I feel that my wife , having been at Rittenhouse Village for nearly two years now , is being well cared for. Improvements in care , diet , and overall environment give me peace of mind when I am not there with her. I visit most days and , thankfully , have not had any unpleasant surprises. Special thanks to the management , nursing staff , kitchen staff , and all those others who have been diligent and thoughtful in their daily tasks. Keep up the good work ! God will reward you. Sincerely, Frank Johnson
What you can do with Caring
About Floral Creek in Yardley, Pennsylvania
Floral Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center is located in Yardley, Pennsylvania, just across the river from Trenton, New Jersey and 30 miles away from Philadelphia. We understand that those living with memory loss are still able to lead fulfilling lives. We work diligently every day to ensure that those in our care are able to experience love, laughter, comfort and security. People living with memory loss face greater challenges than most of us. Being unable to remember life's most cherished moments is a difficult path, but not a hopeless one. Sinceri Senior Living recognizes that these individuals haven't lost the capacity to experience joy and are able to continue leading meaningful lives. That's the basis for our Meaningful Moments program. This unique approach to caring for those with dementia goes beyond merely making these individuals safe and comfortable. It's a family-centered concept that starts by learning everything there is to know about our residents ? their passions, achievements, careers, family, hobbies and interests. This allows our staff to create moments of real meaning that engage our residents emotionally, physically, mentally, socially and spiritually. It also helps bond caregivers to the resident, so they are able to see more than their current condition and recognize them for the singular and exceptional person they are. By creating this profound connection, Meaningful Moments establishes a strong foundation of trust and well-being from which residents are able to create new memories and thrive in an environment of exceptional care.To learn more about this provider's license and review other available state reports, please visit: Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Provider Directory

We had a terrible experience with Rittenhouse Village at Floral Vale's marketing director. He was extremely abrasive, aggressive, confrontational, and pushy. He turned us off of the place immediately. The hallways were very dark, the rooms were small, and they didn't even include a shower. They did not seem to have any kind of structured activities for the seniors. We asked about their schedule, and the staff member said if somebody wants to sleep all day, they let them, which is totally wrong for someone with dementia. My father needs someone who's going to engage him in activities and keep him active.

My mother moved into Rittenhouse Village at Floral Vale. We are in love with the place. My mom loves it too. We have been incredibly happy with the care my mom has received. The staff members are very attentive, very kind, and very patient. The place is well maintained and clean. The food is good too. My mom enjoys it. They have a very wide range of activities, and they're constantly soliciting new ideas from family members of things that they can offer to the residents. I just can't say enough. My dad and my sisters comment to each other all the time that we have just found a hidden gem. We are happy that we chose a place that is just memory care. Many of the staff members have been there for a very long time. The director will give out her cell phone number to anybody that wants it. We feel like we really have chosen the right place. My mom is in a shared room. It has worked out fine. The residents are not really in their rooms all that much. They are out of their room socializing, talking with other residents, or doing activities. They have a very wide range of activities. They had a therapy horse there the other day. They bring in musicians and other entertainers to do things. It is cool. There is always something going on. They are far more reasonably priced than some of the other places that we went to, especially for the care that's given.

As with most families, it was not easy for us reaching the point where we knew we could not care for mom any longer without help. We looked at several facilities, and then decided on Spring Village at Floral Vale. Mom moved in about a month ago. We could not possibly be happier with that decision. As soon as we brought her in, the nursing staff immediately began to address her needs. Since that day the entire staff has been consistently attentive, diligent in dealing with issues and compassionate, even when mom’s mood turns sour. Communication has been excellent, and we are always kept apprised of how mom is doing. The overall atmosphere is upbeat and cheerful. Mom’s room is beautiful and allows for significant natural light. I would enthusiastically recommend Spring Village at Floral Vale.

My aunt moved into Spring Village 3 months ago. The first several weeks were difficult for her and for us. My aunt felt as if she had been abandoned. The directors at Spring Village helped us get through that upsetting period. What was amazing to me was that during that adjustment period, my aunt told us constantly that her'friends', meaning staff, could not have been nicer to her. I have been at Spring Village countless times and will give you my feedback: 1. It is spotless at all times, a feat given the incontinence issues. 2. The food is very good and the chef will fix an alternative meal for a resident who is not interested in what is being served. 3. Something is always being done to make the facility that much more appealing to residents, e.g., faux painting to create garden scenes, exhibits of familiar articles from yesteryear to provide comfort. 4. Entertainers are scheduled regularly to keep the residents engaged, singing, dancing or toe-tapping. 5. Medical and care staff members are always available to meet with family members. 6. The in house hairdresser could not be nicer to residents. 7. PT professional is attentive not only to rehab, but to safety issues as well. 8. Staff: Spring Village manages to identify prospective employees who will consistently go that extra step to calm an elder who is anxious and confused. I cannot tell you how many times I have been near but not seen by a care manager who is being tender and comforting to a resident. This level of compassion is seen from the directors and care managers to the maintenance and kitchen staffs. I heartily commend Spring Village.

We placed my mom in Spring Village of Floral Ville. We chose it because my sister has some contacts there. It is a very small facility. There are only 50 residents, and they have about two caretakers for every three residents. They are well staffed. The rooms are very much updated and spacious enough. My mom seems to like everything. They have plenty of snacks, and they have the residents make cookies. They have ample activities. They have some field trips. Depending on if a resident is capable of going that day, they will take them out to the park and out to lunch. It is accessible to hospitals, and it has a homey atmosphere I will recommend them to others.

We choose Spring Village because it is strictly a memory care facility and my mother is an Alzheimer's patient. The building environment itself is set up like a small village. It is very home like and the surrounding area is very picturesque. The rooms are pretty standard and almost like small apartments. The place is absolutely spotless. The staff seems to be absolutely wonderful. They actually email me about once a week to let me know what mom's progress is.

Spring Village is beautiful. It was very, very clean, very bright and cheery and the residents had access to a few outside courtyards. The staff is very professional and very attentive. There's a lot of one-on-one interactions there. I met the chef and he was wonderful. It was such a relief that it was everything I could possibly want for my step dad.

My dad is currently at Spring Valley. It's a beautiful facility. They have a lot of activities which my dad didn't have before. They dress him and take him on bus rides. The meals are taken care of. There's a lot of attention given to the patients. It's excellent.

My experience at visiting Loral Vale has been great. My grandmother is taken care of very well. She is very happy here. The staff is very helpful and they always make sure that she is neat and clean. That she is feed well and her health is always top priority to them. The rooms are very nice as well as all the visiting areas. I feel that the staff treat all the residents like they are their own family members. We couldn't have found a better place for her to spend the rest of her days. My grandmother has been in 3 other facilities and was not taken care of very well. This is a top notch place. The staff has become like family to all of us. My grandmother's clothes are always clean and neat. Her room is always clean and smells well which I know is not always an easy task since she has frequent accidents. I would recommend this facility to anyone in the area.
