My mother-in-law lived in Hidden Meadows on the Ridge & The Laurels. Their respite minimum was two weeks. It was very nice. We had meals there, and we actually had birthday parties there for my mother-in-law. They were very accommodating, and the staff was very nice. The facility was always nice and clean, so it was a very nice place. It's just that the price is higher compared to the other community we're considering, and we have to pay for two weeks instead of one. It really jumps it up.

I toured Hidden Meadows on the Ridge. That's a beautiful place, and that woman that I met with, is a fabulous woman. It's just, everything was great up there, but it's just too costly for me. Even their menu for their dinners and all was fabulous. I come from a cooking family, so that's something I can spot right away. You see a lot when you come in. It's beautiful. I met some people and the people are very happy. That tells you a lot when you see how happy the tenants are. I liked the cleanliness and the care. They're very thorough with every area. They offer everything, doctor's care, doctors that come in that you can use. So, I wouldn't have to take my mother out for appointments. I believe they take your mother or father out to a dentist. They have a contract with the dentist. They will do everything, anything you need. It's just that if you need extra care for your mother, it costs money. There's my demise because we don't have a lot of money.

My husband will be moving to the Hidden Meadows on the Ridge. Their staff members are very outgoing, concerned, and conscientious. The facility was beautiful, and each room has a bed, dresser, armoire, nightstand, and an easy chair. It's a very spacious place. There are a lot of activities that my husband is interested in, like birdwatching. There's a lot of room for him to move around and meet people.

Hidden Meadows On the Ridge was very, very clean. They supply a lot for the amount of money that they would charge my mother-in-law. There are a lot of services that come standard and the best thing is they don't take your money, you only pay the rent and just pay extra if you need any kind of help. If ever she stayed there and didn't like it, she could move out and they wouldn't take her money. I think that's phenomenal. They even have 24/7 nursing and doctors. It's just amazing. The gentleman was wonderful. He wasn't pushy. He was very, very accommodating and very good with my mother-in-law. I was impressed with everybody there. It just seems like a nice place. Their activities were great. They had at least 6 or 7 activities a day and they were all different. The residents we've spoken to just loved it. They can't say enough about the place. They have a dining area on the second and third floors where the living quarters are, and a little counter where you can have coffee on your own, juices, and tea. They only have 54 residents, so the dining room isn't overpowering with people. I was very impressed with everything that I saw. There is no hallway. The rooms open up into a big, spacious sitting room. They have little mailboxes on the outside of the door, too.

Hidden Meadows on the Ridge was a smaller place and wasn't as brightly lit. It's three floors, and the studios are very small. The one thing I didn't like about the place was they didn't have a little kitchenette in the studios. You would have to bring your own little refrigerator or whatever if you wanted. They have a dining room where they serve the three meals included. It also has a smaller occupancy. At the time I saw them (which was like a month ago), they had about 80 people living there. I briefly talked to the chef, and he seemed very nice. They said he was very good. I talked to a couple of personal care aides and they seemed nice too. I talked to two residents. They liked it there, and they said that the people were really nice to them. They have bingo, card games, board games, some trivia games, and they take you out to places for shopping or whatever in their own van.

I went to Hidden Meadows on the Ridge. It was very nice. It was a three-story building. They had a nice dining room. There are two buildings there now, and one is more for dementia care. They have private rooms with bathrooms. I had lunch there, and the food was good. The staff was nice. As far as coming and visiting, they were fine. They would give you some furniture, but you could bring a few of your own things. The dining room was a sit-down, restaurant-style with waiters.

Hidden Meadows on the Ridge & The Laurel was our second choice. It appealed to us. They scored high on everything. The only turn off for us was that the building had three floors and the elevator was kind of slow. If you're on the third floor you have to go down to the first floor to eat, which could be a problem. Having them living on one floor is more convenient for somebody that has trouble getting around. The staff members were very good. This place really stood out for us as a place we would want to go to. The rooms were really roomy and fairly large. The dining area was laid out nicely and was spacious, with nice outdoor views. There's also plenty of room if you have family or visitors. It wasn't an older place and it was modern. They had everything that we needed. They have visitors that come in, and they do things with the residents. For example, during Easter time they did Easter activities and helped make baskets for the grandchildren. They also go on outings and to casinos. They have a wide variety of things to do. Everyone we bumped into there was friendly. We had lunch there and the food was fantastic. They were very accommodating.

The care provided for my mother by Hidden Meadows on the Ridge & The Laurels is excellent. They have activities, like bingo, and crafts, like knitting, crocheting, and stuff like that. They have several rooms where visitors can sit and meet with their family members. The activities are in a bigger area on one floor.

EXCELLENT Nursing staff and caregivers. They always have time to listen to my concerns and the needs of my loved one. My loved one is always treated with respect and dignity. Accommodations are always clean and comfortable. Every effort is made to meet everyone's individual needs. There are activities daily for anyone who wishes to participate. There are monthly outings also for those residents wishing to go along. Highly recommend.

Our Mom has been a resident at Hidden Meadows for three years. There has been a drastic change in management over the last three years and the residence is a very different place than the one we chose for our Mom. The previous management team was always engaging with the residents and was approachable for the family to discuss any concerns. Additionally, about two years ago the food service staff left and what were once creative and appetizing meals are now barely edible.

Hidden Meadows on the Ridge was nice, but the prices were higher, and it had more of a nursing home atmosphere. They were all studios. Most of the rooms were open, and it just smelled like a nursing home.

This is a review for The Laurels at Hidden Medows on the RIdge, the memory care facility. I am deeply grateful that we found the Laurels at Hidden Meadows for our 90-plus year old parents. The surroundings including the building itself the landscaping are just beautiful - welcoming, warm and inviting. It was easy to recreate a part of my parents' home inside the Laurels which made the transition so much easier. The heart of any health care facility is the staff and the staff here is just phenomenal - so caring, loving and helpful and there when you need them. The food is delicious [having eaten several meals there] and the activities for the residents are creative, varied and fun. You cannot find a more loving, open environment for your loved one.

Hidden Meadows is smaller and it did not appeal to me. The staff and the rooms were nice, but just the atmosphere and the whole building seemed to be darker inside and it just give me a weird feeling.

I met with the administrator of Hidden Meadows and I had a walk through the facility. It was very clean. It was a new facility and everything was very nice. I liked that place because it was close to a hospital. Everybody looked happy.

My Uncle was very happy there. They were good about giving the family some feedback. We never really had any problems with them. The staff was very friendly and I like the girl named Kelly who is the Activities Director. She seems to love and enjoy what she's doing. I would highly recommend this place to others.

My brother in-law is very happy with Hidden Meadows. The staff is excellent. I have had lunch there and they're very accommodating. My brother in-law also said that the food is very good. He has a room there. They got a double room first and after my sister in-law passed away, he moved to a single room which is very nice. The management of Hidden Meadows have been extremely helpful to us.

I looked at other places and Hidden Meadows was just very homey. I have nothing but accolades for them. They're the best. The staff is just so attentive. They take such great care of my mom. They let me know if anything is going on. They're wonderful. They're all nice, attentive and friendly, even the kitchen and maintenance people. I have eaten there a couple of times and the food is good. My mom thinks so too. If I ever had any concerns which I hardly ever did, the management would address them right away. They're just really good. Connie is great. I'm so glad I found Hidden Meadows.

We're very well pleased with what they are doing for my mother. They're taking good care of her. We don't have any complaints. The staff is very excellent. They're very caring and they do a good job. The place itself is very well kept. My mom likes the food there. They have great food selections. The management is very cooperative and very informative and very easy to work with.

My mother has been very satisfied with the care she is receiving in Hidden Meadows on the Ridge. She's very happy there and I'm very pleased with them. It's immaculately clean and they take great care of the place. It's very personable. I think the staff is very concerned about the residents they have there. They go out of their way to help my mother. They're very good. I wouldn't leave my mother there if I wasn't satisfied. I absolutely have no complaints about Hidden Meadows.
