I went to Concordia at Villa St Joseph because it was very clean and easy to access. I liked the garden and the room layout. They have rehab. They have a chef that works with some of the people. I knew someone who had been there, and she had commented on how good the food was. It's a little more expensive. I felt that they were very comparable to the other places. The staff was very good. She was there for rehab. The rehab that they gave her did the job. They got her moving, and they got her home.

I am a healthy senior who went for short term therapy. I was given very little therapy and not great medical care. The best I can say about the facility was “it smelled good and it was clean “ It was much better run under the Sisters of St Joseph

DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE TO THIS PLACE! All they care about is the money. The residents are just a number. The nurses and aides hardly ever leave the nurses desk. The poor souls on the Memory Care can't speak for themselves and don't get what they need. My family member was not able to ask for or tell anyone what they needed. Therefore they didn't get water or anything to drink except for at meal times. Most of the residents are put in a wheelchair and lined up in the common area in front of a TV for most of the day. My family members feet got swollen from lack of circulation from sitting in a wheelchair so long but staff wouldn't let them lay in bed because staff didn't want to have to check on them. My family member sat in dirty pants for hours because they couldn't ask for help although we were told staff checked the patients every 2 hours. My family member fell out of bed and out of their wheelchair several times and we were not called about falls. We got our family member out of there as soon as we could. Residents are not treated with dignity. Yes we went to the administrator and Director of Nursing but nothing was ever addressed.

This place is terrible. My room was dirty, but that was the least of the problems. I came there after an extensive back surgery. I could not get my pain meds on time. Nurses lied to me and each other. Were rude to me and my family members. I have never in my life seen such sub-par nursing ever, if you could even call it nursing. Some nurses were downright mean. But PT and OT were nice. Do NOT take a family member there!! I mean it. It was 9 days of hell for me. I am filing a complaint with the PA office on aging.

I visited my ex, with our daughter, at 11:30am, on 7/2/22. He needed to use the bedpan, so he rang the bell, with no results, so I got it out of the drawer and did my best to position it. I, immediately, left the room and searched the corridors, to no avail. Finally, I found a woman, in a little kitchen. Right away, she went to his room to assist him. While trying to find someone, I noticed a number of call lights that were lit. Finally, a male nurse came around. On an earlier occasion, my ex called our son, in Virginia, and stated that he had asked for something to drink 45 minutes ago and no one came. My son called and spoke to the woman in charge. What a shame that nothing had improved. This facility is terribly understaffed. For the amount of money it receives, there is no excuse for this kind of neglect. On the other hand, the food is excellent, the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly.

Staff does their best, but this placed is so understaffed that it really affects care. Administrators are interested in one thing: MAKING MONEY Taking my mother here was the biggest regret of my life and it will hurt for a long time. Please do your homework and try to find a better place for your loved one.

Villa St. Joseph is a wonderful place. My family member has been there for 4 years along with other family members for rehab services. For the Residents they provide quality care. The music program is amazing and enjoyed by both residents and families watching their performances. Crafts are also a bonus feature that the Residents look forward to. I can't say enough nice things about Villa St. Joe in Baden.

We had my mother-in-law at Villa Saint Joseph when she was doing rehab. It was a very nice place. It was a starker environment only because of the situation. However, I think it was certainly clean. The staff was very attentive. My mother-in-law got rehab and she was more mobile after her stay there. My mother-in-law complained about the food because it wasn't seasoned. She did not enjoy her meal, but she did eat, and that's when she actually started putting on weight. She ate well. They brought the food to her in her room, and when she became more mobile, she went to the dining room and she socialized there. She was absolutely doing very well the last week that she was there. Overall, Villa Saint Joseph was an excellent place. When we there, the staff was cleaning all the time, so it was immaculate. They also had activities. They had music, they had lounge areas where people can get out of their room and sit together, and they had a room with puzzles and games that they could play with each other. We didn't have to pay because it was covered under my mother-in-law's insurance. It was a pricey place, but we were thrilled to be able to get her in because it had a great reputation and we were not disappointed.

All of the employees were nice, and eager to answer any questions I had. I've heard the same from others. The building itself is nice, taken care of,located by a nice town, and easily accessible albeit easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. The grounds are nice, the view could certainly be better, but then I'm not one to complain about a lot of nearby trees. It was a tad noisy though, but once the construction of the over priced townhouses in the lot nearby is over that will be a moot point. Most of the people and their families I met during my brief visit were nice people, though there will always be the cranky old timer who hates everyone to ruin that.I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't get the job, seemed like a nice place to work or live for that matter, though the food I saw was a little, well what you would expect from a nursing home I suppose.

This is a beautiful facility. Everyone I have worked with concerning continuum care there has been wonderful. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately they have a wait list a mile long but it's well worth it. I would consider placement for my parents there if the need ever arose, and I work for a competitor.
