When my brother first entered HCFC we were concerned about housekeeping. And the rooms are barely tolerable frankly. it's not what I think it should be. The thing that matters the most is that he is well cared for and is emotionally comfortable. They have more than exceeded in that. The staff is amazing. He is there for rehab. He will be coming home soon and he is going to miss the staff and the residents. As we will. Thank you HCFC for your compassion for your residents the respect of family. I wish I knew the names of the therapist that are working with my brother. You know who you are. But I would love to give the upmost rating for Tracey the nurse case manager. She is so totally understanding. Tolerate and does her job amazing. I could keep going and going. Thank you HCFC

My dad is at Healthcare at Foster Creek. The staff is really wonderful, and that’s what’s really important, especially with my dad because he needs 24/7 care. He needs people watching him all of the time because he falls a lot. The number one thing that I really like is that they have enough people to be on top of things. Aesthetically, it is not a very pretty place, but he gets the attention that he needs there. The room is very sterile. He shares a room with three other people, and there are curtains that go around him like in a hospital. It is not very pretty. The food is OK, though.

Healthcare was pretty poor. It was really not a good place for my friend. It was more of a mental institution. Also, they had a lot of people who were mentally incapacitated. My friend really wasn't that type of person. He was in a good state of mind, so it was really hard on him to be around that. It depressed me just to go there and visit him. My friend was on Medicare/Medicaid, and he even had his own supplemental insurance, but they pretty much ignored all of his complaints and his problems. They put him off like he didn't exist. The very reason he is not in that place right now was because he blew up like a balloon from something and he ended up in the VA Hospital. Even at that, they weren't going to let him go. My friend was in the VA Hospital for about a week, and when he left, he went to this new place because we were not going to let him go back there. His improvement has been 300% since he left that facility. It was a big difference. This was a facility that really doesn't have the knowledge to take care of people the way they need to be taken care of. The nursing staff was good, but not the management. The management was terrible. They didn't care about the patients. All they wanted to do is keep them there and that money coming in. They weren't very considerate.
