We toured the Primrose Apartment. The tour was fine. We got to see a room. It was on the second floor. The living room and dining room combination from what I was expecting was fairly large. The bedroom, if you have a lot of furniture, it's going to be a tight squeeze, and that's where my mother is sitting. She doesn't want to get rid of anything, but for one person, the bedroom is plenty. The bathroom was huge also. My assumption is, although nobody said it, that it was set up for someone in a wheelchair, there's an extra wide door. The room was very large. They had a walk-in shower, all of the grabs and everything you would expect for a senior center, and the toilet and the sink. The kitchen was fairly sizable. I thought there were a lot of cabinets, a refrigerator, a stovetop, and an oven so she could do all of her cooking there if she chose to, and also had a microwave that came with the apartment. As far as amenities, I don't think they have too many. They do have washing machines and dryers on site. They did run some tours and things, but I didn't see any vans around, so I guess that they're probably through an outside contractor. The staff was pleasant and pretty outgoing. We spent a lot of time talking to them. They kept asking if they could do anything for us. They were helpful for what we wanted.
