We like it because it’s a smaller place. Some of them that we have been involved in before at another state were pretty large. We like Belvedere Commons. It is a little more intimate. My dad seems to really like the meals. He gets three very fulfulling meals a day. The staff is very caring. They are there to respond when we call. They’re responsive and caring. It takes awhile to try and get adjusted, but he understands that this is the best place for him for the good of all the family.

I had an in-person tour of Belvedere Commons of Seneca. The person who showed me around was very nice. She showed me the rooms that were available and the memory care unit. She showed me how many people were in a room. I got to see their dining facility, and it looked fine. It was nicely kept. I didn't have any complaints about them. Their prices looked reasonable. I would really consider them for my mother. It's close to us, like a half-mile down the road, so it would have been an ideal spot. It was just a nice facility. The rooms aren't locked up, but the area is a little more restricted. The memory care has individual rooms, but it's a small area. There was a big common area with a TV and a bunch of chairs around it. All the rooms open up to the common area. They had a nice, big kitchen.

I had a family member who was at Belvedere Commons of Seneca. He was in the memory care area and it was very poorly run. The administrator was not qualified. The staff (I don't know if they don't pay them enough or what) were not professional. They're poorly trained and we worried about proper medication being given. The administrator, and the nurse as well, didn't accept the suggestions or concerns that we had. They were unwilling to deal with any of it. The meals were small portions. There's not much of a variety and certainly no choice whatsoever. They don't take good care of the facility. They have a gazebo that mostly people go out to and sit, and it was like falling apart. It looked terrible. The furniture was all broken down. There's paint that needs to be redone. There are rotting doors that haven't been repaired. The activities were also terrible. They need to get their act together over there. If they had a good administrator, I think given some money and somebody who knows what they were doing, that place could be nice. It's a very nice property, but it's just so poorly maintained and managed. We've tried contacting the ownership that's in Florida and they do not respond.

I toured here. It was a very positive experience. The lady that I met was very helpful. The establishment was very clean. It was outstanding. The rooms were private ones. They were having a shopping tour, and they were going to go see Christmas lights the week that we came. The staff was telling me about the events that were having. There was an actual bingo game going on when we got there. They had a lot of different activities that they were planning for the residents, and that was just not for the Christmas season. She gave me like a calendar to look and see everything. They have coffee hour. They showed me the menu of what they were going to offer. They were saying that if it was something that the resident didn't want, they can choose from different things.

They had a good atmosphere. It was clean and the woman that took us around was very nice. All the people that lived there, knew her and she was good with them. The staff was great, very friendly, personable, and wonderful. The place looked good, it's clean and they had a place to go out and sit. They had a turtle that they watched. The only thing is that they could use a little more shade outside because it gets so hot here and humid so I would have wanted a little more shade like umbrellas or something.

The staff here was very nice and very helpful. I particularly saw their dining room setup, and it was very nice. I did not eat any of the food there. I really liked Belvedere Commons because they had a lot of independent living, in addition to assisted living. I only met one person, and she was extremely nice and great to work with. They were extremely clean. They seemed to have a lot of activities available. They had a TV room and courtyards. It's a little off of a main road, and there were places to go that were not very far away. It's relatively close to a hospital and doctors' offices.

We like it. We are currently on the wait list. It was a really nice tour. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. It is a nice size and it has everything we need. It has a private garage and there are three meals a day. It looked very clean, and everything looked neat and trimmed outside.

We had gone here. I visited both assisted living and independent living. We're still on a list there for a villa. One came up, but we declined. We're just not ready yet. It has a home-like atmosphere in assisted living. It's very clean. I like the way that the rooms were set up. The villas were lovely in independent living. You could have your own little garden space in front. The rooms were bright and open. The kitchens were lovely. You could walk into the garage from the kitchen area. It seemed peaceful. The staff was very welcoming.

It was amazing. The staff was wonderful, the lady who gave me the tour was wonderful, and the staff in the hallways stopped and talked to me. There was a special guy in the memory care who stopped and talked to me and to my mother. This was the only place we went to where they really talked to my mom. They had church services for them, games, and crafts. I loved the daily calendar that they had up. It was very clean. I couldn’t say enough about the places and the rooms.

I think that the grounds inside and the size of the place were very impressive. It seemed nicer than most of the other places that I saw. The rooms seemed a little bigger, although the square footage was comparable and the layout was just a little different. It is in the top two on my list. The amenities were very impressive, and there were a lot of activities for the residents, both in and out of house. A week prior to my visit, they had taken them up to the South Carolina Mountains to view the leaves and changing of the season. It was not just an outing to the mall, so they seemed to have a very active program.

It is very nice, and the rooms are very nice and very clean. The staff is very friendly. The dining room is very nice and has menus, so if you don’t want what’s there, you tell them, and they will fix you something different. Some of the people there have small dogs with them. Pets are allowed as long as the residents are able to take care of them.

They are good and clean but very limited; they don't have a pool or many activities. I think it serves a wonderful purpose for this community, though. It is a nice place, and I know a number of people that had been at Belvedere Commons that have been taken care of fine. It is not what my husband and I want at this point in time. We are very active still, and so that's why we were looking for a community that has a lot of resources.

It was an absolutely excellent facility with great people. I did not have any complaints. They served three meals a day, and they offered snacks any time of the day. The food was really good.

The staff here was very friendly. The lady that showed me around was very nice and very informative. The rooms seemed nice, but it was a shared room and that I didn't like. There was not much privacy with shared rooms.
