My father is in Beaver Elder Care and Rehab. It's small and personable. The staff has been very kind to my father, and helpful. There's one specific gentleman, Leonard, who was the administrator there who just left. I appreciate all the help he gave my father, and he saved my father's life. What I like the most is the friendly staff. My father definitely said the chef that's there is excellent. He eats very well there.

I've been here at Beaver Healthcare and Rehabilitation for 5 months now. It's a pretty large facility, and it's all on one floor. Right now, there are about 35 residents here. They have a large dining room, but you can eat in your room or the dining room. They have a few different activities like coffee and chat in the morning, jeopardy, puzzles, bingo, and outdoor time. My room is supposed to be shared, but I've been alone in it for most of my time here. But they have private rooms, too. Some staff are very nice and very helpful, and then there are some that are just here to work. The physical and occupational therapies are OK, but not the best.

Mom broke her hip Oct. 2020. She was placed for rehab @ Beaver Healthcare. Because of covid, we really had to trust she was getting the care we hoped she would. The staff and caregivers did not disappoint. A few set backs gave us the opportunity to see our 92 year old mom under compassionate care guidelines. What a treat it was for her. It was what was needed for her to recently return to her home. I cannot comment on activities, or value, she did say she enjoyed the food! Thanks to all at Beaver Healthcare

If your thinking about sending a loved one here please don’t. I left there today after 10 days of hell. I will never go back there again. The staff was a nightmare. Rude, mocking and sometimes hateful. Took hours if ever to answer a call bell. In 10 days I saw the “house” dr. One time!!My first day I was put in this room. And told that I couldn’t leave the room or even touch the door ?? I will advise everyone i know to stay clear of this shit hole if you say anything your treated even worse. I thank God I got out of there today. I wasn’t offered one activity the entire time I was there please don’t let a loved one placed in this “rehab” facility

My Dad was a patient there in 2018, he wasn't treated right. My mother informed one of the aids that my dad needed changed and she was very rude stated that my dad always needs changed. When I visited there the staff was rude to the point of ignoring you. Someone else was wearing my dads clothes. They made my dad sit in a wheelchair all day refusing to let him lie down when he wanted. Said he got up and down too much. Woud not reccomend a dog staying here let alone my loved one. Would no have even rated it but they wouldn't let me review otherwise.

I had a really hard time with the decision to place my father in a nursing home. I toured many nursing homes in the area and chose Beaver Elder Care. I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped into the facility. My father has adjusted very well and has already made many friends. I would and do recommend Beaver Elder Care to anyone!!

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident From someone who has seen the wonderful changes over the years, this facility does wonderful work. It may be a little outdated, but the care is much more important than aesthetics. This is definitely the best choice when you need rehab in Beaver County. Rehabilitation is superior, they offer different choices for meals, if you don't like what is being served. Their Medical Director is on call 24/7 and the company that owns them started in the business themselves!

My mother in law was placed there for rehab . I should of caught on when her 100 yr old room mate Complained they don't care , They leave you on your own They don't come when needed they charge 385 a day, as son as they see you coming to visit the therapist Figures you'll take over the exercises with them. Or when at the dining room they leave these people to tens to themselves oh there are a few that help out but the most part your loved ones are on there own .my mother in law fell well on the care of that place I had to bring ointment from home to put on her also I asked several times to have get her bathed forget it ! It doesn't happen also her clothes went missing I had to bring more and then they never washed them and still went missing I don't recommend the place! To no one!

My mother-in-law 20 days in Beaver Elder Care after suffering a heart attack. The facility is very old and the food is horrible. We notified the dietician and staff multiple times that she had a stomach ulcer and could not eat any spicy or tomato based foods, but they continued to serve meals that contained both virtually every day. As a result, we had to bring her meals 4-5 days per week. The final blow was that a Norovirus spread through the facility for 2 weeks that infected a majority of patients and visitors. It caused severe vomiting and diarrhea for 2-4 days per person. Four of our 5 family members also caught the disease within 24 hour of being in the facility.

My uncle stayed there after a B-AKA. He was very poor and ended up on hospice. The Social Worker was wonderful in helping my cousin with the Medicaid process. The staff were great to my uncle and treated my aunt very well too even though she was not a patient there. They did a nice job.

My great grandmother stayed here. The facility accomodated our large family for her 100th birthday party. Granted they are a small place but it was rather kind of them to do that. My gram was always clean and properly dressed. I visited her often taking her Dilly bars her favorite treat from Dairy Queen. Upon my initial visit to the facility there was a vague odor of urine. It wasn' too bad but then again my great-grandma had 14 kids and over 100 grandchildren so somebody was there everyday.
