My experience with Francine and Nathan and all the other staff has been exceptional. They have provided prompt and excellent service for my husband. The staff is friendly, pleasant, caring and polite. The environment is welcoming, and the facility is well kept and clean, and the meals are prepared well with a variety of options on their menu. My husband's room is spacious and bright and is well maintained with a good weekly housekeeping service. The staff does an excellent job in keeping the residents engaged in games, exercise classes and a variety of other activities.

We toured Spring Oak York. They were very accommodating. We had a situation where my father would go into another home. We were in a time crunch to get my father somewhere to live. They jumped right on us. They helped us every step of the way. They're a very nice facility.

The director was very nice and knowledgeable but the facility itself wasn’t nice like I was told. There’s 3 separate buildings with 1 kitchen so they take containers of food to each building, it wasn’t very clean and it smelled like urine. As for the rooms one was spacious and the other was only big enough for a bed. I didn’t speak to the residents but a hi how are but they looked miserable. I just didn’t get a good vibe.

I toured here and that's the one we want. There were several buildings and my brother is going to have to take a double-occupied room for the price and have a roommate. The double occupancy room was very nice. It had two beds and two recliners, a big closet for each of their clothes, and a bathroom that had a shower step over that was low. I didn't go all the way into the room because a resident was in there. She was nice, but I didn't want to invade her privacy too much. The lady that gave the tour was very nice. It was raining that day, but she still went out and showed me the rooms and two double rooms where my brother would be living, one or the other. She's a young lady and she was very helpful and toured me through all the dining rooms and where they have a church service. I observed them playing bingo, some were playing cards, and some were listening to a speaker (I think it was a minister). Almost everybody was out of their rooms doing something, watching TV. Everybody was up, dressed, and active. Some were sitting out on the porch before it got too hot. There are several dining areas and they were nice. There's one per building. So the residents would go to the dining room in their building and they were set up with tablecloths, napkins, and silverware. It's very well decorated. They had the menu up on the bulletin board and it looked very clean. The food smelled good. I looked at the menu and I thought it looked good, too. So I think my brother would have been satisfied there. I liked the personnel. He was interviewed with the head of caretaking and the head of the home and they were very nice to him. They were very well-spoken and seemed like they wanted him and were welcoming to him. The other technicians walking around were helpful if we needed to push the wheelchair somewhere.

It was clean. It didn't smell funny and the residents seemed friendly. They were eating when I was there, and the food looked and smelled good. I met the financial woman and one nurse, and I liked both of them. They had WiFi, a salon, and exercises that they did together in the common rooms. What I didn't like about it was it was not near dialysis, and my sister needs dialysis.

I toured here. I saw the assisted living and the memory care facility. It's beautiful, spotless, clean, and a very personable staff. I didn't get to see a lot of the activities because they were getting ready to have a Valentine's party. As far as the room, I saw a couple of rooms that were furnished, and they're the basic rooms. The patients did have their own furniture and pictures in their rooms. With memory care, they did not have bathrooms or showers there inside. They're very nice rooms. They're good for what they need. I didn't get to see a room over at the assisted living because I was more looking at the memory care. I did get to see the lobby and some of that like their dining room and things like that. They have a salon. I did see their TV room, which is where they do arts and crafts over the memory care side. It was clean, and it didn't smell like pee. The staff were all very nice.
