My father has moved into Bryn Mawr Village. We chose it because of the price point and the location. The staff like the CNAs and the nurses have been nice and good. It's small, so it's a little bit more like personal care. The food has a good variation, but it's standard like hospital food kind of. He doesn't like the activities because he's younger. They're geared towards an older population, obviously, and he's not part of that. They have a memory care unit, too, so some of the activities are more geared toward memory care and he doesn't need that. The facilities are older, but it's still nice. It's not like falling apart or anything and it's not dirty. It's clean, but it's dated. They have a therapy room, an entertainment room, and a little bit of ground. They don't have a lot of amenities, but that's what makes the price point lower. It's the only place that we can afford and it's nice. Everything else had a lot more amenities, but my father wouldn't have gotten use out of them and they're charging a lot more because of the amenities. This place has fewer amenities, but it has everything that you need. The staff is nice, it's clean, and he's being fed. There are no signs of neglect. I think it's a good value.

My grandfather lives in Bryn Mawr Village. He likes the place and he enjoys the weekly activities they have like bingo games. He's got a nice-sized room. It's also nicely laid. The staff is very kind.

We went to Bryn Mawr Village. The rooms were in great shape. The place overall was very clean. Everything was good. It had enough places for my wife to get around. We went to one large outdoor area, and that was very nice. Everything else was very good, I just have to wait for the money to come in. We went to memory care. They have it very secure, but it's very nice. The person who toured me around was very knowledgeable. I think she's the head of the whole thing. She had all the right answers. It would be the place I would go to. There are two different rooms that you could either or, but there are no appliances inside. Their outdoor space is just a big courtyard. They have a nurse for every person that gives out so that they're watched very closely.

I am very impressed with the attentiveness of the staff. Everyone I met and interacted with is concerned and focused on providing excellent care for my Dad. I rest easy knowing that his health and wellbeing are in good hands. Highly recommend.

This facility treats each person as an individual. The staff knows each resident's quirks, what calms them down, what they like to eat, their personal story, and any detail the family provides about them. Each staff member is patient yet very attentive to what is going on with the residents. The facility is extremely clean. Rooms are suitable but family can provide personal touches. The activities are excellent and all residents are included; no one is left alone in his or her room.

The facility and staff are simply top notch. The rooms are large and well-equipped, and the facility is bright and open. More significantly, the staff does a great job of building a relationship with each resident, and they really seem to care. In addition, they do a wonderful job of notifying the family of any issues that arise, from the very minor (Dad needs more lotion) to the more serious (Dad has a cold). They are also sensitive to complex family dynamics, and the stress of having of having a loved one with dementia.
