My sister was at PruittHealth Moncks Corner, and my brother was there too. He had his leg amputated and he was there. My sister was very weak, and she spent some time in the hospital. There was a young lady in the room, and we were all standing in the room with her. She'd put my sister on the end of the bed, then stood her up, and told her to put her clothes on, but my sister couldn't. Being that she's a sibling, my other sister reached out and helped her up. My sister was in isolation because she came out of the hospital, so they had her in isolation. Her room didn't have a real smell to it or anything. It was decent. My brother was in general population for lack of a better term; that's when you were with everybody else. When you walk in the facility, you can smell urine or feces right off the bat. Literally, it zaps you upfront. There were holes in the wall, too. It's just a bad facility. I didn't try the food, but my brother swore it's the worst thing he's ever eaten, and my sister didn't like it at all. Both have the same complaint about having to go to the bathroom, and both were waiting literally an hour before somebody responded. Normally they've already messed themselves or whatever they sat on for a long period of time, because nobody would respond to the calls. They've got a courtyard. I've never seen anybody in the courtyard. You would see a lot of folks kind of rolling themselves with one leg in a wheelchair. There were a lot of people doing that in the hallway. It was just awful. When my brother was there, there was a lady that would just keep the doors open, and there was another lady that would just roll her chair into the room and look at him.

I thought the place was smelly and depressing, but the caretakers were friendly and did their best to make my grandmother feel as at home as possible. The facilities were well-kept and there was even a garden courtyard. Magnolia Manor has sinced changed its name and ownership several times
