Pine Ridge Care was my second choice; it was a very nice place too. The amenities there weren't super anything, but the staff was really good. There were lots of interaction with the patients, and there were lot of patients comparably speaking that were out of bed; it's just wasn't in our hometown.

I feel as if this facility does a great job of caring for my grandmother. She is always as happy as one can be living in a facility like this. Every time we visit she is well taken care of, clean, pain-free, comfortable, and well fed. The nurses and assistants and kind and caring, and I feel they do an exemplary job of caring for their patients. The only reason I give this facility four stars instead of five is I feel it's a bit cramped, but that's not such a big deal since my grandmother is happy.

When my grandmother had stroke immediately followed by a heart attack in 2004, she was no longer able to care for herself. Our family was strapped for room in all of our houses and living situations, so no one was available or able to accommodate her within the We decided to place her in assisted living so she could get the help and care that she needed. Pine Ridge was a very welcoming facility, in a quiet and pretty area of town. All of the staff were polite and caring. My grandmother never complained, once we got her room set up to her liking. She also had Alzheimer's, so she would sometimes become confused. The staff worked wonderfully with her.

I visit the patients at Pine Ridge and this is a great place in my opinion. The rehabilitation staff is one of the best I have seen and they are good at getting injured patients moving on their feet again. They seem to make doing exercise into something fun for the patients and in turn, it keeps them active and vital. I see the nursing staff doing a great job as well. This facility seems like it keeps a focus on getting the patients up and active, which is a welcome change.
