My mother moved into Brookdale Harrisburg. I have no issues, except she's a coffee drinker, and at some level, some of those patients would be able to have a microwave. Her care is great, the food is great, people are very friendly, and you couldn't ask for more friendly and caring nurses and aides. I think they can update the carpet a little bit.

I toured Brookdale Harrisburg. Everything appeared dated. The staff was great. They seem very willing to work to try and meet our needs. It's just the couple that I'm looking for is kind of a unique challenge, first of all, because it's a couple. Secondly, because their needs were different, but everyone was very kind and they reached back, afterwards, I was very pleased with that. They answered all the questions. They tried to give us other options based on what they saw our needs were after talking and doing the tour. So, that was all a very positive experience. It's just not going to suit.

I toured Brookdale Harrisburg. The place was pretty nice and very clean. They have many people to take care of in their memory care area. The staff was very helpful. The building was in very good shape. It's a pretty good size room. The room doesn't have a private bathroom. It is shared with another room.

We toured Brookdale Harrisburg, a memory care unit for my grandfather. We were impressed with everything. The facility itself was nice. The staff was nice. The residents there seemed relatively happy. Nobody seemed miserable to be living there. It was a nice-looking place and it seemed very, very clean. When you enter the place you get kind of a warm and inviting feeling.

I toured Brookdale Harrisburg. It was clean and professional, and it had a warm presence. The new Brookdale director was very inviting and welcoming. She knew a lot about the entire department and the needs of the building. They had a studio and a studio deluxe. They provided a chair in the shower. They provided pullstrings in the bathroom and the bedroom, which are equivalent to a life alert. They give pendants to the residents to wear in case they fall.

I toured Brookdale Harrisburg. I like the rooms. I like the way the place felt. It was only one story, which I did like, too. If there's more than one store, they always have elevators. But I like that this was all on one floor, and the fact that the menu was good. I know some of the places don't have very good food, but that place, it seems like the food was pretty good, pretty good selection and everything. It was clean, and the people were very friendly. Everybody, even the facility was nice. It had a lot of things that I would use, like the workout, the gym, the library, the TV or movie area.

My brother is in Brookdale Harrisburg. The appearance is nice. The rooms are clean. They have one room where they play games. The regular people that work there are very good. They are very expensive. I know my brother fell three or four times.

Brookdale Harrisburg was beautiful and clean. The people were friendly, and I loved it. The apartments looked like they were a nice size. They had some amenities in them, and they were clean. They had everything you could ask for. The person who toured us around was very nice, considerate, and very informative. She followed up on me a couple of days later to check.

Brookdale Harrisburg was a very friendly community. It was well-kept and very lovely in that respect. We had a very nice tour. It seemed like the residents were happy there. Our tour guide, who is the director of sales, was very good at pointing out all the things that we were meeting and looking for. She was just very personable with both my husband and myself. We were very comfortable with her. She just did a very nice job. So we're looking forward to going back and checking in a little bit more about things. The rooms were lovely, well-kept, and very nicely arranged. Everything was very nice. I know they have a physical therapy area with a person in charge of physical therapy, which is very good. They have different programs going on that seem to be very interesting and good. There were beautiful outdoor areas. They do take nice trips to different places.

Brookdale Harrisburg is a gorgeous facility. It's very nice. As soon as you walk, there's a fireplace, a comfortable nice seating area, and a beautiful dining room. It looked like they had a phenomenal menu. The rooms were very nice. I got to see a studio, a studio deluxe, and a standard suite, and it was a very nice living space. They offered quite a few amenities. They were getting ready for a cocktail hour for the residents while I was there. They have transportation. They have beautiful courtyards, walking paths, a garden if they wanted to garden, a library, a beautiful dining room, and a beauty shop there, too. Everybody seemed very upbeat. They're not huge and they only have 55 residents. They have like 36 in personal care and 19 in memory care, but they don't call it memory, they call it Clare Bridge.

I toured Brookdale Harrisburg. It's a very nice facility. If we could have afforded it, then that would have been great, but the cost is way too high for what my father could afford. It was a very nice place. It was clean. Nice rooms. They showed me assisted and memory care. The staff who took me around was very friendly. They have an area where they do cookouts and stuff. The room is big enough that they could probably put two twin-size beds in it because when I was there, we talked about my uncle and the lady was saying if my uncle was willing to come with my father, they could share a room. The room has two dressers and a nice-sized bathroom with walk-in showers. I didn't take note of the square footage, but it wasn't that bad of a place.

Brookdale Harrisburg was beautiful, well-staffed, and very up-to-date. I didn't meet too many people, but those I met all seemed very nice and friendly. They were wonderful. The apartments were pretty large and had a more open concept. There was a hair salon, a little coffee shop, and a small banking area where they could do some of their banking there as well. It's very clean. There were no odors. The windows were clean, the rugs were vacuumed, and the landscaping outside was pristine. The dining room and the apartments were also clean and tidy.

I toured the memory care unit of Brookdale Harrisburg for my dad. It had a good look and there was no smell or anything like that. It didn't remind me of a nursing home and it was a nice facility. The room I saw was nice too. The method of payment was straight-up pay, there was no Medicare or Medicaid or anything like that to help out. The staff was really nice and they were open. We thought they would try to hide anything from us but everything went well and we were satisfied with the visit. We saw the dining area but we didn't eat there. It seemed to look okay. We talked to the patients about the food as well and they did not have any complaints about it. The recreational director seemed to be pretty enthusiastic to get the residents involved in activities.

I like Brookdale Harrisburg. The rooms were a nice size and the people were out and about. I talked to the nursing staff about doing the meds, and they told me how they do them, and I like the way they do them. The menu looks fabulous and they had three different-sized rooms. And they're the ones that are going to help me with the VA to get any money from the VA if that was possible. They had like 8 things on the calendar every day, that they gave me. They have movie and popcorn nights, they have a happy hour, and they had game nights. They had a barbershop, did the laundry and they clean.

I went to Brookdale Harrisburg. The staff was very nice and very pleasant. It's beautiful, and it's a nice-sized community. The rooms are beautiful, and they're certainly large enough. It was a smaller community, which was very nice. It's homey, and it suits my mother a little better. It was very beautiful, inside and out. They had a nice outside area where the residents could sit, and the inside was beautiful as well. The staff who gave me the tour was wonderful. The facilities were very nice, beautiful and comfortable.

Brookdale Harrisburg was a little cleaner, smaller community. The dining area looked like an upscale restaurant. I would say between the other facility, Harrisburg was a nicer community. The staff was very good. We saw a salon, barbershop, a little corner store, therapy room, and chapel. It was a very attractive building and well-kept.

Brookdale Harrisburg had different types of rooms, including an adjoined room so theres a shared bathroom and private rooms, at different prices. Overall, the food was nice and they had activities, and chapel or church. There's a main area where all of them can go into to do bingo and try to get the residents to participate. It's a nice community with separate areas for memory, dementia, or Alzheimers. Any place they want to go outside is boxed in so that nobody would randomly walk off.

My mom moved into Brookdale; it was a perfect move for her. It's a small community, which I really liked. The staff is very attentive and very kind, and they do a lot of different tasks. I'm really impressed with the meal program, they have their own chef and cuisine. However, they're under renovations, which is a bit unsettling for the residents, but it's an improvement.

I had a very good impression of Brookdale. The director there was extraordinarily helpful, patient, and informative. It was part of our consideration. I would recommend Brookdale. I saw the rooms, the housing, the dining area, recreational area, and the common area. I got a good feeling about it. The rooms all had a nice view of the outside and a separate bathroom facility. The rooms looked comfortable and some of them had a small balcony.

My dad was in Brookdale Harrisburg for almost 2 years. Their location, the cleanliness of the place, their staff -- I was very happy with them there.

The Brookdale Harrisburg was beautiful, but since my dad needs a lot of physical care, they didn’t think they were the right place for him. Nevertheless, they did have two connecting rooms, which would have been perfect for my parents, and a secure courtyard, which would have been great for my mom. The staff was wonderful.

The location of Brookdale Harrisburg is perfect, and the staff is very friendly. It's small; there are only 22 residents in the memory-care unit. There is a lot of one-on-one with the residents and the staff. The staff turnover is not very high. They have a lot of employees that have five-plus years of service with the facility. The rooms are very clean, very neat, very comfortable, and good-sized, with appropriate bathrooms with safety features. My stepdad is happy with the food. He's in good shape, so they take him down for physical therapy, which he really enjoys. They cater to what each person needs or what their interests are.

I liked the convenience and I heard good things about it. It is clean, and it seemed to have the things that a senior would need. The staff seemed nice. I saw one apartment, and it looked very nice. The security looked fine.

We visited and it was small and nice facility. The staff is wonderful. The rooms were nice but small. They had a lot of activities and everything else there seemed fine. The only downside that I saw was the size of the rooms.

I liked it. However, they do not have a room at that time when we went there. Everything was convenient to get to like the dining room. It was beautiful facility.

I researched several facilities before placing my father here. No place is perfect. But it has been pretty accommodating. At first my Dad didn't want to be here. He really needed the memory care. But, After 3 weeks he is now finally coming around. My Mom is also in the process of moving in. She came down. She liked it so much she also decided to give it a try!
