I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

I have been in and out of this facility as a guest to some of the residents for many years. I know that this isn't a perfect facility, as there isn't one anywhere but the staff has worked diligently to get my loved one on track so that they would be able to return home. I have enjoyed random visits and have always found my loved one in a clean, well maintained environment. I would recommend Honorage as they have proven numerous times that the care for their residents are the number one priority. Thank You all for your dedication.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My grandmother and father-in-law are residents at this facility. I have visited them on numerous occassions. I believe that the facilities, and ameneties are adequate. If there is one area that I may deem as needing improvement, it is the staff. I would like for them to show more compassion and concern for the elderly patients. Many of the patients would benefit from an occassional smile genuine concern for their well being. I realize that this is their job, but that does should not stop them from being human. As I get older, I constantly think about how I would like to be treated if I'm not able to care for myself. I firmly believe that there is some good that happens on a daily basis at this facility. As with many things, there is always room for improvement. It could be that the staff is burned out or may need incentives to boost their morale so that they can uplift the residents.
