We were able to see Trail Ridge Senior Living Community and the tour was great. It was not anything that we scheduled. My mom and I had a friend that lived there, so we dropped in to see him and while were there. We decided to take a tour. They had a wonderful pool in like a recreational area that I was really impressed with. The dining room was wonderful, and the apartments were great. The only problem was that it was little bit too pricey for my mom. The staff was great. I think we looked at a one-bedroom or maybe a two-bedroom, and it seemed very spacious. The kitchen was wonderful. It had a lot of light. They had a variety of sizes for the apartments. They had a beauty salon, a wonderful dining room where they can choose to eat in or they can choose to cook in their own apartments. It seems like all the apartments had their own patios or a balcony. From what I can remember they had a parking area, and they also had garages.

I toured the independent living of Trail Ridge Senior Living Community. It's more upscale than the other places I have visited. I understand the difference, though, because you'd have to buy in to get a place at Trail Ridge. You have to sell your home before you can move into a place like that. I like the place and its facilities. They have a pool and other different stuff. There are a lot of stuff that you have to pay for too. Like if you need assistance getting dressed or taking a shower, you might have to pay somebody to help you out. They have a lot of programs. They do shopping trips and tours. They do bingo and a lot of different things in the program. It's a huge community. They have independent living, assisted living, and I think memory care. I didn't see the staff other than the gentleman who showed me the place. He's alright, and he knows his business.

I went to Trail Ridge Senior Living Community. It is super nice. I think it is, and I'll use the word luxurious loosely on this, but it was more high-class than the other facility. Not that the other facility wasn't nice, but Trail Ridge was just like that little bump up. Like if you want a very nice, high-class assisted living center, Trail Ridge is it. The apartments were very nice. Everything was up to date. Great view. If they had a deck or window, they all had nice views. That was the number one thing. I looked at it. The apartments themselves are super easy to get around. They came with appliances and I like that. The staff was awesome. She was fantastic. The facility was clean and everything. Trail Ridge is a lot bigger than the other facility, so for somebody like our grandma in a walker, it might be a little bit harder to get around just because it's a larger complex. They have a pond off one corner and a nice garden center for people to go and walk out. If they want to go for a walk and exercise, there's a nice little area out there for that. They also had onsite buses there. So, if there was something going on in the community, they could take some of the seniors out in the community with their bus or a van.

I toured Trail Ridge Senior Living Community. There was nothing that I could say I did not like about them. They were very courteous, and it was a very nice place. They showed a lot of interest in my dad, wondering how he was and what level of care he would need. The place was very clean and very modern. The atmosphere was very appealing. The rooms were very adequate. As far as room size for one person is concerned, it's adequate.

The management and billing at this facility has much room for improvement, staff working with residents have been good . Don’t believe what they tell you from marketing as they can live up to what they say. It is a nightmare getting billing to properly take care of billing. Watch extras like physical therapy no matter what care you request they will do what they want and then bill you for it. Then try to get with good care rehab billing department is a nightmare.

We had a nice tour of Trail Ridge for an hour and a half. It was a very nice place. I just wanted a one-bedroom apartment and that's what I looked at, and it was good. It was ten-feet wide, and it had a king size bed. It had a fireplace, but I don't need that taking up space. We'll just put my partner's office desk in front of it, and he can have that little den for his office. They had a four-lane pool and exercise places. The director was a very no nonsense, not full of himself guy. I usually test people by giving them a little joke and he took it, he laughed, he had a good time, and I had a good time. He introduced his helper saying, "She's been here 30 years and I've been here 13." I said, "I would have guessed it was the other way around judging by your gray hair," and he laughed. He said, "That's just to look dignified." Then we got along just fine. I really think he is a good man and a good director. He's very informational, very pleasant, and knows his stuff. It's a very nice place. Food is included there and you can either eat with people or you can eat in your room. We walked past their dining room and they were all sitting two people across from each other on a table for six with white tablecloths. They had not been served yet when we went. I came in at 4:30 and I left at 6:00, so I did not see people eating. They've got 17 acres, and it's well groomed. It's a nice building. The windows all face toward the interstate, which is further away, but they've got space where they can see and not be closed in.

We toured Trail Ridge Senior Living Community, and hopefully my sister will be ready to move in the next week or so. In the memory care, we were comfortable, and the staff was very engaged with the residents and very friendly to us. They made us feel like they were there because they wanted to be there. They had a nice calendar of activities, a pool, and a lovely courtyard areas. They were finishing a baking activity and heading to a music activity while we were there.

We visited Trail Ridge Senior Living Community. They gave us a bunch of information, and do all kinds of stuff. It's a very nice place. The rooms were very nice. It's a higher price, but it's nice. They showed us the recreation area, eating area, pool area. The staff seemed really friendly and inviting. They also had garden areas and outdoor areas.

My parents moved to TR independent living 5 1/2 years ago; my mother and aunt both now live in the Assisted Living area. The apartments/rooms are lovely and well-maintained; staff responds quickly to issues. My relatives have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff, and my interactions have always been positive. If I had concerns and brought them to upper level people, they were handled appropriately. Plenty of activities and lots of socialization going on. Even Assisted Living folks go out to eat as a group (if they want to) and have various entertainment coming in. Recent efforts with nearby Embe preschool are very popular with residents.

I am a relative of a resident who has been at TR for about 5 years. TR is failing those who are the older residents with their turn to marketing for the baby-boomers. A number of the lesser but essential services to the elderly have disappeared. They are more interested in having an award winning chef then they are interested in the taste-buds and opinions of the residents (a chef should never suggest a comment will result in spitting in your food even in jest). Looks nice but deceiving. A number of structural issues which result in flooding of rooms and dining area. Residents voices/opinions seem to be unimportant but more of a nuisance than guideline to good quality service. Dining room staff young, inexperienced with working with or eating habits of elderly (thus often rush residents taking plates prior to finish of meal).

After living there many years these people gave my relative 1 day's notice that she had to leave. We had noticed that the past two years the quality of care had slipped. Many inexperienced staff and several unprofessional incidents related to patient care. While the abrupt notice was shattering, we are thankful to have the family member in a better quality of care facility.

My parents had just been accepted at Trail Ridge. The place was good. I thought the rooms were spacious enough. I met a couple of staff -- which I interviewed with -- but they seemed friendly and knowledgeable. I was satisfied with it. They had some activities. They had exercises and entertainment.

My dad is going to Trail Ridge. We picked it because a very reliable friend recommended it. They have an opening, and they are a very nice facility. It is very peaceful, very calm, very clean, and organized. The staff is highly professional, very warm, and caring people. My dad will be in the memory care unit, and my mom is satisfied with the program that they describe to her.

The Trail Ridge Management is the most caring, helpful & loving people. The Units are very comfortable and reasonably priced. The wellness unit will be the very now that the pool is being built now.

The environment is like a church or family. We, as residents and guests, feel welcome and encouraged to enjoy each other and everything available. I appreciate the levels of care and activity, as well as the conscientious approach to dealings with residents.

My family and I visited Trail Ridge with my grandma. We were impressed with the facility when we entered. It was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. We were able to eat lunch there to get a feel for the place, and the food was excellent. Grandma was happy with 2 meals a day being included. While touring the facility we had several residents stop and talk to us. Since my grandma is a social person, it was nice to know she wouldn't have a problem meeting people at Trail Ridge. The apartments were spacious and very nice. The employee who gave us a tour was very knowledgable, and didn't rush us out even though we asked a lot of questions. I highly recommend Trail Ridge for a retirement community! It was top notch!

First of all, this retirement community is in a very quiet and safe area, that is obvious right away and is a major advantage. The facility is well taken care of both outside and in, another plus. The physical layout and the people made Trail Ridge very inviting. It was great that there were many different living spaces available to residents at different price ranges. There seemed to be enough options that everyone could find a place that suits them well. It is nice that this community offers both independent living apartments and assisted living apartments as well. From the residents we talked to and what we saw, the staff seems to really care about the residents and tries to do everything they can to accommodate them. There seems to be a lot of different activities for residents to partake in and we were told they get a say in activities as well. I think that is very important. The dining room had a good atmosphere and was not institutional in appearance at all which was nice to see. We were all impressed with the solarium room. There was plenty of light and comfortable furniture for gathering with others when too hot or cold to go outside. It was also nice that there was plenty of outdoor space as well so residents can go outside when they are able to. Over all, I would say that Trail Ridge was an impressive assisted living facility from my one visit. It seems to have more to offer than a lot of other facilities that I have toured.

This facility is reasonably priced and provides first class services to the residents. The basic package includes two hot meals, utilities, parking, storage, housekeeping, nursing care, amenities such as banking and library services with internet, shuttle service, organized games, exercise and PT, and a very caring staff. I would live there myself. It has more services for less cost than just about anything else around. I heartily recommend Trail Ridge. Other comparable facilities in the area are either more expensive, or attempt to lock in applicants like used car dealers.

This assisted living facility is one of the nicest of its kind. When I went to visit my grandmother here, I prepared myself to feel a little down about her living situation. However, once I stepped foot in this facility I was envious of where she lives! Living in this place is like living in a stately mansion where you get to interact with friendly people on a regular basis, where you have a staff to take care of many of your needs such as meal preparation, and where you can escape to peaceful parts of the property and gather your thoughts. The facility is very spacious, with lots of wonderful light shining in. Residents live in their own lovely private apartments, and the hallways are set up just like a normal apartment complex. There are plenty of common gathering spaces, and the day I visited my grandma several women were enjoying putting a puzzle together in a quiet corner of a common area. Further along my tour of the facility, we encountered a "Nintendo Wii" room where there was a rambunctious game of Wii bowling happening. It was so nice seeing elderly people hooked up to oxygen tanks having so much fun. They also have their own little movie theater and a fitness facility. My grandmother says the meals they prepare are delicious, and everyone is friendly. Families, especially families with small children, will feel comfortable visiting loved ones here. The atmosphere is upbeat and there is plenty to explore. I cannot recommend this place enough-I would move here in a heartbeat if the situation called for it.

I can hardly tell you what a positive change came over my father when he moved to Trail Ridge! After my mother died he started to back away from social interaction and seemed to care about life less and less. When he moved to Trail Ridge, he not only got his life back, but he really began to thrive. He started painting, joined in on many of the activities and made lots of new friends. This is a great place!!

TRAIL RIDGE HAS BEEN AN IDEAL PLACE FOR ME TO LIVE. I HAVE BEEN HERE 3.5 YEARS AND FIND IT TO BE MORE THAN I EXPECTED FROM A RETIREWMENT HOME.
