My husband moved to Riverton Enhanced Senior Living. The facility has been newly renovated and every room is newly painted. They could furnish what they furnish and then you can bring whatever you want. They furnished a bed, a nightstand, a chair, a chest of drawers, and the bedroom for you. Then out in the living area, you can furnish your own chairs, like my husband has a lift chair. So, we put our own things in there for him. There's a full bathroom and a huge closet in the bedroom. There's a jacket closet outside the kitchen, and the kitchen is fully functional if you want it to be. We don't have the stove turned on for my husband, but he has a microwave. He has kitchen cabinets, a sink, a regular size refrigerator, and a nice shelf in between that he can have his medicines on. It's very comfortable there and there's a balcony that goes the length of his two rooms across the living room and the bedroom. There's no exit to the bedroom. Just outside the living room, there's a sliding door. The open areas are beautifully furnished. They have a craft room down on the first floor. They have a manager for the activities and he's very creative. They do a lot of neat things. He has a devotion period one day and he has a book club. The craft room is big. Their dining room is lovely. It looks like a dining room in a restaurant. The food's very good. I've eaten with my husband several times. I pay to eat there, which is $6.50. They do his laundry and clean the apartment every other week. They came in in the morning and helped him get dressed because he has trouble getting his shoes on and his socks. At night, they come up and help him into his pajamas, but if he needs anything, he has a bell around his neck. He just has to press it and they'll come and see what the problem is. He has a nice-sized apartment. It has a single bed and a nice big blue upholstered chair in. He has his one walker in there that he only uses every now and then. Out in the living room, he has a futon, two small rocking chairs, and a table that sits against the wall, but you can open it up and make it a big table. We've used it to do a puzzle, but otherwise, it's just usually against the wall. It looks like a desk. It's very, very accommodating. The staff is very good. Sometimes my husband may have to wait a little bit because he's not the only one there when he rings the bell, so sometimes he gets impatient, but that's not because they don't care. They have a lot of people to take care of. I'm very happy with it. If there's anything that we're not happy with, I would talk to the manager and they take care of it. There's no problem talking to her. The people that work there are very, very friendly. My husband has a person who comes up and gives him some physical therapy in his chair. Then they sometimes take him down into the physical therapy room and give him some things to do. The activity gentleman's name is Micah. Every floor has a common area and an atrium, and he changes which floor he has his little get-togethers on but you're welcomed on all floors. They always get to go right there. I think they're very congenial. Micah talked to my husband when he got there to see what his interests were, and he got a few of the veterans together just to sit and talk among each other one day, which I'm sure was great for all of them. I thought that was a neat thing to do. I think on a Friday, he told me that they have musicians come in. Micah himself will play the piano occasionally if there are a lot of people sitting around on the first floor. They have couches and chairs down there because sometimes the people come down to wait there and go to lunch, dinner, or breakfast. They have people that come in and play other instruments. I didn't know that until this week, and that might be just something that happens occasionally, too, but he has different activities for them, and he tries to talk to everybody to see what they're interested in. It's very easy to get around. There's also a social area on every floor where the people can come out of their apartments and just sit there and relax and talk unless Micah is having one of his meetings there. It's very well taken care of. I would prefer that it costs less than it is, but I like what my husband gets for the money. I looked at quite a few other places and it's kind of at the upper level of pricing and you can tell the difference when you go into the places when it's cheaper. It just isn't as nice.

My mom moved into Riverton Enhanced Senior Living a week ago. I like the living style, the building inside looks more like a hotel, and not like an old retirement nursing home. It's beautiful. They have all sorts of amenities on each floor. The facility is very clean. They are doing a phenomenal job of renovating it to continue to be even more modern than it is now. For instance, we're looking at a two-bedroom to move my dad in as well, and they are gutting the whole thing, putting beautiful vinyl flanking boards down, new appliances, and everything. It's so nice. Also, I just had a huge Cinco de Mayo party yesterday. My mom has participated in their Zumba class there. She went to bingo, did another exercise class, and went to an art class. She's only been there a week. It's amazing the stuff she's doing. She played cards with the ladies the other night. There's something on the calendar almost every day. They get a calendar of activities. There are at least seven activities a day.

I went to Riverton Enhanced Senior Living. They are making restorations to the interior and the exterior of the building. It looked very clean and well-kept. Everything smelled very clean and looked clean as well. The dining room was very nice. The staff went over the menus and you see what's for dinner, lunch, breakfast, and whatever you're interested in eating. But I like to cook for myself. I probably may on occasion eat there, but it looked very clean, and the staff was very nice. They had pretty much everything that I wanted. They have something going on every day, morning till evening. They even have a gym facility there where you can go and work out, which I like.

We moved into Riverton Enhanced Senior Living. My husband needs assisted living, but I'm independent. I wanted to be in an apartment together, and that's what they offered us here. The girl, April, is so nice. It's been such a wonderful experience moving here. When we were touring it, the apartments seemed so appropriate for two people to live together. There's not a lot of room, and they take care of everything for us. They do the cleaning and cooking. I haven't had to do much at all. They serve three meals a day, and they give you plenty of food. If you don't want much, you tell them you want a small appetite, and they give you less. But if you still want more, all you have to do is ask. My husband gets three meals a day, but I'm independent living, so I only get one meal a day. But I'm allowed to eat all three meals. I just have to pay for the first two, and I don't mind doing that because I like having my meals with my husband, so we enjoy that. The staff members are wonderful. They're always asking what they can do for us and if we need anything. They're very, very friendly, and they take the time to talk to you when you want to talk. They don't just brush you off. They're just great. The food is delicious. Some of the things we don't like, but they all taste very good and are well prepared. They keep everything nice. They have an exercise class and a coffee talk. They have something going on every single day.

Itn is very nice. Lian, the person who gave me the tour, was tremendous. We saw the 1- and 2-bedrooms, which were very nice. They had nice balconies and plenty of light. They have a beauty and barber shop, and all sorts of games and activities like bingo.
