My husband is in Brookdale Redmond. I love it. It's great. He's in memory care. It's beautiful. He has a private room, and it's very nice and large and has nice windows. Most of the caregivers have been wonderful. The nurse is above and beyond great. The assistant manager, April, is wonderful. I appreciate all their help. There's not much offered though. They have television and popcorn (that's about it). The meals are wonderful and balanced, and they taste good. They give them snacks, and they always have dessert.

We toured Brookdale Redmond. The place was nice inside. The people were friendly. But the carpets were filthy and stained (the ones that were available), but they were good-sized. They were okay. They showed us the dining area, the sitting area, and the rooms. The staff who toured us was good. They need to improve on the cleanliness in the room though. A new carpet would be nice because that was pretty bad. The guy that showed us around was nice, but we never got any information to bring home. There was no packet or anything, so probably that would have been very helpful to share with my mom.

The tour at Brookdale Redmond was fine. The young lady that led the tour was a very excellent presenter. She did an excellent job. The apartments, as they are, seemed fine. They're just way too small for us. They served us lunch, and the food was great. We just ordered one of the side dishes though. We didn't order a full meal. I didn't interact with anybody except the sales rep and the receptionist, and they were great. As far as services, I would give them a five-star. I can't believe all they provide. I think it's wonderful. If the apartments had a little bit more room, we would be interested. They take care of medication, they take care of scheduling doctor's appointments, and they provide transportation to doctor's appointments. They have a doctor and a nurse on staff all the time. My husband liked the place. For other people, I'm sure it's a perfect place because they seemed happy there. We did see one person doing a jigsaw puzzle. Other than that, we didn't see anything going on.

Brookdale Redmond was very nice. It felt very comfortable and welcoming. The room was very acceptable and very nice. There was just no empty room that we could see, and that was a little disappointing. We had to kind of sneak into one of the resident's rooms. Michelle was wonderful though. She did a great job. They let us have lunch, which was great. My mother thought it would be a fine place for her to live, and we actually put down a deposit.

I had known about Brookdale Redmond, because we had another family member who lived there before, and we needed to find an assisted living home for my mom that would accept Medicaid and they were one of those places. So, we've put her here and it's been working out well. They called me right away, made an appointment, and they were super professional and very easy to work with. They just made the whole transition extremely easy. Living there is like you're going on vacation to the Hilton. It's very nice. I like it. It's very open and it's got big windows. One side of my mom's room has all the windows, so it's very bright. They have a bus that would take the residents out to certain places as far as doctor's appointments and shopping. The staff has been amazing. They're super kind. They all wear masks and are just really nice. My mom loves vegetables and they've tried to accommodate her likes, which is nice of them. They're located on the street, so they don't have an open park-like area, but they have a beautiful courtyard in the middle of the facility that's kept up nicely. It has a fountain and it's super nice and clean. They make efforts to have a sun tent, so you always see the residents outside under the sun tent.

My mother-in-law is at Brookdale Redmond and it's very good. The people are very friendly, and they gave us all of the information that we needed and worked with us, and it was just a great experience. The food is excellent. There are vegetables and fruit, and they have their big meal at noon and then their lunch in the evening, and it's just perfect for older people. They have activities every day. I'm very happy with the price we're paying.

I really didn't feel that Brookdale Redmond was set up for independent living. The rest of the place is also set up for assisted living. I'd rate them fairly low because their facilities don't meet our needs. The staff who gave the tour seemed knowledgeable. To be in independent living, you have to take one of their 2-bedroom cottages, which are very expensive. The cottage was fine. It's a big, separate cottage like a house. The upkeep looked alright. I thought their lobby was messier than what I thought I would normally expect.

I looked at Brookdale Redmond. It was a nice facility, but I just thought it was too large for my husband considering the issues he's dealing with. I thought the staff was competent. The wing that he would have been in was too large for his needs. The dining area was nice and clean.

We were interested in the Brookdale Redmond memory care section. It was spacious and clean, it didn't have an odor, and the residents were out and about -- they actually approached us and had a conversation with us. The person during the tour was a little bit on the rude side when we told him we were going to try to get Medicaid help. He pretty much told us that we didn't have a place there. They had a room with a piano, and a room that they called the chapel.

My mother-in-law is staying at Brookdale, and it's nice. The services are pretty good, and the staff is very nice. She doesn't like the food, she only likes the breakfast. They have exercise class, and many different things if people are interested in doing them.

Brookdale Redmond has a lot to offer. It was a very nice facilty. Mom fits right in because she found a couple of ladies to sit with at the same table to enjoy their meals. There was another lady who has a dog too, and they walk their dogs together. They have a bus that takes them to the stores once a week. They have a movie night, play bingo, and they have an Activities Director who thinks of different activities for the residents to do. They provide the transportation for my mom’s appointments with her doctors.

The building itself is absolutely beautiful. Even my stepdad says Brookdale Redmond (Formerly Emeritus at Cougar Springs) is the most beautiful building he's ever seen. They have a wonderful dining area for the residents and they have little places for them to go sit and read or watch television. It was just really nice. The staff is always there. They come in and they sit down and talk with him and I've seen them do that with all the other residents. They really seem to care. His apartment is very nice and roomy, and all the rooms have windows which is really nice because their grounds are beautiful. They seem to be quite adequate for what they need, being especially in memory care.

This place is pretty terrible. My mother-in-law is here and everytime we come here she seems very unhappy. The staff is often rude and their attitude towards the residents and guest makes me believe they care very little about their residents. For the amount of money it costs to host someone here, I would expect a more professional and respectful environment. I would not recommend this establishment.

My dad had stayed at Emeritus at Cougar Springs. We chose it because of the friendliness of the people and the staff. I liked the fact that when I called, they would call right back. When we talked to them, they had answers. They were efficient. The place was very nice and clean.

Emeritus was very nice. I was very impressed with how nice it was. It was also clean. I'm considering going there; it was very good. They had stairways but they also had an elevator for people who can't handle stairs. That was really neat. They did have nice rooms. They're small but for one person, they're pretty big. They also have cooking facilities and refrigerators in their rooms. It was nice. They also had nice dining room. The people there seemed very polite and very nice too. We had lunch and we're impressed with our lunch there. It was great! I couldn't ask for anything better. The living environment was great. They have a big room for activities like watching TV, etc. They also have a bus that takes you wherever you might want to go. The day we went, I did see a lot of people that went on the bus to go somewhere.
