My father is in Good Samaritan Society Luther Manor, and he seems to like it. The staff has been very responsive over the phone. He likes his room, and he says it's very bright and well lit. There are lots of natural light, which he likes a lot. He likes the food, and he said it is very good. The resident doctor is very good, responsive, and has been especially helpful. Also, the Social Services director has been really helpful in figuring out the financial issues and all of that.

If I could write a review with no stars - that is what I would do. My father has been in this facility for several months and our entire family has been disappointed. They were administering the incorrect prescription which caused a significant decline in his condition. His bathroom goes uncleaned for days with diarrhea all over the toilet; our father has fallen out of chairs and his bed and they admit after they find him on the floor that they don't know how long he has been there. Upon a return visit later in the day, we watched in horror as our father had found his way to the edge of the dining room and watched as several staff walked past him without so much as a word to him or to provide him assistance back to his room. The Director has been made aware of various deficiencies in the way the home is managed and her only response is - "let us help you pack. " They have no desire to improve the care or living conditions for the residents. If you can - place your loved ones somewhere else.
