My Dad moved into Shenandoah Senior Living last year. Nursing staff is kind and caring and always available. Rooms are large and clean. Facility is Clean and modern. All staff I have met are friendly and helpful. Therapy room is well equipped. Food menu could be better, but meals are timely and staff always assist in prepping food as my Dad needs help. Activities include multiple bingo and game sessions a week, various visits musical guests (including a poka band). A craft room is also available. Each room has a seperate HVAC split unit for custom temperature control if warmer or cooler temperature is desired from general facility.

My boyfriend was admitted to the facility in July for therapy and rehabilitation after major surgery and, numerous health related setbacks that resulted in him being bed bound and immobile. THERAPY IS TOP NOTCH! He is now home and walking! I can't say enough about the therapy department! Nursing staff was courteous and compassionate! And admissions went above and beyond to ensure that Shenandoah senior living would be his destination for therapy. Wound team is very knowledgeable and skilled! Definitely recommend this facility

Shenandoah Manor Nursing Center is a well-cared-for facility. All the rooms are a nice size and clean. The staff is nice and friendly. Dad is there and considering that everybody's understaffed, they do a very good job. They do the utmost best that they can. It's been a very good overall experience. The meals they serve are good. It's kind of a limited menu, but they do what they can. They have quite a bit of things to do that I was surprised about. From having others come in for music events, doing arts and crafts, and playing bingo, cards, and other games. They have a calendar of different activities.

My mom moved into Shenandoah Manor Nursing Center last November. It's a very good experience. I liked that it's just one floor. It doesn't smell when you walk. It's clean. The nurses are very nice. Every last one of them is extremely nice. I haven't come across a bad one. The food could be a little better. Her room has its own bathroom. It's nice with a big window and very spacious. They have a lot of activities, so it keeps her going.

First off no phones !! Didn’t think they would say up to date when they don’t allow loved ones to be able communicate with there families . But there staff now will sit hallways texting off there phones while patients are being neglected There is obviously a reason they don’t have access to be able to communicate! Second left my relatives spaghetti dinner n hot coffee with welll her teeth weren’t even put in she would have choked and she couldn’t life her own cup . Then top off all there empty beds they won’t discharge ( dr won’t ) bc Medicare dollars !

My grandparents have resided in both the Birches and the nursing home side (yellow wing) of Shenandoah Manor over the past few years. During this time they have received excellent care. The staff has cared for their physical well-being in the best way they know how, and we are thankful for that. What we are most thankful for is the social and emotional care they receive. They treat each resident as family and as an individual, providing what they need to have a fulfilled life. The staff at Shenandoah Manor are also easy to work with. When a problem arises they help us find a solution in a professional matter. Our family is grateful to have them in our lives.

Shenandoah Manor Nursing Facility is an excellent placement for my mother. The nurses are aware of everything about the residents and take excellent care. Aides provide all the necessary care to keep the residents healthy, looking good and comfortable. Physical therapy tenderly attend to each individual according to their needs. Food is prepared for each person according to their dietary requirements and is always appetizing and delicious. Many activities such as bingo, music appreciation, exercise, monthly birthday parties and most recently, the Fall Festival keep residents engaged and happy. It is like a family when I visit, and made me feel confident that it is the best place for my mother.

My mother is right now at The Birches at Shenandoah Manor. They have crafts and movie nights. The best thing about them is their workers, and the people there are nice. She will stay there for a month total.

Shenandoah Manor Nursing Center was recommended to us. The staff were very, very good. The security was excellent. They had a guard before they could even get into the facility. Their physical therapy is small for that purpose, and I think that could expand. Also I hope they have private or semi-private rooms as they only have rooms with four people in it. They have in-house games where you could play ping pong and billiards. We also have trips. We went to the casino one time, and that was interesting. We were also out to lunch.
