My aunt moved into (Promedica) Heartland Health Care Center-Greenville West. They've been very great with her care, and they're communicating very well with the family. They've taken good care of her. The staff is very attentive and very caring. I think they do have activities, but she's not at the point where she can do any of them. It's not real modern, but it's clean. They have basic rooms, they just have the basic necessity that you have/ that one person needs. It's only a mile from her sister, and five minutes from downtown.

Pain medication often delayed 12 hours after proscribed time to be given. 10 days in rehab, room not cleaned once, bathroom never cleaned.

My mother is at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation (Greenville West) (formerly Heartland). It's not too good so far. She's been there for a couple of weeks and the day she went in, she was diagnosed with COVID, so she hasn't even been out of her room until yesterday. They had her quarantined, which I can understand. She has had no therapy until now. The staff has been nice. I like her nurse. She has a really good nurse. Her room is nice. She said the food is the best thing about the place. We haven't seen anything in the place except for her room. I know they have activities, but she hasn't been able to participate in any of them yet. I know there's a calendar in her room that tells what activity is going to be going for the day and they have the calendar in her room for the month to show what days they do certain things. They were pleasant. They accepted her willingly and she didn't have a problem with any of them and we didn't either. They were very nice. They came straight to her when she got there and took her to her room. It's very expensive.

My brother is at ProMedica Skilled Nursing And Rehabilitation (Greenville West). I think the place could be kept a little bit cleaner. The amenities are just dated but they're in decent shape. The rooms are tough, but the overall work ethics and them trying to help him has been pretty good. There are just some things that are lacking. The staff do fairly well, but it's not what I would consider excellent care. I've been there several times when they've brought meals, and some food just doesn't look very good. My brother says it doesn't taste very good.

This place is a dump. Four (4) people have to share a bathroom. There are only a handful of staff members there that do their jobs and care about their patients. The rest of them suck. They are unresponsive and ignore calls for help. My husband has had to wait so long for a bedpan that he has soiled himself many times. They rarely get his diet right. My husband asked for some water this morning and he was waiting for 4 hours. He tested positive for Covid and they told him that he didn’t catch it there. Then why are there other cases of Covid there before him? They put a large bin next to his bed to capture everything ( linens, diapers, bed pans, food items, etc.) before removing them from the room. Well, the bin is overflowing and piling up on the floor. Someone was afraid to come into his room, and basically threw a soda can onto his bed. If someone doesn’t want to deal with ill patients, they should choose a different profession. Also, he is in a room with an 84 year old man who tested negative, but they are keeping him in the same room. When I questioned this, I was told because he’s already there. The only thing decent are the therapists and a few other staff members. As I said earlier, most of them can’t be bothered. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
