My mother moved into Benton House of Bluffton. We like it because it's a good place. We chose it because of the whole feel of the place. It is very nice. It looks like they care for the people and they are concerned about the people. They're just very attentive. They do well with activities. They do bingo, they exercise a little bit, and they have entertainment - people coming for music and all. The whole place is great. There's a salon, but in memory care, there's nothing you're going to use.

I liked Benton House of Bluffton. It was extremely friendly and accommodating. It was new and it was decorated nicely. It was very clean, not terribly fancy, and well organized. I had a friend who was there and I would visit him. The staff was extremely friendly. Every time that I went there, my friend was in some kind of physical therapy activity as a group or doing a group activity like bingo or that kind of thing. It was a delightful place to go visit. When I was visiting my friend there, I inquired about our two friends in Saint Louis and explained that one would be in memory care, and I asked whether they would need to be separated. And they said, depending on the severity of the memory, they wouldn't need to be separated. But even if they were separated, there's every effort made during the day to put the two people back together again, and I thought that was kind of exceptional.

We liked Benton House. What we liked the most was that it had a number of memory care patients. The other ones were too small, and we liked the facility and the staff that we talked to. They're knowledgeable and caring. They had a gym, a hair salon, a game room, outdoor seating area, and walking paths.

I will be forever grateful to the staff at Benton House. My mother passed away a couple of weeks ago. Prior to that she received loving and compassionate care. She was well taken care of. She loved the caregivers and always felt safe snd comfortable. Even during Covid, Benton House went the extra mile to facilitate visits because they knew how important that contact was. It was easy to get in touch with Sharon in the office. She was extremely patient with my mom usually having to repeat things again and again! Her room was lovely with a porch overlooking the fountain and lake. I would highly highly recommend Benton House .

We're in the process of moving my mother to Benton House. She's going to get a slightly smaller room than what she has in her independent apartment. It's a very new facility, and we chose it because it's all on one floor with nice rooms. The activities are more limited because it's smaller and doesn't have as much open space within it. The clientele are much more physically limited because it's assisted living. They have chair yoga, exercise groups, and card playing groups. The food was OK.

Benton House is brand new at only two years old and absolutely beautiful. The people were so friendly, outgoing, and talked to my mom. The rooms were decorated nicely. It had a wide open dining room, beautiful kitchen with all granite, and snacks out all the time. The staff was fine, did a great tour, and followed up. They were very good.

Benton House is a nice place. I got a typical tour -- nothing outstanding or different. They have a small library, and they have nothing exotic or large -- just enough for a small community of retired people.

Benton House is a brand new and still fairly empty. My mom has been here for only three months. The place is very nice, and the staff that I met there seemed very nice. My mother seemed to be pleased, so that is the main thing. They have everything from what you would call a studio to a deluxe one bedroom. They have a section for folks who have Alzheimer's, and the rest of them are on their own. My mom got a one bedroom apartment which is small but nice. She lived in a place where they have impeccable food, so she has been spoiled. I think the food there is probably good, but it is not deluxe or top of the line. The dining room setup is nice and very open. They have a very nice facility and a big kitchen. If you want to cook your own meal or want to use the kitchen, you can. They have an activity room, I think there are probably more things like card games, and they have movies. They have a big courtyard too. It depends on the residents because there are only about 20 of them now. They have nursing stations there and everything from the medical standpoint. They have everything that I can think of that my mom would need.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was really impressed with Benton House of Bluffton. It was very well done. It was brand new, and that was a big drawing point to us. Everything was just done to perfection and decorated very nicely. It was a lot of convenience for my mother. It's not too big for her to walk around and get through. It just seems to be a really good fit for her.
