My mother moved into Independence Court of Quakertown. You're greeted as soon as you walk in by someone who is at the desk, and you see residents in the group living room area. The grounds seem to be well-maintained. The rooms are in good condition. This facility is a little bit older than some of the other ones I've seen, so it's not as modern and not as fancy. Mom said that the food is good. The admissions director is very good at getting back to you with any questions that you have or taking care of any requests that you have. In general, across the board, their staff is very responsive and there's good follow up. They have bingo pretty often. They have morning exercises, bird watching, travel-related things, and activities where they kind of reminisce about different things. They also have a variety of religious sessions.

My husband was a resident of Independence Court of Quakertown. I liked the activities and the aides were very nice. Most of them were great. They had lots of activities that were good. They have therapists coming in and they are also very good. The food, they have the same things over and over. The quality is not the best. Like there were no fresh fruits in season. No fresh vegetables like tomatoes in season. They have bingo. They have exercise classes. They bring entertainers in. They have happ...

My mother has been in Independence Court of Quakertown for a while now. She loves that place, and she was so happy to come back. The best thing about it was the way she was greeted by all the staff. The only drawback for her (being high functioning) is they tend to fill a lot of beds (if they have to fill them) with people that are closer to Alzheimer's patients, so that can be irritating. Taking that out of the equation, she loves the activities and the staff. They bend over backwards to help h...

My husband didn't get assistance at Independence Court of Quakertown. He needed assistance with the shower, but he didn't get it. They didn't bother with him that much. I was the one that went in and helped him shower. I complained, but it didn't do any good. They said they didn't have enough staff, because of the pandemic so that's just the way it was. So, Independence Court of Quakertown was just not for my husband. He lived in a bedroom with his own bath. It's not an apartment, but it had it...

My mom is in Independence Court of Quakertown Assisted Living. It's a very quaint facility, very cheerful, and it's maintained very well. It fits into the general neighborhood and setting. It's a nice place. The staff is very professional and very caring. They welcome family members, they're friendly, and they answer your questions, and they seem to do a very good job with, you know, their residents. They have all kinds of activities, the usual things, bingo and chair yoga, and movie nights. And...

You all took such wonderful care of our Mom and us during our short time with you all. We will truly miss you, and consider you all as our extended family. Your place is a hidden gem in the heart of Quakertown. Everyone was always friendly and helpful during these hard times for us .We would HIGHLY recommend your facility to anyone.

My mom was there for 5 days, M-F. First off, my mom is prone to UTIs. I told them that. They put her in a room designed for 1 person. It had 1 small closet, A half bath. They divided the closet in half and said this was Mother’s side and this was the roommate side. You know how women are with clothes. Do you think a half of a coat closet is enough? Well, what I am disappointed in is myself. I read that one review that a gentleman wrote where he and his wife were residents there, and aft...

My mom, aunt and uncle all live here. It has been a very good experience. The cost is reasonable and the staff that we have encountered are very friendly. Also, when we have needed assistance with the VA and other government forms, they have gone out of their way to help us with the paperwork. Thank you Suzanne for all of your help when we have questions or need assistance. There are plenty of activities to choose from including music programs, holiday events and church. They work hard to keep t...

We went to Independence Court of Quakertown. Be careful of the shared rooms. There are a lot of issues around them. It's very hard to pair up people well into their 70s, 80s, or 90s and have them get along. A lot of people go there because it's $2,500 a month, but that's for a shared room. A private room is $5,000 a month. I wasn't particularly fond of the staff. You had a couple of people that were really good, but a lot of people that weren't really good. There's not much to speak of in terms ...

My mother-in-law is living at Independence Court of Quakertown. The community is very nice. Everyone seems pleasant. The food is good. We haven't been up there for a little while, but I suppose it has been good. Everything seemed fine when we were there. We thought the living atmosphere was very nice. I thought the staff was very nice, too. They have an activities room and a nice outdoor area. It seems like they have lots of activities, but my mother-in-law is not interested in them.

The administrator at Independence Court of Quakertown was a terrific guy. The downsid of the place was the independent care. Also, the people who needed service were all in the same area. It was like a big, happy family, but maybe not as happy as it could have been. There was an intermingling of all the different health issues. If they divided that up, I think it could be a little more conducive. The facility was expensive, too. I thought it was cool that they had a Happy Hour every day. It woul...
