My father just left the rehab side after many weeks of therapy. We had a great experience. The nurses were all very attentive and kind. They came whenever Dad needed them and always answered any questions I had with a smile. The therapists there are wonderful. Dad went in not even being able to sit up by himself and came out of there walking around 90 steps before tiring and needing to sit down. They all gathered around my Dad when we were leaving and hugged him and wished him well. Everyone we came across in his stay from the woman who does the laundry, the ladies that help clean them up and give them baths, the cafeteria staff, to the office staff were ALL so helpful, kind and truly seem to care about their patients. It's not the newest and best facility as far as how it looks but its clean, smells fine, and is filled with caring people and that was all that mattered to us. Thank you Simpsonville Rehab and healthcare for caring for my father and truly caring for his well being. You DO make a difference!

The facility only houses Residents; they are not in the business of actually offering "compassionate care". Employee interactions are not sincere. They are one way in your face; when you aren't present and if things should go awry, they will turn a "blind eye" to your loved one in addition to troublesome Residents by not reporting their actions or intervening to ensure the safety of other Residents. Our mother was subjected to a Resident defecating on her pillow while she was in her bed and we are not aware if this was a "recurring" incident. Because some of the Residents share an adjoining bathroom, she was seen by one of the Social Services Administrators leaving our mother's room and witnessed the feces on her pillow but did not report it and only mentioned the incident to my sister because she was visiting at that time. She was aware that this particular Resident was allowed to do whatever she wants as she stated this. When my sister inquired about the pillowcase with the Laundry Facilities Employees, they appeared sheepish and only said that they do not know how the pillowcase was soiled as it was only brought to them to clean. Our mother is immobile and does not communicate verbally. The Facility Employees are not consistent in calling family when incidents occur. Her husband visited her and noticed a dime-sized bruise under her left eye. When he inquired about it, the staff mentioned that she "fell out of bed". There have been incidents where the Employees have fought and have had to be dismissed, as witnessed by another Resident and relayed to my sister. Our mother was admitted to the Facility in July 2024 with a horrific hand-sized bedsore that was acquired and not tended to while she was in the care of her husband. She was released from the Facility in November 2024 with an ADDITIONAL bedsore and pneumonia. This goes to prove that she was not being cared for properly as the nurses informed us that the initial bedsore was not healing. We do not recommend this Facility for your loved one as the Employees are not actually carrying out their job as they have been hired to do. ***PLEASE at all costs, find another Facility as this one is not on-point. Speaking/sharing from experience.

Place is very dirty, patient rehab is very marginal, place is depressing with no outside views from rooms unless you look at buildings 7 feet away or car bumpers. Inside room AC is like a hotel room, broken and hanging down. Shame Prisma uses this place.

Do not ever let your family members go to this establishment. My family member is not receiving the care as stated on website. When you approach a member of the staff they do not seem to be concerned about the well being of the patient they have entrusted to their care. They will simply state that this is not their patient and that the nurse assigned is on break. May get fed or maybe they won’t if they are unable to feed themselves. Therapy is a freaking joke. No responsibility taken on their part, whatsoever. Family member will be removed from their care as soon as possible. Also the place is not very well monitored to visitors. Walked in without signing in and no one questioned why I was there or who I was visiting. Room was not very appealing and be prepared for family member to have roommate with no privacy at all. Was very generous to rate them with a 1 star.

My dad was at Simpsonville Rehab for rehab. The place was clean and well-maintained. It was good. The nurses were fine, but some of the aides weren't up to par. The food was average; it was nothing outstanding. They have some activities, but my dad was not involved in any of it.

My mother was a resident here for 3 years. Overall care was good. You must remember this is not one on one care. There were some great nurses and cna that went above and beyond for mother. We did have issues but most were resolved quickly and to our satisfaction.

My sister was in Diamond Health for rehab after a broken hip. They were really great, but I think they let her go too soon. The food looked very appetizing, and my sister ate everything. Sanitation is A-plus. The staff was very personable and seemed to care about the patients. I definitely recommend this facility to others.
