My wife is a resident of Paramount Senior Living at Lancaster County Paramount. The people that take care of her really like all the patients that they have. They are very friendly. The place is a really nice place, but it's too far away from us. It's the same food that they give you in the hospital. The food is okay. The facility is very clean. They have guess-that-tune and another one is religious activities. They take them out for tours around the area. They had quite a few activities. The room is pretty good size and the layout is okay, too. The atmosphere is okay.

Paramount Senior Living at Lancaster County was very nice. The facility is newer. It's bright and inviting. They have outdoor activities. The person we talked to was very informative. We know somebody that's a resident there. We saw her room. It was a nice size. It would work for my dad. It was perfect. They have a monthly calendar with indoor activities. Sometimes the activities are inside and sometimes different things is going on in the community. The dining area was bright and nice.

I visited Paramount Senior Living at Lancaster County. I like that it was clean, single floor, and everyone was friendly. They have very nice-sized rooms. The staff was nice and friendly, answered all my questions, and engaged with the residents. The dining area was large, open, and clean. They had access to the courtyard and it was nice, shaded, and had benches.

We went to Paramount Senior Living at Lancaster County. Size-wise, they have about 60 people, so the size was manageable. It's all on one floor, so it met a lot of the criteria we were looking for. They have a living area with room for a couple of chairs or a loveseat, a little dinette, a refrigerator, telephone hookups, and cable hookups. The staff, Cindy, was very knowledgeable and did a great job.

Paramount Senior Living at Lancaster County was fantastic. It's a beautiful facility. My wife was in the memory care and the people were all top notch. Even the cleaning staff, when I'd come in, would ask me how my wife was doing by name. The food was very good. I was impressed with it. They had senior activities where they had a group of residents in a circle and they'd throw a large ball back and forth to each other. There were memory games where the staff would ask for them to complete jingles for different products on TV. Everybody was participating.

My mother has moved into Paramount Senior Living at Lancaster County. She is in memory care. Her room is very nice and very clean. We took things in to make it her room. So far, everybody's been very, very nice and helpful. I really like it. My mom eats the food and likes it. Everybody says it's very good, but I've never eaten there. They paint their nails. They color and play games. They have a big ball that they throw back and forth to each other. They are always doing something for them. My mom enjoys all the activities. It's beautiful. I couldn't ask for anything better for my mom.

My mother has moved into Paramount Senior Living at Lancaster County. She's in memory care. I'm just getting to learn the staff, although they've been pretty attentive to her. Her room is very accommodating. Maintenance and upkeep are very good. The dining area is nice. I haven't tried the food, but she's eating. They have a fitness center right there. There are plenty of activities that are going on, so they keep her pretty busy. They have a courtyard for her. The staff is caring and attentive. I would recommend it.

We liked Paramount Senior Living at Lancaster County because of its outside environment. It had a nice country setting versus a more crowded city setting. It's a very attractive facility inside with multiple places for visiting. For the memory care, we liked the ongoing activities, the quality, and attractiveness of the individual rooms. They have craft-based activities that are appropriate for the memory care folks, holiday activities such as Mother's Day and Father's Day, and church opportunities.

Paramount Senior Living at Lancaster County was really good. I saw private rooms and I saw, I guess you call them double rooms. They're all very clean. There were little patio garden areas, which I thought were very nice too. It's well-maintained and clean. The only people I met were the people that were giving me the tour. I didn't get to meet any of the regular staff. They showed me an exercise area. They showed me both the assisted living and memory care section. Their dining area was very nice. The only thing that I have reservations about was, I thought the double room was a little crowded. I was extremely pleased with everything except the size of the area for when you have two people in one room.

My mom is in Paramount Senior Living at Lancaster County. It is her fourth month there. It is a combination of assisted care and constant care kind of place. The rooms are very clean. The location is good for me because it's only about 10 minutes from where I live. In terms of the facility itself, it has a very nice dining area. It has a sitting area with leather chairs and a big- screen TV. It has a gazebo in the back for people who want to go outside to sit in the sun and also a small gazebo in the front for the people who want to sit there. They do provide meals and alternative meals for people who have some issues with the diet. The staff is OK. As in other places, they're having issues with keeping nursing assistants because of just the times right now, but for the most part, they're doing a nice job. They have an area for some therapy, both physical and occupational. It's a nice facility. But there are some staff members that I find a little undesirable in terms of how they deal with some things. I've been with my mom when she has eaten there, and the food was good. It's not a five-star restaurant, but it's not bad. It's also not as expensive as some of the other ones around here. My mom goes to bingo every day, and I know there are activities every day. I'm a DJ and I went and did a music tribute show for the folks for the first time last Wednesday. The folks that had the memory issues knew every song that I played, which was interesting.

Paramount Senior Living at Lancaster County was very nice, well-kept, and it sounded like they had plenty of people. The only problem was that my mother was still testing positive for Covid, so they couldn't take her. I didn't get to know the staff. The person who conducted the tour was a little flighty, but she was nice. We were going to move mom on a Monday, and over the weekend they had a board meeting to decide because my mom had been Covid-free for a month, but she still tested positive. They were going to vote to decide if they were going to take her or not. The whole thing is new, I guess, but for her to not have any symptoms, but to still test positive was the issue, if she is still a carrier and spread it to their home. That's why they decided to say no because nobody knows enough about the virus. There's nothing special about the rooms at Paramount, but they seemed adequate for what my mother would need. The place was well-kept. Everything was well-kept and very nice.

I’m a granddaughter of a resident at Paramount and my grandpa is new to the Dementia wing. I have worked for two other facilities so I had concerns. I’m telling everyone now how incredibly grateful I am to Paramount Secure environment. Rooms are huge and brand new, outings are fantastic and activities are great, not a child like thing like most. Music, one on ones and more!! Congratulations on a community well done! I am shocked at how much the residents are doing everyday. Happy, laughter and conversation is throughout the unit. My family leaves with tears of joy every single time, my grandpa is engaged in activities and never sad to see us go. Please do a favor for everyone you love and check out this place. Clean, beautiful and cheerful. The care staff are on point and I cannot say enough. Thank you for the love and gift of time and attention that you give everyone on everyday.

I have toured this facility recently and am happy to say we are placing our mother in this community in the coming week! Beautiful and all levels of care! They do have availability at this time, we were so glad. Great nurses, management and all staff. Welcoming and warm from the start. Our first tour on our venture and we looked no further. Spacious rooms, each one different, all types of activities and the meals are a dining experience! If you haven’t seen Paramount yet go today.

I have been in and out of Longwood Manor plenty of times before visiting friends. They were very accommodating and gave us pamphlets. It would have really been convenient for us to have my brother and sister-in-law in there, and they really would be on top of our list. We would have put them in there if the other place wouldn’t have been able to take them right away because sometimes they have a two to five-year waiting period. They had very nice activities; in fact, our church just went there and sang a couple Sundays ago. They were very accommodating with all the residents who were out listening to the music. The main thing was that there wasn't an odor. It was very fresh and very clean, which was impressive to me.

The facility is fairly new, nice, clean place and it is actually our first choice since its just right beside my dad's house. And the facility is willing to take him without any down payment, after we had him taken out from a rehabilitation center. They conduct a comprehensive nursing assessment with every residents and their family to fully understand their needs. And the person who actually assisted us, I think her name is Alicia, was really nice and very helpful. But it just came down to when he developed a blood clot, we couldn't move him. So I need to look for some place closer to me, since I'm in Waldrof.
