When my mother decided she wanted to move from her home of many years into an independent living community, after doing intensive research on several communities in the area, we knew without question, that Keystone Villa at Ephrata was the one! From the executive staff to the operations, tech, front desk, and dining room staff, and to the residents we’ve met, everyone has been so warm and welcoming to Mom and our family. When we've needed assistance, Keystone staff have been attentive and helpful. Her apartment is sunny and more spacious than I expected in an independent living community, and she said to me in a recent phone call, “I’m so happy. I feel as if I’ve lived here forever!” It doesn’t get much better than that!

I toured Keystone Villa at Ephrata. It's very nice, very clean, and very well-represented. The people were walking around and talking to everybody. It was very comfortable. I'm not just ready yet. Jennifer was very lovely. She was wonderful to talk to and we got along well. She gave me a lot of information and everything. The facility was very nice. They would have taken my dog if I needed to.

Keystone Villa is a beautiful personal care/independent living facility. The building is vast and clean, offering nice big rooms for the residents. Care staff is there and is always nice and respectful to the residents. All meals are hot and delicious, and they have plenty of options in case you want something else! The care my loved one has received since entering Keystone Villa is top notch and I would recommend anyone who’s looking for care for their loved one to come here! Staff is amazing and so is the facility, not a bad thing to say about it!

I toured Keystone Villa at Ephrata. Everything was good. The staff was really great and helpful, and the place was very nice. Everything looked good. We were there between meals. The dining room and the common areas were all cleaned up. The rooms were very nice. The place was multi-story, so there was no courtyard on the memory care floor, but there was a common area that they used for games and movies and things like that.

We went to Keystone Villa at Ephrata. It was nice, big, and roomy. We got to taste the food and that was fair. They have a studio and one-bedroom, or a one-room apartment. The bed was within a room with their appliances. There's one room with a little sink, refrigerator, stove, a bed, and a living room area that is all in one room. They had their chapel and they had the activity room. They had a courtyard and a library.

My Father lives here in a 1 bedroom apartment. He loves the large windows and all of the sunlight. His favorite activity is happy hour and all of the outings. He especially loves the trips to local restaurants. He really missed being able to go out to eat with his friends. The staff is very friendly and do an amazing job answering all of my questions. We are very happythat we chose |Keystone in Ephrata.

I chose Keystone Villa at Ephrata for my loved one, because the location was favorable for me. That was a major part of it, and expense wise, it was better. It was a fairly newer facility and we liked the people. We have a very good relationship with them and we are very impressed with the staffing. They knew everybody's name and I thought that was pretty cool. Whenever they met somebody in the hallways or in the activity rooms, or the living rooms, they were always addressed by their names. That was commendable. I liked the rooms. They are very spacious and very nicely done. There's a big activity room that's very spacious, too, and they have an outdoor patio to go onto. They have a little bird sanctuary where people can go and watch a couple of birds. It was just very appealing, and the staff has been fabulous.

My mother has resided at Keystone Villa at Ephrata for six and a half years now, and we've been very happy with that. They worked very hard to find her a solution to go from independent care to personal care. It's all good. My mother doesn't participate in that many activities, but she has always been very happy there. The food depends on the chefs that they have at the moment. There have been times when it hasn't been good, but they've worked hard to improve it. I would give them a 5; I'm happy with them. They're very caring and they're extremely helpful. It's expensive as they all are. They have activities. I know my mother would go on a casino trip now and then when she was able. They have other regularly scheduled activities. They have a salon, they have a store where they could get small snacks and different things, and they have a pool table.

We felt very comfortable there in Keystone Villa at Ephrata. The agent that showed us around was very gracious. They called us and they did have a place for us. They called us a week or so ago, and in April, it's ready for us. I have nothing bad to say about it, other than we wanted to be closer to our kids. They had meals, and we wanted a more independent situation. From what we saw, it's a very lovely place. They had different activities, I think they had some musicians come in, and they had a happy hour. They had a beauty salon, so you could get your haircut there.

My wife is now at Keystone Villa at Ephrata. So far, we think it's pretty good. It's better than average. They're very friendly and willing to listen to what your concerns are. The food is good. My wife is in a second-floor apartment. It has a microwave. The upkeep is above average. They have activity directors. They have trips, she doesn't go on trips, but they have happy hour and games of various kinds, so they try to engage their people. They have someplace for your hair, and they don't have a gym. I think the value for money is pretty good. It's close and that's one of the major issues and it seemed to fit our needs.

Keystone Villa at Ephrata was great. The reason we didn't pick that is that it's four stories and it's just too big for my mom. It's very nice though. I think it's more of a personal choice than anything. The rooms are a little bit smaller. It had more of a feel of a dorm room as opposed to an apartment. It's just a little bit different. It was clean though, and the people were lovely. The lady who toured me was outstanding; they pick good people for their staff.

Keystone Villa at Ephrata was very nice; everybody was very friendly and very sociable. They showed us a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom and we liked the 2-bedroom. They had a nice meal package, they had a lot of activities and it was just a very pleasant atmosphere. It's just that it's not for us at the moment. They had a nice courtyard, some of the folks who live there actually help with the gardening, they had a nice activity room and a nice little café area. They got us donuts from a local doughnut shop and they were excellent donuts.

We toured Keystone Villa at Ephrata. It was very nice. The building was very nice. I saw the staff interacting with the residents as they were eating and it was very good. The only disadvantage it had in our case was that it was a little distant for my dad to walk from his room to the elevator and then to the dining. That was the only drawback. Otherwise, the facility was very nice, the staff were very good, and everything looked great. I didn't see their activities. I would tell others that the facility was very nice and well maintained, and the staff was good. The interior was nice. They seemed to have taken interest in the residents there, so it was very good overall.

We went to Keystone Villa at Ephrata. They were very nice. They called us the day before Thanksgiving saying, "Even though we don't have openings, you're more than welcome to come up here for Thanksgiving dinner." It was a very nice facility, everything was clean and I could see nothing wrong. Everybody was well taken care of and there was nobody left unattended. The staff during the tour was very helpful and understood the situation of my wife. My wife just needed skilled care more than just assisted living care and more one-on-one. The dining room was a wide open area with nice table settings, and plenty of daylight and windows.

Keystone Villa at Ephrata is in a community where I live, and it is fantastic. I have friends who live there and they have lived there since the day it opened. They rave about the place. It is just fantastic, but my parents could not afford anything like that. At 100 and 101, they have outlived their money years ago. I would be glad to put them in there, but no. It is a gorgeous community and the staff is phenomenal. The rooms look beautiful, large, very bright and very cheerful. They totally redo the room every time somebody leaves. They have a pub where they have entertainment come in and they have a happy hour there. They have a movie and a puzzle room. It is just like a resort and a wonderful community. It is also downtown Ephrata so residents can walk anywhere. It is an ideal community.

My Mother was very unhappy to move and wasn't very nice in the beginning. The staff won her over quickly. They were so sweet with her and took great care of her. I am so thankful we chose Keystone. Their compassion especially in her last days meant so much.

My wife stayed at Keystone Villa at Ephrata memory care. It has four floors and memory care is on the fourth. The staff was good. Her room was big and clean, but their activities seemed pretty dumb. They just bounce the ball around and most of the time they're just sitting in a large room. They don't go out, unless somebody takes them out. They provide three meals a day.

Not the cheapest place around, but a good value. Very caring and tolerant. Staff has a good way with old people you act like - well - old people. Lots of activities. M.I.L. reluctantly admits to others (not me) that she likes it there and that is a HUGE win-over. No regrets about deciding upon this location for her.

Keystone Villa at Ephrata is an excellent place. The dining area is very nice, and the food is really good. The rooms are immaculate. They take the residents out on trips, they play games, and have music. It's one of the least expensive places that we looked into, and my mom is really happy there.

My mom was a resident at Keystone Villa. The care was minimal, and the accidents were many. The food was redundant, cold, and tasteless. The independent floor which mom resided on was so independent that when someone was sick no one answered. The place is ran like a prison where residents are told They also have a dementia floor which they have filled with persons needing urgent care. Again those residents have no freedom. Yes, it's pretty, but, pretty isn't everything. Housekeeping in the residents rooms was minimal at best. Most people just look at the hotel like atmosphere, however, does an 89 year old person need a hotel ? Truly, there's no place like home.

I visited Keystone Villa. It’s very nice, new, everybody seemed friendly, and it seemed like a very nice area. I met a resident who said it’s the best place ever. The rooms were of nice size, and the grounds seemed to be well-kept. It’s a small neighborhood. They seemed to have a couple of things going on like Bingo, movies, exercise classes, and cooking classes.
