My Mother was a resident at this facility. Staff is amazing, kind, like family. The level of care is just above and beyond. Did not meet any resident that didn’t love it. Activities, trips, live music. Just an unbelievable place. The only complaints from most residents was they wish they had came there sooner. Just an amazing place.

Emerald Gardens of Greenwood Assisted Living & Memory Care is a beautiful facility. There were no bad odors. It smelled really good. Everybody was friendly. The staff was wonderful. I was very impressed with everything. The only thing was, it was a bit pricey an the rooms were a bit smaller. They had a library and an outdoor space.

My mom is now at Emerald Gardens of Greenwood Assisted Living & Memory Care. So far, it's been very good. They're very wonderful. They've been good to Mom. She seems happy there. It just felt like home. So far, the food is very good. My mom has access to a hair salon on campus. She also has podiatry coming in to take care of her nails for her. They have all kinds of activities including gospel singalongs. They have a lot of different preachers coming in to do prayer service with them. They also have bingo and crafts. They even took my mom on an outing out to lunch with a group of ladies one day this week. The place is very clean and very warm. It's an inviting environment, and all the people seem to be very friendly. I think it's a good value for money.

We went to see Emerald Gardens of Greenwood Assisted Living & Memory Care and it was good. The staff was very knowledgeable, everything was good, and it was a very nice place. Their rooms were a typical space, they're a little over 500 square feet, small rooms, but you get everything you need in it. We didn't eat there but the food smelled good. They were having a couple come in to do a sing-along with a piano and singing, but we didn't stay for that. The atmosphere looked good, it was kept up and looked neat. Overall, they're up to par, and they have everything going for them including laundry, doctors, and hairdressers. Everything that you needed would be there. Although parking was a little iffy.

My aunt moved into Emerald Gardens of Greenwood Assisted Living & Memory Care. The facility is really clean. The people are all friendly. It is just a really nice place, and it's close to home. They are very friendly to the family members. They answer questions, explain things, and are just helpful. My aunt says the food is good. They do crafts. They have people come in to sing. They have Bible study and exercise. They do a good job of keeping the residents busy. My aunt's room is clean and well-kept. They take care of my aunt and take her to her appointments.

I toured Emerald Gardens of Greenwood Assisted Living & Memory Care. It's a nice place. It's clean, and it seems to have sufficient staff. It seems like a very good place. The room that I saw, which was their smallest room, appeared to be larger than the room in the assisted living that my former husband is in now. It is more than adequate. The room is unfurnished, and where he is now, it is furnished, so I would have to get furniture for him, and that's a downside. I did not see the salon, but I do understand that they have one and that they have someone for both men and women; I would not have to take him to a barber, that can be done right there. They also have a podiatrist that comes in every three months, and that's a plus. They have a little library there.

Emerald Gardens of Greenwood Assisted Living & Memory Care was nice. It's just that when you walked in the door, there was no one to greet you. I had to wait. Another gentleman was also waiting for someone to come out. During the tour, there were no residents out. I saw minimum staff, and the most staff I saw was in the kitchen area. The lady who toured me around was nice. I didn't have any problem with her nor the facility as a whole. It was more or less the fact that I just didn't see any residents. I didn't see any kind of interaction that would give me some idea of how the people living there felt, but the rooms were nice. They had a nice little area when you first walked in, and a calendar of activities they posted.

We're planning to move my mom to Emerald Gardens of Greenwood. They seem to have everything she needs. It was a nice place and the people were nice. Everything seemed nice and put together. The staff I met during my visit were nice. The assisted living facility was neat and clean. I saw a patio, a salon, and a cafeteria.

Emerald Gardens is a first rate facility with an unbelievably friendly and capable staff! I am so glad my Mom and Dad are in such a nice place and are happy. This is something I had worried about for some time but when we found Emerald Gardens, all the worry went away!

Exceptional value. The staff is so professional and caring. Always willing to go the extra mile! Makes my aunt feel like she is their top priority. They help to make the transition from independent living from ones own home to assisted living as easy as possible. My aunt feels so welcomed and at home there. Willing to be flexible with my aunt’s late night / late sleeping schedule and adapt their schedule accordingly. Delicious and varied menu. Even will substitute a sandwich or bowl of soup if a particular meal “doesn’t sound good that day”. Spacious rooms and allow individuals to make their personal touches to make their room their own. Weekly activities (crafts, movies, ice cream sundaes, hot chocolate and cookies, outside entertainment, mani /pedi days, city outings including lunches out and seasonal tours, in-house beauty salon). Activities are so enjoyable and encourage new friendships. Keep facilities and individual rooms spotless. Provide on-demand laundry services and keep resident’s items completely segregated. Handling of the COVID pandemic has been exceptional and greatly appreciated. Even have offered beauty salon services (wash and cut) by EG staff during outside salon personnel entry restricted while facility under “lockdown “. Offers option of staff physician. Provides transportation to and from medical appointments. Manages prescriptions and administer medications. Keeps family well informed and hosts opportunities for family participation in holiday events.

Emerald Gardens is more than an assisted living. It is home to the residents living there, and the warmth is felt as soon as you walk through the front door. The staff and residents become family. While capably performing their duties, the staff spends time with the residents, displaying care and an interest in them personally. Physical and medical needs are met efficiently. Rooms are cleaned and laundry washed and dried frequently. Fun activities are offered for anyone wanting to join in. Meals can accommodate even the pickiest of eaters. And during this COVID-19 pandemic, every safety precaution has been taken to ensure everyone’s safety. Our family, especially our aunt, was truly blessed when we found Emerald Gardens. It is comforting to know that she is happy, safe, and well cared for, living in a comfortably sized room, surrounded by her own favorite furnishings and by people who care.

My mom is a resident and she loves living there. My mother has been there at least 7 years and considers it her home. She loves the staff, interaction with the other residents and all the activities. The food is good and served in a timely manner. I thank God for a beautiful place where my mother is very happy. Thank you Emerald Gardens for taking such good care of my mother.

My mother is a resident here in the memory care. They have gone above and beyond my expectations. Communication is good with the facility staff, my mom is safe and happy, and I am able to rest easy knowing she is in great hands. Even with COVID going on I feel safe with her being there because of the protocols they have in place to keep the residents and employees safe. I would recommend this assisted living to anyone who asked, they are great.

The staff has attended to my loved one’s needs beautifully and even during the pandemic. They’re in constant contact with me. They have gone out of their way to help me “visit” at the window. The med tech staff as well as the nurse are genuinely caring and knowledgeable. I am grateful for the level of care we are receiving.

Emerald Gardens of Greenwood is beautiful. They have a lot of activities. They have bingo, and they have a band come playing. They have a nice cafeteria. They have the right kind of food that my mother is supposed to eat. The rooms are nice, clean, and kept up. The staff is nice and friendly. There are a lot of things they do for her. The community is well kept up. My mother loves it there.

My father was there in May on a 2 week stay. (my father used no devices to walk, ate on his own, showered on his own very independent) On the second week went to go visit him in the evening and he did not seem ok asked to speak to someone and a girl with a stethoscope came in and said he was fine. I had mentioned he sounded congested she listened to his chest hit him on his back and said he was all clear. After we let the next morning I could not rest so I went there grabbed my dad and took him to GHS he was in full kidney failure ,pneumonia and had lost 12lbs. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVED THERE oh and they also put in diapers which he has never worn in his life. We have been going thru a lot of struggles since this and he has been hospitalized for 9 weeks after that now we are going into rehab they are horrible I would not let them watch my dog

I went and looked at Emerald Gardens. This one I can’t say I was impressed with. It was alright, but I don’t think they have any apartment, and the rooms weren’t all that large. It is an older facility and they did make a point of saying that they’re in the process of updating it. However, for what I want, it is not what I would choose. They were pleasant as far as the tour that they gave us, but what I saw didn’t really suit my wants. The facility was clean. The location was good; it was also near a hospital.

She is at Emerald Gardens, and it is a very nice and caring facility. Along the time that my mother has been there -- which has been a short time -- they were in the process of remodeling, so they've done some updates throughout the activity area, the dining room area, and along the common areas also. The staff communicates with me, and I live in Georgia, so my mother's assisted living is in her hometown, and they have no problems communicating back and forth with me. And the director -- if I had any questions -- he'll either send me a text message or call me. They've been very cooperative. Their med-tech has worked with me hand-in-hand through my phone just to make sure that my mom is acclimating to the facility. My mom didn't move in until March, but we started setting up her room in February, so we spent the daytime there. I got to see things that were going on, and everything seemed to be fine. I've been to visit my mom several times since then at all different times of the day, and everything seems fine. My mom has family there that goes often, and they haven't seen anything out of the ordinary. For the activities, they have several different common areas that provide the fireplace area and two other places. At one area -- which is more of a nicer area -- they would have like churches come in or choirs that come in or just a group that organizes time with them that do singing there. They also have Bible studies there. There are different preachers that come, and I guess they alternate Sundays depending on who is assigned that day. They have outings on the bus, and they go to the local Walmart, Rite Aid, or Kmart, but they also have assigned activities or outings that they do, and as I understand it, it is going to get broader in the warmer months. They also play a variety of games; the biggest deal for seniors is Bingo, but in different areas and depending on where, there are like two activities, and they have tables set up so the residents can do crossword-puzzles or board puzzles. They have laze trails -- as they call them -- where the activity director will walk them down the hallways, and it is like an exercise. There are a lot of activities going on. It was a big deal for me because I am a Certified Nurse Assistant, and I wanted to know where my mom was staying and what was going on, so I did my homework. In all honesty, I would give it a five. We've been over-the-top excited. We visited several places, and we felt more at home and comfortable at Emerald Gardens.
