My husband's room is spacious and clean always. Lots of light through sliding glass doors which are kept closed but can be open to let a little air in. The staff is exceptional -truly all of them. However, the Program Director is fabulous, Johanna. She plans trips and outings and all sorts of craft activities. The residents are always busy doing something. I am so happy for my husband who participates in it all thanks to Johanna and her assistant Ben who is also wonderful. He was our introduction to Halcyon and made it easy for my husband to join right in with everyone. This place is truly wonderful. The food is good and my husband is thriving very well at Halcyon. We are grateful for Johanna and Ben to lead the way!

My mom is going to Halcyon at West Bay. The outside of it isn't updated, so I was unsure, but the inside is beautiful and the people there are very welcoming. The staff who toured us around was very nice and very knowledgeable. The activities that they have there are pretty much the same as all the other ones. They have music, they have wines on Wednesdays, they have bingo, and they have crafts. They have everything that most other people are doing, too.

Halcyon at West Bay is a very clean place. It's pretty modern. They've done a lot of renovation, so it's very fresh and clean. The staff were all very nice. Everybody there seemed very caring. They have all kinds of activities, like outings. There's a full schedule every day of the different things they do. The dining area looked nice. As far as I can tell, they give them a lot of choices as far as what they want. Out of all the places we looked at, we liked that place the best.

Halcyon at West Bay is a good place. The facility was very clean. They have a nice room. It's quiet. They were polite and personal. The place for the meal looked like a restaurant. They have a different menu every day. The facility had a beautiful layout. The community room was modern. It looked like a hotel. They have a separate dining area and cafeteria. They talked about different activities. They had sports equipment and other stuff.

My brother was at Halcyon at West Bay and I thought they were lovely. They were very nice, the place was very clean, it's just a very nice place and everybody there was lovely. Their food was excellent. Their rooms were very, very nice, very well kept, and they were excellent. I have no complaints. They had games, they had shopping trips, they would take you out to doctors and things like that. They had games, arts and crafts, and things of that nature, they always had something going on, including a clambake in the summer. I was very pleased with them.

My aunt has moved into Halcyon at West Bay. The place is phenomenal. They have a lot of staff. The staff-to-patient ratio is much larger than it was at the other place. They're very caring and very attentive. The room is huge compared to where she was. The room that she's in is 12-1/2 x 18, and you bring your own furniture. When her bed was delivered, they put the whole thing together. I ordered it and I had it shipped there. When it arrived, they called to let me know that the bed had just arrived, and not to worry and that I didn't have to drive down there to put it together, they were going to take care of all that for me. They are phenomenal. They are. I've been there probably four or five times since she's been in just to check. She has a sister in Canada, and so I call my aunt in Canada, and then I call my aunt here at the new facility, so we have like a little conference call because my aunt in Canada can't speak English, so it's hard for her to call. Twice a week she speaks with her, and she said to her, 'Did you move into your new apartment yet? What do you think about it?' She said, 'It's very clean. It's very big. The people are very nice. They help everybody. They're very, very helpful. It's much, much, much better than the other place.' They do activities. I've gone at different times, and she's walking around with two of her little friends that she met and they're laughing. She fits right in, she just clicks, and everything is fabulous. I haven't tried the food but my aunt says it's very good.

It wasn't too bad, and we liked it. They had exercises and arts and crafts. We were looking at shared rooms. There were services my uncle would have to pay for, and they do not work with the state when it comes to memory care.

It was nice, but it was an older facility. It had both independent and assisted living in one building, and I prefer a separate building for independent living for my mom. The staff who took me around was nice. They had a game room and a knitting room.

Before my mother moved in my father passed away, and they sent me cards and flowers. They were very warm, and compassionate. It’s one room with a large window. It’s very bright, carpeted, and the walls are beige. You can decorate it. The food is excellent.

The rooms are pretty roomy and sufficient. The ones that were furnished were pretty nice. All in all it's pretty good, and we are considering placing my mom in that facility. They have plenty of activities, and they a offer lot amenities for the people that live there.

It is very good, and the nurses were very helpful. A couple of the residents were too old. The atmosphere was very pleasant, welcoming, and nice. There are amenities around and places to shop. It was a smaller community, and it was clean.

I was able to visit, and it was fine. The staff was very helpful and gave me a tour of the facility, and I really had a good tour. The rooms are typically small. What I like the most about this facility is their people.

It was very nice and homey. The dining area was set up like a restaurant. They do quite a bit, they go on day trips and do stuff like games they could play. The neighbourhood was nice and it was 3 miles from the hospital. It was easily accessible. The staff did a great job.

It is closer to my house. It is very elegant, clean, and they have a lot of activities. The staff is great. Actually, my father fell the day before yesterday, and they called me right away. His room is very nice, and just big enough for him. They provide a small refrigerator, and I wish it could have been a little bigger or taller because he has to bend down to go in and out of it, but I ended up bringing some milk crates to set the refrigerator up on, because it is just too short, and my dad is a tall guy. He loves the food, and every month they have a different theme. One month, they had Cuba, and I think last month they had Italy.

I found it on the Internet, and a woman named Elizabeth called me. I went to see Elizabeth there and had a tour. I was interested in the place because my mother-in-law liked it when she visited other people there, and it was very close to where I lived. She also liked to walk, and there was a nice surrounding area for walking. She could even walk to the grocery store and pick some things if she wanted. It was a bonus that the location was close to the market and walkable. My mother-in-law needed assistance with medications and other things, so I visited the assisted living area. The place was very clean, upscale, and had a nice environment. When you walked in, there was a fireplace and a piano; it looked elegant. The staff were pleasant, polite, and they smiled. They did not look grumpy at all. My mother-in-law had a low income, so she would have had to share a room if we chose this facility. There was enough room to keep personal things, and each one had a bureau. They had to share a bathroom, though, but it was nicely put together. They had a library, there were residents playing cards, and it seemed like they had things to do for them. The dining room was very pretty; it was not like a cafeteria. I remembered that they had next week's food posted, so you could decide when to eat and what you wanted to eat there. They had different entrées every day. I talked to some of the residents, and they all seemed happy.

We visited. It was very nice. The person that guided the tour was very helpful. The staff and the residence seemed quite happy. They had plenty of size options for the rooms. The dining room looked very nice. There were a bunch of activities that they had every day like card games, bingo, memory games, reading the paper together and a lot of other stuff.
