Both of my parents are now residents, at Gallaway Health. They both had lived with me for three years. I had been their full-time care giver. The time had come, that I alone, could not give them the care they need. This realization and the decision to find them a home, was very difficult. It’s something no one wants to face. Well, I could not have made a better decision for my parents and myself. My experience with Gallaway Health and the entire team, has exceeded all of my expectations. From the very first phone call, when I called to inquire about the facility, everyone has been AMAZING!!! They walked me through each step, answered all of my questions, listened to my concerns, they have gone above and beyond, in every single way! Now that my parents are residents, they continue to go about and beyond!! My parents are getting the most amazing care. They are treated with love and respect, they are happy and safe. The peace of mind that gives me, is unbelievable. Gallaway Health was the right place and the right decision, for our family. If you or someone you love, is in a similar situation, I definitely recommend giving Gallaway Health a chance to meet your needs. I’m beyond thankful to EVERYONE!! Demetra, Joanna , Britney, Felisha, Roxie, Kelley… the list goes on and on. All of the therapist, Nurses, CNA’s… everyone!!! Thank you all so very much!!! Amy Ludwig

My late husband was in this nursing home for approximately seven weeks. It was awful! The first week he was there he fell and broke his hip, and was in pain for 2 1/2 days before anything was done. I could write a book about how bad this nursing home is in every area--social services, laundry (lost clothes), inadequate nursing care, uncaring CNA's,etc. You could never get a call back from the doctor on staff there. My understanding is that they have had 14 administrators in the past eight years! The situation was so bad that they now have brought in an interim administrator to try to clean things up, but quite frankly, I am not optimistic that there will be any lasting changes. My husband developed pneumonia there on December 12, 2013, and died in Baptist ICU the next day. Of course, I do not blame them for the pneumonia, but I got to the nursing home about 6:30 the evening of the 12th, and found him in the worst shape I have ever seen him; he was having trouble breathing, and he had thrown up on himself, and no one was doing anything to ease his discomfort. That is what I blame them for. Do the research for yourself, but I would think long and hard before I would place a loved one in this horrific facility.
