Do not bring anyone you love here! They lie right to your face about the care they care getting . The call bell is a joke . I was there when my dad used it to go to the bathroom. They take 30 mins to come in then turn it off say they will go get help any never come back . They put them in diapers so they don’t have to deal with the patients . Pt and OT never show up they say once a day you get either or. Then when you ask the nurses about it they say we don’t have any note about what they do with the patients .Its a rehab how do you not know what’s going on? They only care about insurance keeping the patient laying in the beds to get weaker so they stay longer . I took my dad out of there after two weeks . My family went every day to make sure he was getting up waking and taking care of . It’s sad they need to be closed down . I took him out he couldn’t even stand . He walking now standing and gos to the bathroom him self . He’s so happy to be home . I don’t blame to nurse or aides they need a job it managers and owners should be a shamed of them selves there under staffed and lie to you just to sign up. Do not bring anyone there.

As with any facility, there are staff that are caring and compassionate, others not so and have no business working in this field. The RN that was on day duty was rude, impatient and had no contact with patients nor was she available to ask care questions. There were a plethora of mis-steps in my dad's care and no one seemed to care or take responsibility (wrong meds, wrong glasses, theft of my dad's personal belongings)...and this was a situation where family and care-givers visited EVERY day for 2 1/2 weeks. It proved to be a sad and frustrating experience. They are always understaffed and when an individual needs assistance it takes anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes for an aide to respond. I need to apologize to my dad that he was there as it was heartbreaking, but we needed to prepare our home for his return. The best day for us was the day we discharged him.

Do not, I repeat do not go here. My husband was here after a bout with a staph infection. He is 81. He is diabetic. We were told they do not test each day. This was important to do as it could show signs of infection returning. I had to make several phone calls before this was done. The day he entered I reminded them he was diabetic, but they were serving meals loaded with sugar and red velvet cake for dessert. We finally after again duress got to speak to the dietician(should have been the first day, not a week later) He could not sleep in their bed(others also complained) They gave him a recliner and he spent the entire time there trying to sleep in a recliner. How is one supposed to recover in here. Oh and dr do nothing. G saw him maybe once/twice for a pop in, ( so he could bill). I was there every day and never met this man, who is also dr of record on a couple other places. I purposely did not ca capitalize dr. he doesn't deserve the title. The service was awful and if he couldn't get to the john by himself, he would have bern in a mess many times. I am just happy he didn't get worse being there. Steer clear of this place at any cost. I am cslling my insurance company. They need to look into this place.

Whitestone Health Care Center was clean and the staff was friendly but they need to be more attentive. My Aunt had requested shower several times and she didn't get one.

The rehabilitate center in white stone is a very clean area and nice facility but they are under staffed and rude. My grandmother fell at their facility and had broken a few bones. A few days after my grandmother passed away. Now today I'm celebrating mother's day without her. Strongly do not recommend this place.

Visited there and almost accepted employment there. Brand new facility just getting started. Surroundings are elegant. A nice place to live and be near others of the same age group.
