My mom is staying in the United Living Community. She has been there for two and a half years now. It's a very good place. It's clean and nice. My mom has a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom. They do not provide meals though. She has to pay for Meals on Wheels. And they don't have any activities. We don't see much of the staff or anything because it's independent living. They have a common area and laundry. They can do their laundry there. My mom is enjoying her time there. I think she's getting a lot for what she's paying.

Our experience with United Living Community has been very good. They've been very good about sending out group texts and keeping everybody informed about what's going on inside and what they're doing as far as following the recommendations of the CDC. Any time there has been potential exposure or anything like that they're very transparent about it, so I've been very happy with them. My mother's very happy with the food; they have good variety. In comparison to other places that eventually got back to me, I found that their price was less than the majority of other places.

I am in United Living Center right now. What bothers me is that the rates have taken away benefits. However, the staff is pretty good. I am now in a room that had a view of a brick wall, but I am getting one that the view will be out over a park. If you want to, they have some meals, and most of them are pretty good. They are one of the few institutions that know how to cook liver and onions. They have the university singer come, and we go down for coffee every afternoon. I will say my experience with them, basically, is pretty good. Other than, I do not like the things they take away, but under the circumstances, I guess they do not have any choice.
