My mom is currently residing in Bethany Village. She's very happy there. They're very cautious about COVID, and everyone is 100 percent vaccinated. She likes the meals, they have wonderful activities, and they are constantly checking in on the people. I feel she's safe there. They have a barber shop/beauty parlor and a dining room with a patio off of it that they use in the summer for meals outside. Before COVID, they had more entertainment and people visiting. They try to restrict that right now for the safety of the residents, but they have arts and crafts, books they can borrow, and a bus that takes them on outings, or even to the local parade. There are plenty of things to keep them busy, which is nice. They also have gardens, a gazebo, nice grounds, and views outside. A snack cart comes around a couple of times a day, too. They seem to think of everything they can do to make the residents' stay there pleasant.

I toured Bethany Village. The tour was nice. The director was accommodating. She showed us around. It was clean. They were very thorough and showed us different rooms, the activity area, and the dining area. The staff was great. They have no availability during that time, they are full, and they have a waiting list. They're well-kept.

We have chosen Bethany Village in Pennsylvania for my mother. She is there now. With the current situation, we're not really able to get into the facility, but we did bring her there, and we're happy that she's happy. We entered the place and we set up her room, but recently, they have had restrictions because of the surge in COVID, so we meet with her outside. Its physical appearance is excellent, it's very nice. It's just very, very welcoming, very clean, and in a very nice location too. The staff is very accommodating, professional, and seem to be a very, very caring group. We're very pleased with them. I have not tried the food, but my mother seems to like it. I've seen the menu and it seems like they have a nice selection, and they accommodate any dietary needs, so we're pleased with that too. I know of some of the amenities as far as the hair salon and exercise classes, but being that there have been recent restrictions because of COVID, I have not been in the facility to see them.

Bethany Village is very friendly, clean, organized, and smells very good. I like it, and it's very nice. The rooms are beautiful, carpeted, and very clean, with nice windows and lovely bathrooms. They have exercise, crafts, music, and nice TV rooms. They have everything there for them. The dining room is very nice, and they have three meals per day. They serve mostly fresh food, but Mom's on a special diet. I am very happy with it.

I like Bethany Village because I have family who have been there for three years in the cottages and love it. I love the apartments; the layout is wonderful. They have a lot of amenities, like a pool, dining area and stuff, but you don't have a food allowance, so you’re totally on your own for meals and expenses. Plus, you’re totally on your own to clean your apartment. You don’t get help unless you have somebody to pay for it. The apartments are great, but everything is on your own. If I want to go to the dining room, I have to go get my car and drive to the other side of the road. No matter what I want to do, I have to drive from my apartment.

This is a wonderful facility that caters to the every need of those who reside there. The activity department is wonderful, they offer outings to all sorts of events. They also have the most kind and co passionate staff that I have ever run into in a facility such as this.

Bethany Villiage is beautiful but beauty is "skin deep". Bethany Village is capable of caring for mobile residents only. They will attempt to care for residents in wheel chairs but the facility it not laid out well. The facility was originally a multi-level building. An elevator was added but the result is the intensive effort by the staff to move residents around. In addition, the first floor is uneven as it the exterior, making mobility difficut. There are no hand rails. My relative said to me "They (the staff) push me from one place to another." It is also very expensive and "nickel and dime" the residents. I would not recommend a long stay there.
