I attributed any apathy to my being there. Maybe some workers felt like I was scrutinizing them. I thought everything looked clean and tidy and that there were plenty of things for the residents to do. It had a very homey feel to it. One of the residents I spoke to said she was very excited about an upcoming trip to Johnson City--a town about an hour away that has more businesses than Greeneville, like a mall and Target--and said that the facility plans outings and things for them to do often. I'm sure that is a big morale booster. The mood seemed quite positive, all things considered. I had an idea of how things would look when I got there: depressed residents, gloomy mood, poor conditions. This visit definitely changed my opinion. There are wonderful assisted-living facilities available and I would absolutely suggest visiting a prospective home before placing a loved one.

I visited this facility during my caregiver certification training. I was impressed with the facility and the care that was being given to the patients with Alzheimer's in particular. The patients were on a diet to help them deal with their specific health concerns, and individual attention was given to each client as needed - rather than a mass lunch at the cafeteria, so to speak. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the facility. I would recommend this to any caregiver who is looking for a job in Greenville; and any family member who needs to have their loved one in a nursing home.
