The Barcus Family would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of the Staff at Smith Co. Health and Rehab. Though Mom went to be with the Lord this past Friday, the Staff did an excellent job caring for her while she was there. Trust me, excellent care is not easy to find. We tried multiple facilities that severely lacked compasion and understanding of the elderly. My only regret is that we didn't find this facility sooner. You all have one of the most difficult jobs out there..... Keep up the good work, our Elders deserve it! Thanks for all you do!

Smith County Health and Rehabilitation is a good nursing home. They've been good to my father. The staff is super nice and the rooms are nice. They are understaffed right now, which is what is happening everywhere, but it's just a nice place. They give us information all the time. They have a program director, a social worker, and several nurses on staff. They also play games and do activities every day. It's an older building, but it's clean.

The SO CALLED REHAB is a joke my family member broke his hip and has surgery and they have yet to get him up out of bed for physical therapy... All they di is sit at nurse station and look at you like you are crazy when you walk by or up to them..I went to ask a question nurse was looking at her phone I said excuse me 2x she never responded until she got done texting on her phone then she sat down and said yeah!!!! Then as our family member was taken outside and on the way in they said his name and talking about him and as they saw him with family members one pointed with her head and then nudged the other with elbow to stop talking...THIS PLACE IS A JOKE THEY TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR SO THEY CAN GET YOU OFF THEIR BACK!!!!! HORRIBLE CAN'T WAIT TO MOVE FAMILY MEMBER

My Mother stayed here for over a month when she broke her foot. She told me that she was really happy with the care she was given. She also had therapy for her injury while she was there. I am so glad she was taken good care of. I gladly recommend Kindred of Smith County to everyone.
