My wife and I live in the Quarryville Presbyterian community; we're staying in the independent living. We just like everything about it. I think the main thing for us is the Christian atmosphere and, of course, the complete continuous care through skilled nursing. Their food is excellent, too; we have a fantastic chef. Their activities are very, very good. They're continually building and improving things. It's just well run. It's interesting that quite a few of their staff have retired here as well. I think that says a lot. Our favorite activity is, of course, religious-oriented things, and they have a lot of opportunities for that. We like the tours to Lancaster and the surrounding areas. They take bus tours, and they've even gone on cruises in the past. They have very diverse and very forward-looking activities. I would say it's worth every penny and more. I think we're getting very good value for the money. I've been looking into senior living now -- the searches that I'm doing for my friend. Looking at some of them, especially the ones in New Jersey, they're very, very much more costly than here, so I'd say that they do quite well here. Of course, we came in over ten years ago, so the new people coming in may have something different, but we're quite satisfied with the value that we're getting. One thing that they have just jumped on recently is their health-and-fitness staff. They have a firm that is supplying all their top staff. My wife is in rehab now, and her rehab person has a PhD in rehabilitation and physical fitness. We recently attended a meeting where they introduced their whole staff and the corporation that was providing all the equipment and everything. It's the latest equipment and very impressive. All the staff are impressive, so to me, everything is well planned and well run.

Quarryville Presbyterian was very nice and very clean. Everything was centrally located. I can't attest to their care but I know other people that were there. It is a very nice facility. I like the layout. I liked what they could ultimately be able to provide as far as health care. They have activities. They have a pool, an exercise room, and a cafe. They have transportation provided for anywhere you want to go, and I know they also have day trips.

Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is a really nice and well-kept place. If Mom runs out of money, they are not going to kick her out. They do bingo a couple of times a week and trips. They have Ms. Quarryville Pageant and outside people come in to do concerts for them. I would like them to do more daily activities inside the community. They have computers in the assisted living side. The staff is really helpful and taking good care of her. They come and get her when it's time to eat and check on her quite a bit during the day. There are doctors that come in to check on the residents.

My mother and aunt are in a nice facility called Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. Presently, my mother passed away but the experience was great. When we visited my aunt there, my mother liked it so that she elected to go there for the last four months of her life. It's a Presbyterian home and it is very nice. Their service is wonderful. It is a religious-based facility and the people are very caring. When family members come, they are invited to eat with their clients at the facility. Arrangements were made at a spur of the moment and it was very nice. At Quarryville, you don't see people sitting in the hallway with their head hanging off onto the side. In this particular facility, you would see their clients dressed and interacting with others. Even those who are in their skilled nursing care, they're going to different functions in the facility, and that's what's so impressive. Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is so professional.

We visited my great aunt at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community on numerous occasions. It was so nice there that we felt comfortable bringing our small children there to visit with her as well. The employees were professional and kind and kept a watchful eye on my great aunt while still respecting her freedom and dignity. The facilities were clean, comfortable and and there were plenty of activities for the residents to participate in. I especially enjoyed that Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community had a enclosed outdoor area for the residents to enjoy and entertain visitors. The dining room was comfortable and a happy place where all could dine and visit with one another. I highly recommend this facility, Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community.
