Stinks...people at the desk eating..bells going off no one moves to answer none of them...when you go up to desk they act like you are bothering them. Nastiness. Huff and puff when you put on the call bell. Told the one girl if you don't like your job quit she told me you pay my bills .she was so mad looked like she was going to hit me..had enough...got out ..Good Luck

Do not go here. The staff needs a class on manners. My mom sat on the commod for over an hour. The roomate gave her the phone to call me and she was in shambles. Seems an aide put her on there and "went on break" without telling anyone. I called and told the nasty person whom answered the phone..she says to me that every1 deserves a break...So my parent sat on the commode that long because the staffs breaks are more important then care? Apperantly the staff never said a word to anyone and told my mother get off of it yourself u old lady..I will be calling the state this is unacceptable behaivior

This "rehab" facility needs work. The staff is not trained to deal with the patients. Rude nurses..did not want to get up when I went to question my mothers care all just sat there and looked at me...my mother was not bathed at all had the same clothes on for 5 days. Hair a mess and dirty..this is a shame. Rooms are a mess 1 bathroom for 4 patients..have not seen anyone getting a shower let alone wiped off. .food on roomates face for days. Walking down hall to see a man hanging out of bed told the nurse and she says i will tell the aides...At all costs avoid this place... .

I am new to this area and wanted a place for mother. I toured a place called Meadowcrest in Bethel Park area. Never in my wildest dreams I thought modern day society lived like this. 1st the stench was horrific. I was looking around and saw so many empty people's souls. Screaming from the rooms for help. Anybody help me they screamed. So sad. Nurse was just sitting at the desk munching on food. Call lites just ringing and ringing. Nobody cares. People slumped over from weariness in there wheelchairs in the common area. Activity goin on with a whole bunch of just yelling by the girl. On that my mother will be staying with me......please be alert and involved if you have a loved 1 in this facility.

Rooms were dirty. Hardly ever cleaned. Place stinks. Patients are not routinely checked on. Very poor on all counts. Could go on and on with more.

The facility is old and not well kept. Often seen are broken items. The place smells like urine. There’s no one at the entrance and they just tell you the security code as a family member so you can get in. I’m sure that never gets changed. The rooms are tiny! Like they should be one person rooms but instead shove two people in. There’s no space to visit a loved one. They’re grossly understaffed. On the skilled nursing facility side it’s one nurse and one aide in the evenings. They don’t inform you when your loved ones fall. Only once of we’re guessing at least four times he fell were we contacted. While the staff is friendly, your loved one will likely sit in their own waste for a while because of lack of staffing. There’s four to a bathroom (it’s shared between two tiny rooms). No human deserves this. He didn’t get bathed. He left in someone else’s dirty clothing with more bruises and injuries than he arrived. Do not send your loved ones here.

I'm living in Meadowcrest Nursing Center because I broke my leg. It's assisted living and rehab. I've been here for 3 weeks now for rehab. The place is older so it could use some help with it. The staff is very nice, very friendly, and they do whatever you ask them to do. There are activities every day. There's one at 10:30 and one at 2:00. Last week, we planted flowers in pots and then we decorated the pot. We also played dominoes and I had ice cream, donuts, and a Turkey dinner. You could eat in your room because of COVID. They haven't opened up the dining room yet. You could go to the dining room if you want to but mostly, everybody stays in their rooms. The food is disgusting, it's very bad. Yesterday, we had pulled pork sandwiches. First of all, they put it on a hot dog bun because they didn't have buns. Secondly, they mixed baked beans with the barbecue sauce for the pulled pork and it was pretty bad. The room is small, with two beds and a dresser, and a cupboard in the bathroom. They could get a better cook. The biggest thing to improve is the food here, it's really bad.
