My uncle was a past resident of Richland Woods. They seemed like they went over and above with my uncle in particular. They really took the time to get to know him, befriend him, which I thought was real cool, 'cause he's not really a likeable guy. He can be impatient, and he can lash out at times. Every single time Richland Woods would pull back, and they'd approach a different angle, and they would eventually get him to do what he needed to do. They just really worked with him. All the other things in the facility were great, they just were really helpful moving him in, moving him out, getting new furniture delivered, every step of the way, super helpful. The head nurse, Sheryl, was knowledgeable with his care. She could tell you right off the bat all his meds, how he's doing with them, and give advice on considerations for maybe making adjustments, and things like that. I have nothing bad at all to say. They sometimes had performers come in, they kept him semi-busy, which was good. The apartment was spacious enough for him, and just what he needed.

I moved my dad into Richland Woods Assisted Living. They were very thorough, and they have medical staff on hand. They were an absolute godsend, and they were a pleasure to deal with. They call us to give us updates, and when we call, they have his full medical history. They are just absolutely phenomenal. The facility is beautiful, and when you walk in you wouldn't know you're in an assisted living. Everything's coded, nobody can get out, and there's key codes; they're very secure. They never had an episode of COVID during the entire outbreak, there were zero cases, and they do everything the way they're supposed to do it. They have a very good upkeep, and the place is very clean. My dad can't do most of the activities, but I saw what they have been doing, and they offer a ton of stuff for seniors.
