My uncle is in Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. It is wintertime, but the landscaping was well done and nothing was overgrown, so they maintain it. The lobby was very bright. The activity center is right off the lobby. There is lots going on. I witnessed balloon volleyball and that looked like fun. They have bingo. My uncle goes to all the activities, and he likes bingo. They have arts and crafts. The staff was very helpful when we moved in. He didn't even have any issues at all. It was a very smooth transition. I only witnessed him eating a couple meals, and he cleaned his plate both times, so I think he loves the food. Everybody was around big tables and they're all in their places with bright, shiny faces. He's only been there a short time, so the three or four days I was there when I moved him in, it was wonderful. The staff was very helpful, courteous, and efficient. The menu looked good. The floors are clean.

Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center was great. They had very, very kind-hearted people working there. They were very helpful. I can't say anything bad about them. They were very kind to my dad for the three weeks that he was there. Amazingly, his room was very spacious even though he had a roommate, but both people in one room had ample space. My dad was restricted to a wheelchair, so it was a little tight for the wheelchair to move around, but other than that, the rooms were very nice. The dining area was huge. The different common areas that they had were very large and those were very easy to get a wheelchair around. It was a very clean place. I've been in nursing homes before, back in the past, and they were not so clean. This one smelled clean when you walked in with very friendly people. They had a couple of COVID patients and they were very proactive in keeping people safe and taking temperatures when you go in to sign in. They went the whole nine yards. They had several activities going on every day. They are 100% VA contracted for the veterans and that was very helpful. I didn't know it was such a process just to get into the actual VA and so I am very grateful that they have a contract with the VA and that helps us out a lot.

Sunnyview was very bright, cheerful, and clean. The staff was very caring and the care that my dad got was very good. I was very satisfied with it. From what I saw, the food was also good, and they provide three meals a day. My dad was in rehab at first which went really well. They would get him up and take him to watch TV when he was able, but he wasn't really able to do a lot of activities. I thought that the quality was excellent. They would call me several times a week when I wasn't able to be there to update me on his status.

The people were very caring at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehab Center. They knew how to work with my mother with her dementia. They are very kind, respectful, and communicated very well. They were also very understanding with my mom's attitude. Her room was adequate. I saw their dining room, and it seemed comfortable.
