My mother is placed in NHC HealthCare, Athens. It's all right. They won't let you in there because of the coronavirus, but I talked to my mom through the window and what I saw was that everything's clean inside there. I went in the front upstairs to talk to the staff when I got her put in, and everybody was real nice. She eats their food. It's expensive though.

The staff is absolutely wonderful! I did not have to worry whatsoever about my father being at this facility. The staff is so caring, every one of them. If for any reason my father, any family member, friend, or myself needs any services they provide I would not hesitate to head directly back to NHC Athens and you should do the same. There is NO question about the best facilty of this type in the area.

this facility is a joke, they are under staffed patients sit in their feces and are not given liquids periodically some patients dehydrate and keep frequent UTI's the carpet in the rooms are filthy and all the Administrator and HR personal worries about is the physical therapy side of the hospital those that are on that side are treated like kings and queens while the permanent residence sit at times unattended..........when the state comes in to inspect things change on that side everything is neat and orderly they run around making sure that the patients are all ok and then once the inspection is over it goes right back to the way it was..........the state needs to talk to the family members even the patients about what goes on and not take the word of the Administrator or HR to me this facility is a 1 or 2 star not a 4 star and many improvements needs to be met. Patients can hardly eat the food most of the patients don't have teeth yet they are given under cooked vegetables that they can't chew therefore they go to bed hungry or sit all day without food.........this is a disgrace
