My mother-in-law has moved into Brookdale Gallatin. Everything is good with the upkeep and the layout. It's very easy to maneuver around. Everything looked clean. It was very nice outside and inside. Another reason we chose them as well was because the staff was very nice and very helpful. Activity wise, they've got a little exercise program that they do with the residents, and they also have the different activity rooms with the bingo and the cards. They actually get to take them out like if they want to go to WalMart or places like that for activities. That's kind of what we liked about that as well. From my understanding, the food is very nice, and very good, and no complaints there.

Brookdale Gallatin was nice. I went there to visit a very dear friend. I didn't particularly like the lunch service setup. Whatever you had did not matter, like that day they were serving hotdogs and I had to pay $5 for that lunch. That's not bad, but generally you'd think they were included in the meals. The staff was very courteous. The room was about average. There's a small bedroom with sort of a hallway size living room and a microwave with a sink. There wasn't really all that much. They had ice cream served once a week, and they had a garden area and a patio. They had a nice visitors' room, sort of like a lounge. They had ministers come in on Sunday. The manager was out, but the assistant manager was very pleasant and encouraging. I did not try the food they were serving, but it looked presentable. They had nice tables and the people that were eating seemed congenial. It was a nice place. They served in the summertime some of the meals outside on kind of a patio situation. They had hairdresser and a beauty parlor, but I thought it was a little high in price.

I visited Brookdale Gallatin before because a friend of my mom was there. It was very homey and very clean; the rooms were a lot like the other places we saw. It's very clean, modern and there's no issue there. The cafeteria where I ate in that facility was very nice, I had a very nice meal, and the staff there was very kind to me. They showed me what was going on and what everything was about. It was a marvelous place. The staff was very nice, pleasant, very kind to me and very kind to my friend who lives there. I've visited a couple of times and he was very happy there. I ate with them, I very much enjoyed it and it was very well done. They're all expensive but I think that it's a good value when you need it.

Such a caring staff with trustworthy nurses that provide amazing care to all the residents. The building is clean and smells good too. The rooms are updated and kept clean. Really love the personal attention everyone gets. Great place to be!

Refreshing to find a local place with such a happy atmosphere. The new management team is really working with their hearts putting the needs of the residents first. Impressed with the executive director and lead team. I walked in and was welcomed with the laughter of staff, residents and other guests while they were dance exercising. The front door as far as I know has always been locked- with a doorbell or code to enter in and out. I was on my way to visit and another one of the residents asked if I was staying- and I really didn't want to leave- I wanted to stay and do the next thing with them. They even had made painted initials with bows to hang at each door. The building was clean and smelled like a good lunch was in the works. I was so impressed by the nurses and techs too. Real compassion. I usually do not leave reviews, but was overcome with the positive experience. It is a relief to leave my loved one in such a place without felling down when leaving. I suggest giving this place a visit.

Brookdale in Gallatin has made many improvements to their building and staff, and all have been great. As soon as you enter the building, the atmosphere and building looks new and warm, inviting you in to a home. The staff is amazing, many of the workers have been here caring for elderly for years. Every worker I saw was caring in some way for a resident, and not rushing around ignoring them. They had some fun activities going that were age appropriate, but the family atmosphere was the best thing. When it is time for me to have some assistance, this is definitely the place I will be coming.

I was very uncomfortable with the front door of Brookdale Gallatin. I found it to be concerning that every time I was there, there were always residents going toward the door and opening it despite there being a very busy road right outside the building. I did not like the fact that you could open the door without putting in a security code. The place is also kind of dark and old looking. The rooms were OK but kind of dated and bland. It seemed like more of a dormitory to me. If you are paying that much, I would expect the rooms to look more residential with better quality and amenities. The baseboards, paint, doors, and cabinets looked very dormitory-like.

Brookdale Gallatin was very nice, but the housing coordinator person was a high pressure salesman. The communication between he and the other woman that worked in the office was very strange. She was asking questions that sounded like my uncle would be moving in that night. It's bad communication wise, but the facility was good looking and clean. There were little apartments, and they were all nice.

Mom is in Brookdale Gallatin, and she will have been there for be 3 weeks tomorrow. It is smaller with only 40 or 42 units. It is all in one level. It is kept up very well. The apartment is set up well for her needs. The layout is good. The staff is very conscientious in making sure that everything is set up for their needs. They are friendly. The food is decent. She is acclimating well. They have activities, but not too many. They have church available, exercise class, and ice cream socials, and they go to restaurants, but she hasn't used all that. There is a geriatric doctor's group that makes house calls, and they have nurses. It is near a lot. It is very conveniently located. It is about 6 or 7 miles from my house, but it is easy to go to. Any errand she needs me to do for her or any places I need to go is within a mile. It doesn't smell, and they are always cleaning. Everything is newer, and they keep it looking newer. Their marketing director will really go beyond the call of duty. He will do whatever he can to assist in making things happen, and I think that the personal touch really did sway me a lot besides the level of care and proximity. So, it is a good facility, it is close to me, it is in a good neighborhood, and the staff did a lot to assist in a smooth transition.
