Last month my mom became a resident of Ellenburg.Nursing Center. Every one I have met from the admissions office to the nursing staff have shown a genuine concern for my mom. I have never heard a negative comment or seen a negative attitude from any of the nursing staff. I know mother is well taken care of and she is safe. Even the activities director is fantastic. Mother used to work crossword puzzles and as her dementia has progressed, she can only work the word search puzzles, she always has a new puzzle book in her room. I can not say enough positive things about Ellenburg. Everytime I visit my mom, I try to make a point to tell someone what a blessing they are to me and how much they are appreciated.

This place is consistently trying to get Mr. Garrett to leave their care when he still is NOT ready to go due to NOT being able to walk. They keep trying to get my room mate to take him to my house, can't happen. He needs the care and help to start walking again and this place wants to throw him in the streets

I had a relative at ENC in 2018 and the staff was very responsive and caring. Facilities are okay but need to be renovated to create a brighter atmosphere. Patients with developmental issues need activities to improve their overall progress.

We took my dad to Ellenburg Nursing Center on a Friday mid afternoon, but he passed away the next morning. The people in charge seemed to be very caring, and even though my dad had Medicare and Medicaid, they would be giving my father rehabilitation, and they would work on his diabetic diet and healthy diet. It's not really luxurious; they were having renovations at the moment. They had a place for his dog, and we would have been able to take the dog to him. We could have taken him to lunch. After so many days of a person being in there, you can check them out and take them to lunch or a movie. They also had a step-up facility where they have a hospice. They also celebrate their birthdays. They have a big TV room and a big lunch room. When I went to visit my father, there were people down the hall in wheelchairs, and some of them seemed to be really bad, but the people were very responsive to them.
