My mother moved to The Solana Doylestown and we're pretty happy with it. It's not hospital-like, it's more apartment living but with memory care. Her room has two separate areas, the living room, and the bedroom, then there's a little kitchen area and a separate bathroom. It's small but it's got different areas like an apartment. I feel like they can still up their game with their food selection for memory care. They've got activities like exercise classes, arts and crafts, and a happy hour.

We've had my mom in Solana for over a year now. It started out very well. My mom loved all the social activities and community interaction. Lately though they've had massive turnover and now they were forced to hire agency temps. The care has gone down significantly and my mom has fallen numerous times while waiting for someone to answer her call button. We've talked to Jessica (executive director) but that has not produced any real results. She doesn't have the consistent staff to rely on. It's becoming untenable.

I toured the Solana Doylestown. I liked it. That could be the place. I'm very pleased with it. I've got follow-ups with them, and I got some brochures with them, so it's a very strong possibility. I liked it for the distance; it's in the area for us. I'm pleased with the type of arrangements they have. My dad requires what they call level three and level four care assisted living. It's like assistance to get in and out of bed, get dressed and all that, and they can do that. The facilities are like individual apartments that are unfurnished. Basically, I can bring his stuff there, so he is living more with his environment as opposed to just being in a glorified hospital room. I was impressed, I like that, and I think he'll like that a lot, too. It seems like a newer place, so everything is fresh, clean, and updated. They have a number of rooms for social activities and also for therapy. They will continue with therapy, which is important for my dad because he really wants to keep going. I was impressed with how they treated me, too. The workers that took me around the place were helpful and friendly. They have a lot going on. If they can help my father in his state, it'll be very helpful, because there's a lot of social activities. I saw some of the residents doing an Easter activity while I was there.

The Solana Doylestown was a nice place. We just looked at the assisted living there. We only had interaction with a couple of staff members there, but it was super nice. We visited there twice. My husband and I went once and then we went with his parents. It's a very nice facility. The rooms were very updated and very pretty. The actual common areas were gorgeous. They were super, super warm and cozy and nice and updated. My parents felt the room was too small, but it was very nice. The bedroom had carpet, the living area had a laminated floor and the kitchen area was just like a kitchenette kind of thing. I thought there was a lot of wasted space in the room. It was a one-bedroom that we looked at and they told us they only had four two-bedrooms there and they were all taken. I had told them if one opened up to give us a call because I liked it a lot. The bathroom was nice. The shower was nice and easy to get in and out of, and there's seating in the shower. They had a little salon there and a nice common area up on the second floor with the movie theater room and a popcorn machine. While we were there, they had some musicians singing and playing guitar. We toured on Valentine's Day and they were fixing to have a Valentine's party. They had animals in there, which I find inviting and homey. They had a nice art room that I thought was pretty cool and a nice little library area. The first time that we visited there, they were having a little afternoon wine and beer party, and people seemed to be enjoying it. At the front entrance, there was a nice little bar area. I liked the dining area there, too. When you walk in, you can see right through the dining area and there was a nice outdoor space. It was a smaller facility, so they were aware of their various residents and their needs, and they seemed to be very thoughtful about that. That was something I like there. The staff who gave us the tour twice was awesome. She's lovely, really explained things, answered all my in-laws' questions and they're memory-impaired a bit and they kept asking the same ones and she was so patient and very, very nice. It was a very nice facility, very clean and very well kept.

The Solana Doylestown was an extremely modern building and there's a lot of open spaces to sit. They offered the level of care that my parents would've needed. What we liked the least about there was the cost to what was being provided service-wise. It was more expensive than we felt it needed to be for what they were offering. Everybody we came in contact with was extremely courteous and pleasant. Everything was modern. It looked like they would be able to provide everything my parents would've needed. It's close to my brother and me. They had a salon, a lot of open spaces in the building for people to sit, and a rehab gym-type facility.

My parents will move into The Solana Doylestown. We chose it because of its convenience. I liked the cleanliness. I don't think we've had a bad experience since speaking with them. They're in constant contact with us, they're very polite, very kind, and very forthcoming with information. I don't think there's a negative thing I can't think of at this point. I dealt with Lauren and Jessica, they treated my parents very well. It's very modern, they had a lot of things that we didn't see in other homes, like a movie room, a cool bar, which was part of the movie room, it was almost like one of those dine-in movie theaters.

My mother is in memory care at The Solana Doylestown. It is secured. The staff is very helpful and very courteous. They're very accommodating. The place is outstanding. It looks like a vacation resort. They take them on bus trips. They just had a car show last weekend. It is very nice. They have a library and a beauty salon. It's beautiful.

The Solana Doylestown appeared to be extremely well managed. It's a beautiful facility. They had everything that we needed and the person that was doing the interview was amazing, very customer-oriented, and she fit the bill. I saw both assisted living and memory care. The staff was very knowledgeable and very compassionate. They were perfect in their job. They have a chef that makes food for the people, and they can order whatever they want. It's very beautiful including the grounds. It's really easy access to get in and out of. They're on the main road, but they're far enough back that I'm sure there's no noise or anything. The location is perfect from where my family lives.

We went to The Solana Doylestown. It's pricier than the other facility but still a very nice facility. They have quite a few activities. They have a van, they said they go out to different places like the casino, and they also have people coming in for entertainment. The facility looks very nice; it's new, and it's only six years old.

I am currently living at The Solana Doylestown. It's been fine for me. It's an assisted living community of around 150 residents. It doesn't have skilled nursing though, and I want to be in a retirement community that offers skilled nursing should I need it. The staff is very good here. There's a fair amount of turnover, but I guess it's quite common in facilities of this type. I have no complaints about the staff, they're polite, helpful, considerate, and they do their jobs. The facility is beautiful, it's not even 5 years old, and it's modern in every respect. The atmosphere is very home-like and not institutional, which I like. They have activities for the residents, which a lot of them I don't attend. There are church services for any denomination here on Sunday, the usual bingo nights, there's a happy hour here on one of the days, exercise class, and physical therapy and occupational therapy treatments if you need them.
