My father has been here for a year. Apparently it was taken over by new ownership. It has been downhill from the start. The quality of employees is getting worse, you watch the good ones burn out before your eyes. The food is terrible, some is no edible . From the beginning I fought with them about not following my Dads diabetic diet. They would feed him three bowls of Honey Nut Cheerios and chocolate milk for breakfast, he was on a mechanical diet, I don’t think the kitchen understands what that is, and there is no dietitian on staff, they would put meat in a blender and give him dry shards that were s choking hazard. His roommate was pooping all over the bathroom and when we complained they told us to pay extra for a private room. I went there once and there was feces footsteps in his room, I was told no one had been trained how to use the carpet cleaner! When I complained to the dept of aging and the state , I was threatened with being banned from the facility! One day they forgot to schedule anyone to work the dinning room at all. They lost my fathers dentures and don’t want to pay to replace them. I have a video of a pancake you can’t cut. We are here advocating for my father, I can’t imagine the people who don’t have any one, how they must ignore them. We have finally removed the POA and will be able to get my Dad out of this HOLE! Please don’t leave your loved one here! I wouldn’t leave a dog here! Some of the staff have a really bad attitude. Management will not return your calls. They have almost no activities

It was beautiful, but the nurses was clueless. You can tell they were fresh out of school and did not have a clue how to care for elderly. For the money it costs to live there, you think they would hire more experienced nursing staff. This is an important aspect to a retirement community. It doesn't matter how beautiful it is, it the staff that matters. After doing some research, came to find out they have a high turn over rate for the employees, so this could be why they had inexpienced nurses.
