The room was great, food was great. Dining staff was very aware to residents Likes and dislikes, and very accommodating. Nursing care mostly good except night staff was very lazy and notifications of my dad's falls were non existent until day shift saw noted and notified family. Showers are 1 per week, and my father had no shower in the first 10 days! Respo.se time for bathroom calls were hours!!!!! I had to change my father's soiled depends, and clean him, he sat in them for hours. The room was large and spacious, and the hospice staff was awesome, once that care started. The office staff/management is absolutely terrible! I was called to the director of nursing office, and asked how was I going to manage my father yelling for help all night!!!! That's what I was paying them to do, but they thought it was my problem!!!!! Also after my dad passed, he was only there 17 days, administrator Kevin, was useless. Would not help with refunds, was unsympathetic, and very off putting. The opposite when trying to get us to go there. Gave false promises up front, no follow through. Don't count on anything from Kevin after you sign the contract!!!!

My mom was at Paramount Senior Living at South Hills. Everything was wonderful. It's a brand-new nursing care place. The staff members were very good. My mom enjoyed the food; all of the food was very good. She did bingo and we went to a mass. They had happy hour and social days. The activities were very good.

I’m here at Paramount Senior Living at South Hills. I have a large one-bedroom with a lot of furniture from home. It may not have the menus that other places have but here you have room. They have a gazebo, nice grounds, a lot of bingo, and poker some nights. They have a little garden club, and the other day, we went to the meadow. They go to Walmart once in a while. There’s a doctor across the street but the doctor I go to weekly is in Coraopolis and the daughter of one of the aides here drives me to Coraopolis and back. They serve three meals.

We moved my parents into an assisted living facility a couple of months ago called Paramount Senior. It is both independent and assisted living. It was a nice fit for them; they are in one unit together, but one is independent and one needs assistance. I think it’s a pretty long run operation; my only concern is the turnover with the staff.

The management of Paramount Senior Living seems to be responsive and looks after the facility pretty well. The building is kind of small, but it is well maintained. There are not enough parking spaces for visitors, but that is the only complaint I have about the physical facility itself. They have a large dining area, they offer three meals a day, and the meals are good, because I was there for a week or so, and I thought the meals were very good. Right across the street from this facility is a small shopping center that has a doctor's office, a small supermarket, and a bakery shop too. My mother has had no really negative comments about it, except that she wishes she could get around more, but she is happy that the nursing staff is responsive. She wears a thing around her neck, she pushes the button, and they come. I would recommend this place.
Dissatisfied!

My mother was a resident for 3 months. While the woman in the office was very nice, my moms room was not cleaned the entire time she was there. I was the only one to change her sheets. We were told we had to pay a security deposit of $500 upon admission but when she left and we inquired as to the return, we were returned NOTHING. On top of it, we were told that a portion of the deposit had to go towards cleaning the carpet after she left, when they never cleaned or vacuumed the 3 months she was there. I do NOT recommend this facility AT ALL!!
