Country Meadows Village just seems like a real caring atmosphere. Mom's room is great. The maintenance men and the rest of the staff are very good. Food is pretty good, too. The dining area is clean and the waitresses are very thoughtful. They have bingo games, theater, puzzles, exercises, day trips on the van to explore the area, and a little gym.

Country Meadows Village was very nice except that it was too huge for me. I have a daughter in Germany and they do not provide any accommodation for her when she comes for vacation. That was one of the problems I had with them, and then they were so huge that you'd get lost in there. I like the lady who visited with me. She was terrific. She was very, very nice. We had this good rapport. I wouldn't say that they are completely out of the picture because the location is very good for me, but I felt lost in there. She was absolutely one of the nicest people who showed me places. The rooms were nice. She showed me a one-bedroom that was quite acceptable and very nice, but it was a little small for me. We didn't get even into the two-bedroom. They were remodeling when I was there. That shouldn't be a problem at all. It's big enough that you can find something you want if the price is right. They have a salon and a gym. They have everything you could want at my age.

While Country Meadows Village is physically more convenient to an area I'm familiar with, since it's less than a mile away from where I'm living now, I noticed that it's a dated facility. While they keep them clean, there's a lack of attention to detail. There are chair rail marks and smudge marks on the edges of the wood that need to be touched up. It's like having wear marks on banisters. The food was quite acceptable. I had lunch at all four places I toured and Country Meadows was the only one where I was left to my own devices while eating lunch. In the other three places that I went to, the tour guide or the hostess sat and had lunch with me and we discussed the amenities, etc. I don't know if that is just their general methodology or whether the person was busy. She was amiable enough when she was around, but it was the impression that she had something else to do. Even though the tour was scheduled ahead of time, there was something else that was commanding her attention. They had no particular feature as far as nature walks, that kind of thing, are concerned. They had laundry facilities available and once-a-week bedding and linen done by the facility. Most of the utilities are included in the monthly fee. The food preparation and presentation were good. The taste of the food was acceptable or a little better. You don't expect a French Laundry in one of these places.

Country Meadows Village was more of what we were looking for. The assisted living was right across the driveway, so everything was close by. The apartments were all in one building and they had housekeeping come in and you didn't have to hire that on your own. That was all part of the service. It was a lovely campus. The staff members that we met were very helpful and very knowledgeable. It was absolutely beautiful and it's an enormous campus. The people seemed to be living their best life. Bikes and other good things are all over the place. The rooms were lovely and quite large. They had fairly large kitchens and everything. It was just a very comfortable-looking facility. When we were leaving, the bus had just pulled up and was in the entryway there and people were getting off the bus. They have transportation available. They have a beauty barber shop and a large dining room. The common areas that we saw were set up for just whatever you would want to do. The grounds were beautiful. The golf course is about two blocks away, so if you wanted to golf, you could walk to the golf course.

We went to Country Meadows Village. The staff were nice, but we felt a little hurried there. The facility was pretty and nice, but it didn't feel very homey. We didn't feel super welcomed. The pricing was okay. The rooms were nice, but they were small, and they didn't have a stove. They just had a microwave and a sink. They didn't have a full kitchen that you could cook in. The common dining area was nice. They said that they had exercise classes and bingo. They had quite a few activities. The grounds were really pretty. They didn't have a lot of grounds if you want to just walk around. But it was very nicely kept up and it had been recently remodeled.

I really liked Country Meadows Village. It was bright and cheerful. I didn't take as much time there as the other place, but the staff seemed to be really helpful with the residents. The overall feel wasn't quite as homey feeling. I interacted with two staff members, and they were both very knowledgeable and friendly. It just didn't seem like the residents had as much participation in activities. I guess that would be the difference. However, the rooms were very nice. They were a little bit nicer than the other place. They seemed to have a good variety of amenities.

Absolutely Beautiful Community!! Food is excellent, friendly staff, what more could you ask for. I recommend looking at this place before making any decisions to move to a Retirement Place. They have it all including Assisted Living.

We've visited Country Meadows Village. What stood out was the fact that they have a huge waiting list. They have the best prices and therefore a huge waiting list. They had lovely facilities, there were nice bungalows available for independent living, and nice dining facilities. The one staff lady that I talked to wasn't very friendly, she was a little snippy on the phone. They're lovely, and their location is great, but they never have any openings. But that's because their prices are lower.

I made multiple attempts to schedule a tour for my Mom. The last time was today and after the rude attitude from the receptionist I told them forget it I'd find another place.

My mother is at Country Meadows Village. The people were very knowledgeable and welcoming. They had answers to all of our questions. Everything was very clean, neat, light, and open. We were just really impressed with it. The staff members are wonderful. They take really good care of my mom. Her needs have increased since she first went in, and they've adjusted for that. They are probably in every hour or two with either meals, or medication, or to check on her. They come and get her order for her meals. They have a lot of seating areas, a TV room, and a craft room. The building goes around a courtyard in the center with flowers. They have a beautiful gazebo with grass and walkways, so it's easy to walk or use a wheelchair. Their maintenance people are wonderful for taking care of things immediately. We have absolutely no complaints. Their dining room is open to the residents nearly all day. They can go at any time for lunch, breakfast, or dinner. I thought that was really nice.

I will be moving to Country Meadows Village. I put a downpayment to hold a room for me. From the outside, it looks outstanding, and the inside is the same. The rooms are larger than any others that I've seen on other visits. It's well-kept. They have a good program of activities. I didn't eat a meal there, but their meal schedules are published, and you can eat any of the three meals any time during the day. There's no specific time that you have to. It just sounds like a good fit for me. The apartment is good. I'm on the first floor, and they have a couple of other floors. I have a small patio outside and the living room door serves as the outside entrance to the patio, and so I don't have to go around to get outside. The apartment is over 500 square feet. It's a good size. It's a one-bedroom. There are two good closets inside the bedroom, and there's another smaller closet in another location. There's plenty of room for clothes and it is big enough for the furniture that I want to bring for myself. It's the best layout that I've seen. The one that I talked to, one of the people in charge, was an outstanding individual. Overall, it's just a good fit for me. I asked about the staff and a lot of them have been there for several years. They don't seem to have a large turnover of staff. They got a gym, a library, and a game room. They have transportation available, and they have activities going on. The overall appearance was outstanding. It's in a good area. The grounds are well kept. The interior is nice. It was just a one-hour visit but it was enough to tell me that I would be happy there and I don't need to look any further. Everything was really neat and clean. It's well kept in the lobby, and there are places to sit for people.

We chose Country Meadows Village for my mom. The facility itself is beautiful. It's well-kept, it's modern looking, it isn't run down at all. Really wide hallways. So, access for people with walkers and stuff is not as much a problem. The staff was excellent. She was really helpful, she was easy to deal with and very relaxed. She's good. There was a little bit of an area that needed a little more vacuuming. They have an outdoor area in an inner circle that has a big gazebo, and I know they do things there, events for people, and they have a beautiful beauty salon.

Would have wanted to know the food is terrible and that there was no plan in place for an emergency..I.e enough blankets and flashlights for all residents. All generators not working as required by law and Fire Department. A staff that was AOL! Except a receptionist. All managers at this facility should be fired!

Country Meadows Village is an older community but it's still nice and clean. They didn't have as many amenities or activities as the place we chose, and it's pretty similar and as nice to all the other places we have toured. The staff members who gave us the tour were very nice and professional. They showed us a studio apartment, but they also have variety like 1-bedrooms and 2-bedrooms also.

Country Meadows Village was very good, and my friend has already put a deposit down on an apartment there. The rooms are very comfortable and nice. There are different levels like independent living, assisted living, and memory care, and it is all in one big development, so if things move along in that direction, she won't have to move from that area. There's a library and transportation to church. It was a very comfortable and homey place. It's owned by the same person for 15 years, so there's no corporation involved, and it's very personal. You made a deposit, and that's held for you until you’re able to get into one of the units, and then it applies towards your rent.

Country Meadows had everything a person would want and all kinds of activities. Beautiful rooms although we only saw the bottom floor. It is accessible to all of their activities. They have three meals a day, but we didn’t try any of the meals. They should be nominated for sainthood as they are really nice during the visit. They had a pool and card games.

Country Meadows Village is close to where we live now, so we would be able to keep our friends if we were to move there. Everything's new, clean, and bright, and there are lots of activities. We know people there, and the facilities are very nice. The rooms are nice. It's probably where we would go. They have guest lecturers, and the residents go on trips. The residents play card games and do athletic things to stay in shape. There is another building for memory care and other issues.

My sister in law is living in the assisted area; so often when I visit, I have to have one of the aides come and empty her trash cans as are filled to the brim; once she was sleeping on her mattress....no sheets; also, her laundry basket was overflowing so had to request they do her laundry that day! Another time her newspapers were on the floor in the kitchen and by her sofa...she could slip on them! I feel like I need to go just to make sure her care is what is being paid for.....as often it is not! A shame I can't just relax and know she is being well taken care of.

Country Meadows Village just had everything we wanted. It probably didn't have as many things to do as some of the other ones, but we're not that active ourselves. They had transportation, and they had the size and the things in the room we needed. We have a small dog, and I'm somewhat disabled. They showed us rooms on the bottom floor where we could let the dog out. They were just very accommodating. It's about half hour from our home, and our daughter lives 15 minutes away from there, so everything was just the way we wanted.

Country Meadows Village is close to home and we can afford it that's why we chose the facility. The place seemed pleasant and it has everything we are looking for. They have activities for her and she could have her own space along with care that can be wrapped up as needed. It was a comfortable facility for her and their arrangement suited to her needs.

I have visited this facility as a healthcare professional numerous times in the last 4 months. I would suggest that the care given to the patients is exceptional. When I have pushed the "call" light for patients, the staff comes to the room within 10 minutes. They have 2 med techs in the evening, one to do dressing changes on wounds and another to pass the medications. The dining room is beautiful, and the patients are offered many choices of food. I have told the administrator that this is a place that I would choose for my own mother, should the need arise.
