We've had our Dad at the Corrigan House since 2011 and couldn't be happier. It is still family owned and operated. Smaller assisted living home that is well staffed, with nurses who are experienced and care. I recommend the Corrigan House to anyone looking for a safe home for their parents.

We went to The Corrigan House. I would not recommend this place. I walked in, and the owner came out, she was very nice and bubbly, but they all sat down and ate at one table. And then there's another small common area, and that was about it. None of the rooms had showers in them. There's no sign in front of the place to even identify what it is or where it is. So, we drove past it twice until we finally figured out that's what it was. So I was not at all impressed with this one, unfortunately. We only ever interacted with one person and that was the owner, and they didn't seem to have a lot of staff. That was another thing that I was not overly impressed with. I saw one nurse sitting down at the table where they eat with her computer, and that's all I saw there as far as staff goes. The facility wasn't very big. The rooms were small. It just wasn't what I was looking for.

I liked that The Corrigan House was open, airy, and very homey. There were lots of seating areas where the residents could congregate and do things together. The rooms were small. They're just a small room with an attached bathroom. They had separate shower areas. The place was very clean. It smelled clean, and it was well cared for. The staff who guided me was the head nurse at the facility, and she was very kind and friendly. She answered any questions that we had.

The Corrigan House had a very strong smell to it. The person that I was supposed to be meeting with to do the tours wasn't there. Some of the bathrooms were in disrepair. The lady that I talked to was nice. I think that there were not sufficient employees and they typically only have two people overnight and I just didn't feel as confident in their ability to care. They have the hairdresser coming in. There were two common areas and the outside seemed nice. Hazleton is not a large city, but it's near several restaurants.

My mother is moving into the Corrigan House. It was good. We asked questions, they answered everything as best they could, and so we had a good visit with them. The staff was friendly, we didn't have a lot of interaction. It was afternoon, and they weren't doing the meals and stuff. So it was quiet. The rooms were nice. They were mostly private rooms, they were nice and clean, kept up, and you could either use their furniture, or bring in your own, so it was a nice mix. The residents were in the living area watching TV, or reading whatever they wanted, but she did tell us that they have activities a couple of times a month with them. They bring people in and stuff, so it had enough interaction stuff going on for them. It was quiet, and it seemed everything was fine. The cleanliness was good. I liked where it was, the entrance, it's all on one level, so it's easy for the residents to get in and out, and visitors can come and go as they want.

I checked out The Corrigan House for my friend and it was very nice. The room that we saw was very roomy and clean. The staff gave me an excellent tour and she was an excellent person. She was very informative, friendly, positive, and an overall nice person. We didn't have any of the food but the dining area was nice and clean. The residents were playing board games and things like that.

We are thinking of moving my mom to The Corrigan House. The place looks very beautiful, lovely, and homey. The tour was very instructive and they were compassionate. The person who gave the tour couldn't have been more helpful. And the rooms I saw were very nice, spacious, clean, and welcoming. Their dining area looked very nice. It was like a small, cozy restaurant.

My brother is in Corrigan House. It is more in the country, but it is in walking distance to stores and stuff. It has an outdoor sitting table for the people. Everybody is smiling and happy when we walk though. It is not just a bunch of people sitting on the chairs like the other places that I see.

My mom is in Corrigan House, and they make sure she is taken care of over there. It is good. The staffs are very helpful and very nice. My mom gets along with everybody fairly well, so there is no problem. The place is very nice and clean with a friendly staff.
