We have moved into Holiday Hills Estates. This is a very nice clean place. The personnel are very good. They have good food, and they're very cooperative. It's just a nice place. The personnel are very good here, and they have nice apartments. We're in a two-bedroom apartment, and it's got quite a bit of room to it. Everybody is very congenial here. I would recommend it to anybody who didn't want the medical services. They offer three meals a day. They have a bus service to take you to any place in Rapid City. The personnel especially are nice. They have a lot of activities and entertainment. They're very good at that. They're a good outfit, but we're trying to get into something a little more economical. I recommend it. It's for people who just want to live on their own. They are hooked up with some company here that if somebody needs extra help, they can hire a person to stay with them in the daytime. We're on the edge of the Black Hills, and we have a beautiful view of the mountains right out of our windows.

Holiday Hills Estates was way beyond my budget. The staff was beyond anything that I ever could imagine. They were nice to me. Even when it was determined that I couldn't afford it, they still talked to me. It was a pleasurable experience. You could eat off the floor. They have their own dining hall. One social worker I talked to said she got to have lunch there and said that the food was better than most restaurants she had been in.

I went to Holiday Hills Estates. I liked the way the community looked, and the facilities were very nice. The people were very friendly. What I liked the least was that when we walked down one long hallway, it had a bad odor. It had a bad smell, and that wasn't good. Regarding the staff, they were very nice and very friendly, so nothing wrong there. The building looked beautiful. I was very impressed with the building. But there was an odor in the hallway, and the staff told me it was because of the trash that had piled up in one room, and it smelled like it had been there a long time. The place was very large, and it had a lot of people there. I came in when lunch had already been served and people were starting to leave already from the lunchroom. I wondered whether I would get to know anybody because there were just so many people there. It was kind of intimidating because it was so big, but other than that, they were very friendly. And the size of the room was good.

I toured Holiday Hills Estates. One thing I didn't like is they have no way to get out of a three-story building other than one elevator. The rooms were too small and there was no kitchen. I'm looking for a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen. The staff was good.

I had a tour of Holiday Hills Estates. I thought it was very nice. There is a room that I really like. I'm just still having difficulty with my husband not wanting to go. But all the amenities were very, very nice. The rooms were very nice and clean. They have a small refrigerator. No stove. But all the meals were included in the price. The person who took me around was very willing to answer all my questions. She suggested that I bring my husband in for a meal, but we have not done that because my husband just wants to stay where he is.

My visit to Holiday Hills Estates was very good. Brittney, the sales manager, was very helpful, gave us an extensive tour, and introduced us to some of the people that live there. She did a really good job. The rooms were very nice. I did not try the food at all but she showed us the menu where they have a choice of three different entrees per meal. They had a TV room, and a room that's like a library with board games and things. They do movie nights where they have a popcorn machine and stuff.

I had an in-person tour of Holiday Hills Estates. It was a very nice tour. I liked the activities and the fact that a lot of the apartments had balconies. The staff members were very accommodating and friendly. They have pretty much everything you would expect, I guess. They had a kitchenette but no stove, a small refrigerator, a courtyard, kind of an exercise room, I mean, they had some exercise equipment by a pool table. I liked the fact that there's more independence and less interference. They don't have someone checking on you all the time.

Holiday Hills Estates was fine. We enjoyed the tour. They have activities, meals, a beauty shop, traveling, and a car available for transportation. The rooms were OK.

I toured Holiday Hills Estate for my uncle. It was clean and friendly. Everybody seemed pretty attentive to the needs and wants in the facility. We took a tour of two of the apartments that they have. They were very simple, spacious, and handicapped accessible. Depending on if you were on the bottom floor, you could walk out to a little small patio. If you were on the second floor, you had a little walk out patio area that you could sit in the morning to have your coffee or whatever; they were nice and very inviting. It was homey. They have a little exercise room, a little library, a little entertainment room where they can play games and so forth. They have a little movie room where they have movies. There is a big dining room for everybody to come and eat their meals.

We're moving my brother to Holiday Hills Estates in Rapid City. The place is nice, has nice independent living apartments, and it was what he needed. They clean up the apartments and change the carpet, and that's really good. The only thing that I can see is that the carpeting in the entryway probably is going to need to be replaced pretty soon. Their staff is nice, they're helpful, and friendly. They don't have a pool though. It would be nice if they did. It's in a northern climate, so I don't know that any of them have pools up here. They have a nice courtyard, a salon, and a gym. The surroundings are nice too. There's a lot of trees and everything. You're not just looking at another set of buildings.

My stepdad is at Holiday Hills Estates. For the most part, we have had a good experience. The staff is friendly. The rooms are nice, clean, and appropriate. There is an exercise room and billiards, and they play bingo and stuff like that.

My friend moved into Holiday Hills Estates last Friday. They were very friendly and very helpful. The employees were great and helped with everything. They helped with the television setup, and they offered her the help button. Any time we called them, they've been very helpful. Her room is beautiful, completely remodelled, painted, new carpet, and just ready for me to move her stuff into. She gets three meals a day. Her appetite is down, so she doesn't always eat them, but I think it's OK. It's a very clean facility, and they're just very good at getting you in touch with the services that you need.

My mother is doing great at Holiday Hills Estates. She's helping with entertainment, playing the piano, and she's very excited about it. Her apartment is clean, and she seems very happy with the food. The staff is very nice and very helpful. There's a movie room, a shuttle that takes them places, a beauty parlor, a library, and a chapel.

My 91 year old mother has been living at Holiday Hills for about 6 weeks now. She loves it and, after visiting a few days, I can see why. The staff is friendly and responsive; the grounds are clean and safe; and the meals and selections are very good. Her room has lots of windows providing lots of sunshine and a balcony to enjoy the outdoors. The facility also provides ample opportunities to socialize with other tenants as much or as little as you want. My mother enjoys playing Bingo and cards with her friends, and Dancing Friday nights. Another big plus is Holiday Hills provides transportation as well as scheduled bus trips! My mom loves the bus ride through the Black Hills. We highly recommend checking out Holiday Hills before you decide; we're happy we did!

This community truly cares about the residents that live there and they encourage family not only to visit, but to sit and have a meal with your loved one. This community gave my dad a great place to live and play.

Holiday Hills was fine, but there wasn’t much to do and everybody just sat around. The rooms were small but OK. I saw the dining room, and it was fine, too.

As far as the environment of Holiday Hills Estates, it felt very caring and comforting that they deliver high-quality care for the people who live there. They offer various events and programs and transfer the residents to and from events that interest them. They also play bingo and have various brain stimulating events. If there is something that’s currently not on their schedule, it can be added, so there’s a lot of flexibility. Their event program coordinator, who we met, is very accommodating, very caring, and understands the importance of activities for the residents.

My in-laws settled on Holiday Hills Estates. When they first went for the interview to meet the coordinators, the tour was very professional. The staff is very pleasant and very helpful. They love having three meals a day and the camaraderie. It is a retirement center but also like assisted living because it has meals and housekeeping. They have an activity center and different things to do every day and a bus that takes them to town or to and from doctors' appointments. They also have birthday celebrations. They do have a lot of activities for them to participate in. There is a church that does services, a barber shop, and a beauty salon.

I like the friendly staff at Holiday Hills. They were accommodating in providing my mother-in-law with furniture and getting things set up before we could bring her stuff over. The rooms are nice and bright, they have lots of storage space, and everything is like new. The dining room is big. THere, they go around with carts of food and give you choices of entrees and desserts. I know that they have music and Bible study on Fridays. Somebody comes and plays music, which my mother-in-law enjoys a lot.

The food is very good, and the rooms are nice. The staff is very nice. They have dancing and Bingo, and that is only thing I can name right offhand. The overall atmosphere of Holiday Hill is nice. It is homey and fine. My son is in there.
