My Husband & I were very fortunate to have found this Skilled Nursing Home facility for my Father In-law, which has experienced a very challenging recovery & gone through numerous Nursing & Rehab facilities within the last few years, but ever since he called "Nightingale" his new home, things have drastically changed for the better Thank God! Nightingale sits on a Gorgeous & very well-manicured campus, the Staff are very loveable & super friendly and caring. The food is superb, and the activities are very enjoyable! This is a facility worth traveling across the region for..

my family member is still there and there is NO COMMUNICATION BETWEEN SUPERVISORS AND THE ADMINISTRATTORS. THEY AY THE'LL CALL YOU BACK AND NEVER DO. THE ONLY CALL 1 FAMILY MEMBER TO GIVE OUT UPDATES AND THATS THEIR POLICY. THE FOOD IS HORRIBLE. IF THEY WANT PT TO GAIN WEIGHT FOR STRENGTH IT WON'T HAPPEN WITH THE HORRIBLE FOOD.

I think I have a fairly good command of the English language and I am at a loss to find enough bad things to say about this place. there is usually a 2HOUR wait after pressing the nurses call button. the excuse is that they are under staffed yet a person can hear that they are admitting additional patients. the food which is served to the patients from the kitchen is awful and I thought barely fit to eat. there seems to be no communication between departments within the hospital. my wife talked to the nursing director and she promised to come to my room totally to me and never did.

I've recently made the long & way past-due trip to the Beautiful Erie, PA to visit Grandma at Nightingale Nursing and Rehab Center, Apparently the facility is operating under new ownership since the last time we made the trip, over a year ago.. which is the main reason I was motivated to write this review, Grandma was reminiscing the St. Mary days & although they were great, but the new admin & staffing are not comparable to say the least.. We we're warmly greeted by smiling faces from the second we came through the main entrance all through the hallways, which kinda says it all.. The Staff we're ultra friendly & caring, all across the facility was very clean and well maintained! What is usually a dreadful visit was a real "Delightful Experience" all and all!

July 15, 2022 04:00. Upon entering the facility, we were greeted by the evening receptionist. She helped us at the kiosk and was very personable. Sadly, that was where any good mentions end. Upon going to the 3rd floor, the male at the desk did not look up or greet us. He never looked up from his phone, we walked down the wrong hallway initially, noticed the numbers on the wall and realizing that we were in the incorrect wing. As we made our way through, I stared at the man to see if he would look up and once again, never took his eyes off of his phone, he just continued to scroll. As we entered the correct hall, there were two aides standing in the hall chattering and also on their cell phones, talking loudly, cussing and laughing at whatever they were looking at. No greeting or even an acknowledgement. The room was clean and pleasant enough. As for 75% of the nursing staff that we encountered, absolute disgust. We were there to say good-bye to a family member. I would never recommend putting a loved one there from our experience that day.

My mom has moved into Nightingale Nursing & Rehab Center. That's the hospital center for rehab and they had a good reputation as well. They've been pretty good about stuff. They've been really good about keeping me updated on what's going on. If she falls, they call me right away to let me know. They do the COVID testing regularly a couple of times a week over there. They call with updates on where they're at with that if everybody's passed or failed. The staff have been good, they're fine. The facilities are nice, it's very, very clean. As far as other nursing homes in the area, they're all comparable, because I looked at a few other ones and there are pretty much the same, money-wise. It has proximity to the area hospitals because it's in Erie, and all the main hospitals are right there within. They do transport; in a couple of appointments that she's had so far, they've transported her to it. I had to meet them there, but they offer to transport everything else.
