I toured the Celebration Villa of Exeter. It was welcoming. The grounds were kept up nicely. The inside was kept up nicely on the regular care side. The memory care side is a smaller unit. It didn't quite have the features when I mentioned if everything was color-coordinated or anything like that, so I was missing that extra additive that I'd seen at another place. They had caring people. The nurse at the counter was working one-on-one with a lady, and I thought that was very positive. There's a nurse on call on each side, so you don't have just one nurse for both areas. They have a nurse in memory care and then one on the regular side. That was good. The dining room looks very neat. They were all genuinely working with people. Even the janitor came by to introduce himself, and Natalie who showed me around was very pleasant. I even met the head director there.

The manager at Celebration Villa of Exeter was wonderful. She took me around and showed me everything. She sent me a little video of what we had seen that day. My husband had a chance to see the place and we looked at two different types of rooms that were wonderful. It was a clean place. It was friendly. There was a nursing staff 24/7 and that was important to me. It was also in a nice setting where there was some greenery around. It wasn't just like a brick-and-mortar type thing. Every room had a nice view of something that was green and there was a walking spot to go all the way around the buildings so that you could get some exercise, too. The facility was very nice. It reminded me of a New England inn. It had a central fireplace with rooms radiating from it that were kind of glassed-in so you could see in. There was a TV room, a library, a cafeteria area, and a dining hall.

We like Celebration Villa of Exeter for my father. I was very impressed with it. I like the country-type setting for the most part. There was some outside seating, and people were not totally stuck inside. Everything was good. The staff was excellent, very nice to us, and showed us options and all their facilities. We liked it very much. The apartment was small, but very adequate. It looks like they're in the middle of actually updating the building. It looks like they're going through a painting process and carpet replacement and everything. Their maintenance is good. The dining area looked fine. They have a lot of activities.

We went for a visit, and the place and rooms were very good. It’s small but OK. I worked with a lady named Danielle who was excellent. We went for lunch, and it was a very good lunch. They have a lot of things going on. Their location is very easy to get to and close to things but still off by itself.

It was a very nice, one-level facility with excellent food. The staff and rooms were very nice. It was the first place that we saw, and my mother felt it was just overwhelming for her. You could do the laundry there. There was a pool table and activities.
